I really love how this shaving cream smells. It's got like a pine tree scent or forest scent. Whatever it is it smells really great. It feels great on my face and it's easy to shave with. Once my shave is over my face feels super smooth, and it actually doesn't dry my face out like most shaving creams/gels do. I also really love the box art inside of the box. It details the rivers, wood, etc. I think it's a neat touch and it draws more people to your products. I would definitely recommend this product at its current price point.

I've used this type of shaving cream before, so there is no learning curve for me. For those that haven't, it is similar to gels in that they don't foam up liked canned shaving creaming. You need to almost paint your skin to ensure full coverage. It's not a big deal, just a little different. It smells good - nice and light and fresh. I like the ingredients too - it does seem a lot more natural - which seems more and more important. I got a good shave with no irritation afterwards, but that isn't that uncommon for me - it's more a function of the razor I'm using. Really, about the only negative I can think of is that it is pretty expensive - one could get a lot of other shave creams or gels at this price. You pay for quality though and this creams seems like a quality product.

Even the price seems high but the most of ingredients are natural and botanical, it's also allergy tested and dermatogogist tested so it's safe to use.Giving it to our son, he said it's a good product, smell pleasant and make him feel good & clean after shaving.This is a made in the USA product, will be a good gift for any occasion.

The bottle is pretty good size and the box that it came with has some nice art inside too.The shave cream itself is smooth and easy to apply to the face. It has a nice smell to it when you apply to your face. It does make a shave easier and reduces irritation on the face afterwards as well. It is easy to clean and wash away from your face.

I've been using this with my electric shaver to shave my head, works excellent. Since I sport a beard I don't shave my face, but I do shave my head a couple of times a week. I really like the scent and it works very well with my electric head shaver. I do shave in the shower so this does get thinned with a touch of water. Cleans out of the shaver afterwards with no clogging issues.I would recommend this product.

My search for a properly foaming good smelling reasonably priced shave cream is over

This shaving cream has been amazing, it smells great (like pine/coconut) and provides great protection when shaving. Disclaimer: I've spent some time playing with the water-cream ratio in a mixing bowl and this shaving cream never seems to get as "fluffy" as other brands but I assume it's due to the chemicals other brands use. The cream still works perfectly but it doesn't seem to get as fluffy for me, which honestly allows for better visibility.

I've been using Jackfir shaving cream for a few years now. It is so reassuring to use a product that I know is completely clean and lacks the toxic additives in the typical mass market shaving creams. I've noticed a significant improvement in my skin quality (I also use the cleanser and moisturizer) after using this product and would recommend it to anyone.

I bought this shave cream as a gift, so I haven’t personally used it yet. However, based on my observations, it has a few noteworthy aspects. Packaging: The packaging looks nice and appealing, though it’s made of plastic.The product has received a good EWG rating, which is a significant plus since finding shave creams with clean ingredients can be challenging. This makes it a good value for money considering its emphasis on clean and safe ingredients. I can’t comment on the lather, scent, or overall shaving experience as I haven’t used it myself, but the clean ingredient list is definitely a positive feature.

Nice and moisturizing! A bit creamy and ultimately not as effective as my generic shave cream but I appreciate that this probably has "healthier" ingredients. The value for product is also steep for me here though so likely not a repurchase

I typically shave in the shower, and this cream is fairly ineffective in that environment. I did like how soft and supple the skin is, but would rather use this over a sink. The shower just dilutes it too much.The scent is very pleasant and the shave experience is very good.

This has a nice subtle, refreshing scent and it creates a super smooth shave. It makes my skin feel smooth and hydrated. Very nice quality and it's organic.

The Jackfir The Classic Shave Cream is a nice shaving cream that is actually a shaving cream consistency and not a gel or foam. The cream the thick and does not run after applied to you face. It has a light scent to it that it neither off putting or attractive.The cream pairs nicely with a sharp razor and it does leave the skin nice and smooth. The cream washes off easily and does not leave a residue.The only con I have about the product is that I've noticed I need to vigorously rinse my razor to clean it of excess cream. The cream tends to get stuck in crevasses especially around the straight edger part of the razor. However this is not enough of a problem to take away a star.

The Jackfir Classic Shave Cream for Men is a great product! The product has a great scent and a similar constancy to a 90's skincare product when applied. I am a woman who likes to try the guy’s products! I have found that many of the razors and creams for men work better for my sensitive skin. This cream is no different. The Classic Shave Cream feels soft when applying and provides for a nice smooth shave. After shaving, my skin felt refreshed and left a smooth feeling. I would recommend this product but do realize it is a bit expensive for what it is, which is why I removed a star.

Produces rich lather and lubricates the shaver well. Pleasant smell. However, the thick foam is a bit drying and can clog the gaps between the razor blades, requiring me to put in some effort to clean the razor afterwards.Pricey at $36 per tube

Silky smooth shave... but man it's pricey! I'm a female and these are my favorite types of shave creams to use to shave my legs. I'll take the creams and butters in a tube, over the shaving cream in a can any day! It goes on very nicely and and feels soooo silky when you're using it. It is a little on the thinner side since it's a cream and not a butter. I was able to get a nice smooth shave without any knicks! The bottle is a nice size, but I don't feel like it lasts any longer than the smaller tube that I get from a shave club. It does smell good and isn't too manly for me. I have somewhat sensitive skin in the fall and winter and didn't have any irritation or excessive drying out after using it - so that's a huge plus for me! I am gonna take off one star because I do feel like it is very high priced. If the tube lasted a little longer, I definitely get 5 stars!

There isn't a whole lot to say about this other than it's not as much foam as you might thick for shaving cream, but after applying and doing a quick trim it definitely does do the job. Since its not as much foam it comes out of the package like a paste more than shaving cream which allows you to use less and save more of it for later.There is a slight scent to it but to me I would say it's more like a light aftershave than anything significant or overwhelming. Just a little sliver does the trick with a little hot water and you're all set to go. As someone that tends to have a thick beard, this works just great and I have no complaints.

Price at review: $36Used this for a shave. Worked well.I’m Asian so can’t say I have alot of hair to shave but it’s fairly coarse. I didn’t use a lot (slightly less than a nickel size) but was able to get enough on to create a thin moisturizing layer that allows for a smooth shave. Used a 3 bladed razor.Scent is not bad. And skin feels smooth and didn’t use any aftershave.At $36, I think I’ll prob resort back to basic shave cream tho.

I’m usually worried about these plant-based products because they tend to have an offputting scent, but the shaving cream actually worked out pretty well. I’ve done a few shades with it already, and don’t have any unsightly bumps, and found that it did moisturize the skin appropriately for shaving. Would recommend

Average shave cream with a nice scent. It works well but doesn't foam much. It does keep your skin smooth and soft but no more or less than others. It is also more on the pricey side. That said it has a good list of ingredients and appears to be good quality.
