Hydroxyapatite in a toothpaste has been recommended by my dentist. I ordered this because I've hadn't tried it yet and wanted to see if I would like it. Getting a small travel-sized tube makes sense to test the chocolate taste and I liked it very much, as long as your mind is prepared for something other than mint when you brush your teeth, lol. I found that my teeth felt very clean with this and want to use it more and more. I hope to order other flavors as well.

This is a chocolate flavored toothpaste that is very sweet and does not taste like a toothpaste. It is tiny which is good for travel. The texture of the toothpaste is a little different from regular toothpaste. It is thinner and doesn’t really foam with brushing. I have sensitive teeth with weak enamel so the nano hydroxyapatite is an important ingredient that I need to strengthen my teeth. I don’t rinse after brushing with the toothpaste as instructed. I am not sure if I should order it again because it is pricey.

This toothpaste has a good "story," invented by dentists because they were unhappy with the toothpastes that were on the market and wanted a toothpaste that would improve the oral microbiome, the good bacteria that live in our mouths.I tried the chocolate one, it does have a nice smell and flavor, like milk chocolate. The directions say you should use an amount the size of a pea and brush for two minutes. They recommend that you don't rinse, just leave the toothpaste on your teeth and let the paste do its work. I liked the smell and taste and the small size of the tube, but I would guess it is quite expensive compared to standard commercial toothpastes in cost per volume or weight. Free from fluoride, SLS, and harsh ingredients. A good produce though, seems like it would be good to brush at least a day with something like this.

The 0.7oz version is a tiny tube, but using a pea-sized portion up to 2x a day could last you about a week of travel.This would be my second tube of nanohydroxyapatite (NHA) toothpaste. I started avoiding fluoride a couple of years ago, which I hope is having health benefits... but not doing cavities any favors. I did research on NHA (and I mean *real* research, not just Internet fads... it's been extensively documented in formal clinical studies, NIH, etc, to be as effective or more effective than fluoride in actually restoring enamel and potentially eliminating small cavities). It does take at least a couple of weeks to notice effects (e.g., reduced tooth sensitivity) and now that I'm approaching the end of my second week, I don't know if I've noticed night-and-day difference but it seems to help.The recommendation is to leave the toothpaste on, not rinse, to let the NHA settle in to your enamel. Normally I'd be weirded out, but... let me tell you, this toothpaste tastes FORBIDDENLY good! Like, it actually has cocoa as an ingredient and it TASTES. LIKE. COCOA. (And looks like cocoa, too). Almost impossible to believe it's good for your teeth, but it doesn't have sugar and it doesn't have anything bad in it... so, if this is the miracle cure, then I'm all in!

I have to admit I was very skeptical at first because I've never heard of a chocolate flavored toothpaste however I have to say that I actually love chocolate and the flavor was definitely not disappointing as it definitely tasted exactly like good quality chocolate. As far as whitening my teeth and or enamel repair it's probably going to take some time to see the effects and therefore may be difficult to quantify but I will see how it goes. I also noticed that this toothpaste thins out during use and does not lather up like a typical toothpaste although that doesn't bother me at all. So overall a very different but pleasant tasting toothpaste as long as you like chocolate.

Using this toothpaste is like biting into a bar of milk chocolate. The directions say not to rise after applying the toothpaste. I've never used this kind of toothpaste before and it is taking time to adjust mentally to it.The ingredients of this toothpaste are great as well and resemble chocolate bar more than toothpaste with cocoa, vanilla, monk fruit. The toothpaste ingredients are also great natural ingredients like hydrated silica, Xylitol and glycerin (non-GMO) and alternative to fluoride, as well as Chicory Root and other pre-biotics.

I was pleasantly surprised by this toothpaste! I originally bought it for the clean ingredients, but it completely exceeded my expectations. I chose the vanilla flavor and it tastes so good, light, natural, and not artificially sweet at all.There’s no baking soda, which I love because it feels gentler on my teeth and doesn’t have that salty taste or gritty texture that lots of natural toothpastes have. My mouth feels fresh and clean after every use and I’m already excited to try the other flavors. I would love a remineralizing vanilla mint flavored mouthwash rinse to follow!

Tastes like hot chocolate! Not sure what I was expecting but this is surprisingly good! Great for my teeth, the texture is smooth with small granules. Bottle cap opens easily and easy to squeeze out. Whitens and hopefully rebuilds enamel

Thanks to this toothpastes my 8 year old loves brushing her teeth! Not only that but this product remineralizes our teeth and has no flouride. Tastes amazing and love and leaves our teeth so smooth shiney and white!

I got another toothpaste from Fygg and that one had a pretty ordinary flavor. This chocolate one is so unique and makes brushing more fun. I feel like I get everything I need from a toothpaste but with that touch of sweetness. Its unique scent masks any unpleasant smells go away and leaves me with a nice thorough clean. It works for the whole family.

Got this toothpaste today and I'll admit the chocolate flavor is surprisingly subtle and pleasant (was worried it would be like brushing with a candy bar). The non foaming formula takes some getting used to since we're all conditioned to expect them, but my teeth actually feel really clean and smooth after brushing. Though I'm intrigued by all the fancy ingredients, I'm mostly just happy to find a fluoride free option that doesn't taste like chalk.

It doesn't contain any fluoride, or artificial ingredients. I wouldn't use this daily, as I prefer a fluoride toothpaste to prevent cavities. To me, its just a neat novelty product, that makes it interesting and fun when brushing the teeth.

This toothpaste caught my attention with both the flavor and with being a prebiotic toothpaste. Love that this brand shows the ingredients on the front and is free from fluoride, SLS, and harsh contents. This toothpaste supports your Oral Microbiome Balance & has Nano-Hydroxyapatite for helping enamel repair. But how does it taste? Surprisingly not bad at all! Kinda fun! And does it clean your teeth? I use an electric toothbrush for 2 to 4 minutes and when I was done my teeth and mouth felt clean. There is no foaming action if you need that in a toothpaste. I enjoyed this odd, flavored toothpaste.

After doing some digging into the brand and the ingredients, I was really excited to try a non-flouride toothpaste developed by holistic dentics who were committed to making toothpaste without all the fillers you'd find in standard toothpastes. I've enjoyed the brushing experience with this so far and have noted it doesn't bother my (annoyingly) sensitive teeth. While I enjoy the chocolate flavor -it tastes just like Swiss Miss to me- it's a little strange to have toothpaste with cacoa in it. My brain can't quite wrap around the fact that I don't have to brush my teeth with something else when I'm done because of the dessert-like flavor.

I am still learning about this ingredient, and I read some more about it on the brand website. They say, "Fygg toothpaste is formulated with 15.5% NanoXIM, resulting in a 3.1% concentration per tube. This is within the optimal range for effectiveness, ensuring that you get the best benefits for remineralization, sensitivity reduction, and whitening." The article on their website explains why they don't think 10% is optimal.I'm not sure I will fully switch from fluoride toothpaste since there isn't as much research yet, but this is an option I will consider adding to my rotation.

I've used Fygg Nano Hydroxyapatite toothpaste before so I am familiar with the benefits that nano hydroxyapatite provides. It is said to be similar to the composition of teeth so it may help remineralize and strengthen the teeth. The chocolate is a surprisingly good flavor.Since I use a sonic toothbrush, I put the toothpaste on the brush and run it around my mouth to spread it around before starting my cleaning to assure an even application of the paste on my teeth. The toothpaste is formulated and contains prebiotics in the form of chicory root and is designed to help restore the oral microbiome. Definitely not the toothpaste you probably grew up on and takes a bit to get used to but I'm getting thumbs up from my dental hygienist. I recommend giving it a try.

I really appreciate being able to see why each thing is used. There is no foaming, which I prefer. The foam doesn’t actually clean better, it just makes people think it does. So some products have things added in like detergents just to make a foam.Nano hydroxyapatite has been used in Japan for a while, and is now picking up interest in the States. Which is fantastic. I can’t make medical claims, as I am not a dentist or FDA, but I encourage you to do some reading about what research has shown about this. It is fascinating.This requires no rinsing after use, to let the n-HA work longer. The flavour is like a fudgesicle.The price is a bit steep, though travel sizes are always more per ounce. The larger 4 oz sizes are more economical. The chocolate flavour is nice, and I like the no foaming, and most other toothpastes add foaming agents.
