I’m not a coffee drinker because I would feel jittery then get the worst crash and anxiety after, but Joey’s Mushroom Coffee Alternative gives me none of that!! I do one spoonful then froth in milk and hot water then add a dash of maple syrup and it’s delicious. Gave me a natural energy boost- nothing crazy, and love the amazing benefits that come with it!! I’ve been having a cup of joe’y every morning for the last week and I am so impressed! As a girl with acid reflux (gerd) but a lover of coffee, I hated the feeling of getting heartburn or having to take a pepcid before enjoying a cup of coffee. With Joe’y I get to enjoy it’s yummy taste and great health benefits! Also can I mention that the caffeine perks me up but doesn’t have me crash at the end of the day? Love that. WOW this was so good! I was skeptical at first because I’ve tried other coffee alternatives with mushrooms, cacao etc and honestly they all tasted like dirt lol. Not Joe’y! The hints of cinnamon and cacao tastes so yummy and smooth- I don’t taste the mushrooms at all. It also mixes really well! No chalky texture which was another con I found in other products. This is the first coffee alternative I like and truly give a 10/10!

I was not sure what to expect but this is surprisingly so delicious. There’s just enough caffeine without creating a crash, and my stomach has been great since having this once a day. It’s tea like with a subtle earthiness like matcha or mushroom coffee and the cinnamon flavour perfectly balances it out. I would personally make it with 2 tsp and 1 part hot water and mix for a good consistency and then add 3 parts milk if you like milk teas! I pour this over ice and some slight sweetener.

Very good and pleasantly surprised! I wasn’t expecting the chocolate flavor, it’s not heavy chocolate but faint and it’s nice! It provides a gentle pick me up as well without the crash! I had it over the holidays and added eggnog and made my own Starbucks eggnog latte at home! Absolutely DELISH!!!

I wasn't sure what to expect given it says it's "roasted" and "rich" but without the coffee beans, but I guess that's a good thing because I was very pleasantly surprised. It tastes incredible. And it really DOES taste roasted like a coffee would be (like a medium roast), although it's much less acidic which I prefer.Yes, it doesn't taste like coffee beans, but it really does scratch the itch of coffee for me. Plus you get a little bit of the cacao which adds to the subtle dark chocolate flavor. But it's not too much! It's just enough in my opinion. And once you add milk or creamer, I honestly think it's better than coffee (no sugar required). My preference is a dash of oat milk.The feeling is also great. I'm new to adaptogens & mushroom drinks, so I really didn't know what to expect in terms of energy boost. But it really did work. With coffee I tend to overdo it so I end up jittery or wired and it becomes even harder to focus. I don't know how, but this puts me in the perfect zone. And I stayed that way for hours. I can even have a second cup in the afternoon (if needed) for a second "boost" but it won't keep me up late at night. Basically, it does what it says it does. I'm definitely excited to keep going.

Got for me (although I don’t drink coffee) but my husband who does drink coffee tried it first and liked it a lot. I tasted his and it’s a bit strong for me, but I think it’s cause I don’t drink coffee. But I still think I like it.😊

I've been drinking Ryze for around half a year and wanted to try some different options, so I ordered a few mushroom coffees for a taste test. Long story short, this stuff is great.Ryze is definitely trying to taste like a traditional coffee, and it largely achieves that (albeit with a lot of earthy / mushroom taste on top). Main complaint with Ryze is a great deal of sediment and grit floating that makes drinking it unpleasant to drink, plus they have a terrible subscription service business model if you want decent pricing.Max Fit 10 Mushrooms Coffee: Absolute dogwater. Imagine the darkest roast gas station coffee you've ever had, only it's been sitting on the burner for HOURS before finally being poured out to be used as an agent of fate to punish you for some past wrongdoing. Tastes like cigarette butts and dirt. Drinker discretion is advised.And that brings us to Joey! First things first, it seems like they weren't trying to 1:1 replicate the taste of coffee, which considering the above review, I think is good. Instead they pushed for their own flavor, landing somewhere in the lightly-spiced-chai-coffee realm (for the original flavor at least). Tastes fantastic in my opinion, without being overwhelming. Haven't been drinking it for long yet, but I'll revise this review if anything goes horribly wrong. One complaint is that it does still have quite a bit of caffeine, which if you have GERD and are looking for safer options, might still cause some reactions in more sensitive people.
