Caffeine-free herbal blend with earthy, cinnamon notes. Customers said it dissolves well in hot water and works great with milk or creamer. "Rich and chocolatey" taste, some find gritty residue at bottom. Most enjoy the natural flavor. Price concerns noted, but customers appreciate health benefits and versatility.
- There is something magical about this herbal coffee. It smells and taste amazing.
- It's rich and chocolatey. It doesn't taste like a mushroom coffee, just a good cup of coffee.
- I feel focused and calm and not jittery and the taste is pretty good as well.

This does not taste like traditional coffee at all but it's not a bad flavor. If you want instant coffee, this is not for you. In actuality, it's earthy and interesting for a change of pace to a coffee lovers routine who like something hot in the afternoons that won't keep them awake. If you've tried chicory coffee, there's a hint of that in here. It's more like a hot tea than a coffee and, yes, it does leaves some residue in the bottom of the cup. With cream and sugar, it's a nice warm drink with a unique flavor.I think the expenditure on this though is too much though and I wouldn't reach for this all the time. However, for the healthy-properties in it, it is a nice beneficial drink.
This is my first time trying an "alternative" coffee, but I have had several different mushroom coffees. I actually do really enjoy the flavor a lot, it has a very nice earthy taste and definitely a strong cinnamon presence. It is well balanced and nicely spiced. Honestly I don't know what most the ingredients even are, but it definitely seems to be very high quality and very nicely made. I like the idea of consuming a variety of beneficial natural ingredients.I can't speak much to the energy or focus or stimulant aspect of this, especially as I also drink regular coffee alongside it, but it is an enjoyable beverage. I don't think value proposition is too strong however as the bag is quite small.
This might take a little getting used to, but it's not bad at all. I have been looking for an alternative to my morning coffee due to several health issues, and I don't like tea, so this is an interesting alternative. It has a nice blend of ingredients including chicory, maca, and dandelion root that give it a rich, mildly sweet flavorIt doesn't taste anything like coffee, and it doesn't contain caffeine, so if you are looking for something with the same taste and effect of coffee this isn't a good match. It has an earthy flavor which is to be expected. It blends well just using hot water. I just mix it with a spoon, and there isn't a lot of grittinessI wasn't crazy about it the first time I tried it, but now I am enjoying it after about a week having it every morning
I like the idea of this product. It claims to be free of caffeine, gluten, and grains. However, I was disappointed that the product I received did not have the ‘USDA organic’ label on the front or anywhere on the package, while the product shown in the advertised pictures does. All of the ingredients do state “organic” so that’s a plus, but without the official seal, it’s unknown if the product meets USDA standards. Also on the back of the package, there is a ‘reproductive harm’ warning per the state of California proposition 65 list, so do take note of that. The product itself is like a powder. The smell is mild; a little earthy with subtle hints of cinnamon and floral scent. It mixes pretty well in hot water. There’s a bit of residue at the bottom of the mug that can taste gritty when you’re down to the last bit, but it’s fine otherwise. As for taste, just as some people don’t like black coffee, I didn’t care for this product plain. It essentially tastes like what it is— a blend of watery roots and ‘shrooms. However, when I added creamer, it was drinkable.I also made this following directions with the hot water, but then let it cool off and added ice with my favorite creamer. I was impressed with the taste here. You just have to stir it more frequently when drinking it cold since it likes to settle at the bottom. I could see this being an acquired taste over time, and a good option for those wanting to stop drinking coffee altogether.I can’t say if this product really boosted my mood or gave me energy, but to be fair, even caffeine/coffee only gives me a small boost then wears off fairly quickly. So the effects from this product could vary from person to person. For me, this product won’t replace my usual morning coffee, but for those looking for a coffee alternative, this could be an option.
The blend mixes easily into hot water and has a smooth, slightly earthy taste. I’ve been adding a little milk and sweetener, which balances the flavor nicely. So far, I haven’t experienced any jitters or digestive discomfort while using it. I like having a caffeine-free option that still gives me a bit of a morning boost without the usual coffee effects. The powder dissolves well and doesn't leave any grit at the bottom of the cup.
I was a bit concerned when I purchased this because many of the reviews mentioned that there was a bad taste with this, however I really like the taste. Perhaps the other reviewers are not used to more "natural" tasting foods and drinks. I suppose if you're used to the "non-food" stuff sold in grocery stores this might have a bad taste to you but if you're already used to natural, earth foods than this will be right up your alley. I do prefer it cold over hot but I definitely recommend brewing with hot water since it does take a bit to dissolve. Trying to brew cold probably wouldn't work well and even brewing hot still leaves sediment at the bottom of the cup that is gritty and not pleasant to drink. I drink mine black but I did try it with cream added and it was still good. The ingredients look fantastic with lots of health benefits. I do agree with many reviewers that this is pricey for what you get. Most of the ingredients can be locally foraged so if that's your thing you could easily replicate this at home for free or very cheap. I probably wouldn't buy it again simply because the price is too high.
There is something magical about this herbal coffee. It smells and taste amazing, real earthy and faintly of cinnamon and kind of a cocoa flavor to it. I drink mushroom coffee just about daily, and dandelion and burdock at least once a week, maca every now and then and having this all combined into one is quite awesome. I decided to drink this the way I like my mushroom coffee which is with oat milk creamer shaken like a bar tender over ice. It is really amazing and enjoyable over ice and plain as an herbal coffee too. I really like the pouch it comes in, it has a matte texture to it, very unique and different than all the other herbal coffees, it really stands out. I am really impressed with this new to me brand, love their logo and love that the owner is an herbalist. I would highly recommend, good stuff. Thank you!
Delicious! You never know what to expect with these adaptogenic coffee alternatives, but this is great. You do need to really stir it to get it to dissolve. I'd recommend one of those little battery powered mini whisks. It says to mix it in water and use cream to sweeten, but honestly I thought it was better just mixed into hot soy milk. It's rich and chocolatey. I didn't even need creamer. It doesn't taste like a mushroom coffee, just a good cup of coffee. I really enjoyed it.
My husband loves an after dinner coffee but the caffeine usually keeps him awake. This is perfect and he can still sleep at night.
Great herbal coffee alternative, nice taste, I was surprised.
Makes a really nice addition to yogurt as well. Mixed with banana makes it a sweet powerhouse of a snack.
This is a really nice, high quality blend of adaptogenic mushrooms that makes a coffee break in the afternoon a time of gearing up to power through the rest of the day. I feel focused and calm and not jittery and the taste is pretty good as well. I use regular creamer or agave to sweeten it and I really enjoy it.
Been drinking since this was packed in the glass jar, perfect alternative to get past your morning coffee!
This blend tastes amazing. Ifind the maca and mesquite flavors really come through which I love and compared to teachino it doesn’t cause any bloating. I usually mix in blender with hot water and warm milk plus a date. No issues with clumping. It might not mix well with just a spoon though.
