    What Makes Sertodo Special To Us

    Sertodo Copper was founded by Jonathan Beall, whose journey began in 1997 selling handcrafted copper throughout the United States from the back of his truck, affectionately named El Macho. His path led him to Santa Clara del Cobre in the Sierra Madre Occidental of Michoacán, where he apprenticed for two years under Maestro Maximo and Maestro Chema, learning a copper-working tradition that spans more than 1,000 years.

    After completing his apprenticeship, Jonathan partnered with Maximo’s eldest son, Martin, to build a workshop rooted in respect for craft, family, and heritage. What started as a simple dirt-floor, two-person space has grown into a thriving copper studio — but the commitment to traditional craftsmanship, integrity, and community remains unchanged.

    I was looking for a copper kitchen aide and could not find one. So, I decided to get the black cast iron instead and get a copper bowl. It was hard trying to find a copper bowl. I came upon this one and yes it was expensive, but I was only using this for decorative purposes. If you are looking at buying this, just get it. You won’t be disappointed. I used Afterpay to buy it.

    Very high quality mixing bowl

    Bought this for my wife for Christmas and she loves it. It perfectly fits the Kitchen Aid 7 quart mixer, it is very heavy compared to the original mixing bowl, pricy but it’s a high quality product.

    Blown away by the quality

    My husband just purchased this for me for my birthday. We are both blown away by the quality! It’s almost 4 1/2 pounds and it’s way heavier than the stainless steel bowl that came with the KitchenAid. So, if you’re on the fence because of the cost, it’s worth the price! Just wow! 10 out of 10 recommend. I don’t think I’ve been more impressed by a purchase on Amazon than I have with this. I love it! ❤️

    If you are a serious chef you need this Copper Mixing Bowl

    Perfect fit, awesome look, and the egg white peaks are incredible!! Solid hammered copper and the solder lines for the holding tabs and handle are so well done you could call an artistic piece.Easy to clean and maintain, you will want to show off your stand mixer on the counter with this bowl as it is that nice of a conversation starter.

    A Beautiful Family Heirloom - A True Work of Art

    This bowl is a beautiful item, perfectly formed, and solidly constructed. It is a true fit for a 6-qt Kitchenaid, but unfortunately, my sister's mixer was a 5-qt. She returned it with much regret, but was able to find other beautiful items on the Sertodo website as a replacement gift. I would recommend Sertodo copper items to anyone who appreciates fine craftsmanship. These products are heavy, finely crafted, and should last for many generations.

    Update: several months later and I am still OBSESSED with how gorgeous this bowl is on my counter. It is just stunning. Before purchasing, I eyed Sertodo's copper mixing bowl for my Kitchen-aide 600 series for quite some time and finally pulled the trigger. It fits my mixer perfectly, and the handle is ergonomic enough for me to hand-whip egg whites. While I 100% did not need to purchase this bowl, I am so glad I did. It really looks stunning on my licorice black mixer. The bowl is satisfyingly heavy, and all around beautiful. I cannot wait to whip a perfect buttercream in it!
