    Description

Three exceptional copper saucepans. Endless possibilities in the kitchen.

From gently melting butter to preparing delicate reductions and simmering homemade sauces, the Sertodo Copper Saucepan Trio brings professional-level heat control and timeless craftsmanship to everyday cooking.

This 6-piece handcrafted copper cookware set includes three graduated saucepans, each with its own matching copper lid. Made from heavy-gauge solid copper with traditional tin-lined interiors, every piece is designed for responsive cooking, lasting performance, and a beautiful presentation.

Three Copper Saucepans for Every Culinary Task

Whether you're preparing a small finishing sauce or a generous batch of homemade marinara, this coordinated cookware collection gives you the right size for the occasion.

Petite French Butter Pot — 1.5 Cups

The smallest member of the trio is perfect for melting butter, warming maple syrup, preparing glazes, and gently heating small portions. Its compact proportions make it particularly useful for delicate preparations that benefit from careful temperature control.

Classic Copper Saucepan — 1.5 Quarts

A versatile everyday essential for savory sauces, reductions, custards, grains, and small-batch cooking. The responsive copper construction allows you to adjust temperatures quickly when preparing recipes that require close attention.

Large Copper Saucepan — 2.5 Quarts

Ideal for simmering soups, preparing pasta sauces, cooking grains, and blanching vegetables. Its generous capacity makes it an excellent companion for family meals and more ambitious culinary projects.

Superior Heat Control With Solid Copper

Copper is prized by professional chefs and home cooks for its exceptional thermal conductivity. It heats quickly, distributes warmth evenly, and responds rapidly to temperature adjustments, providing greater control over delicate recipes.

Each saucepan is constructed from 2 mm heavy-gauge copper with a traditional hot-tinned interior. The tin lining creates a naturally low-stick cooking surface without a synthetic nonstick coating, making it especially well suited for controlled, low-to-medium-heat cooking.

    Thoughtful Details, Traditional Craftsmanship

Hand-hammered by skilled artisans in Michoacán, Mexico, the Copper Saucepan Trio brings together traditional metalworking techniques and Sertodo's distinctive functional design.

    • Hand-Hammered Solid Copper: Durable construction with a beautifully textured, polished finish.
    • Traditional Tin Lining: A naturally smooth cooking surface suited to sauces and delicate preparations.
    • Patented Stainless Steel Handles: Ergonomic design that also functions as a convenient utensil or lid rest.
    • Matching Copper Lids: A coordinating lid for every saucepan.
    • Heirloom Craftsmanship: Built for years of everyday cooking and backed by Sertodo's lifetime workmanship guarantee.

A Timeless Addition to the Kitchen

As beautiful displayed on an open shelf or hanging pot rack as it is practical on the stove, this trio brings warmth and character to the kitchen. Its copper exterior naturally develops a rich patina over time, reflecting the history of each piece.

Thoughtfully crafted for cooks who appreciate beautiful materials and purposeful design, the Sertodo Copper Saucepan Trio also makes an exceptional housewarming, wedding, or culinary gift.

Set Includes: Three solid copper saucepans in 1.5-cup, 1.5-quart, and 2.5-quart capacities, each with a matching lid. Six total pieces.

Cookware care: Tin-lined interiors should not exceed 425°F. Not directly compatible with induction cooktops without an appropriate adapter.

    How to use

    1. Before first use, wash each saucepan and lid with warm water, mild dish soap, and a soft sponge. Rinse and dry thoroughly.

    2. Select the saucepan that best suits the quantity and type of food being prepared.

    3. Add butter, oil, water, sauce, or another cooking liquid before heating.

    4. Use low to medium heat as appropriate. Copper heats rapidly and typically requires less preheating than other cookware.

    5. Adjust the burner temperature as needed while stirring or simmering.

    6. Use wooden or silicone utensils to help preserve the tin-lined interior.

    7. Use the matching lid when a covered cooking process is desired.

    8. Allow the saucepan to cool before cleaning.

Important: Never preheat an empty tin-lined copper saucepan over high heat. Do not allow the cooking surface to exceed 425°F. Use oven mitts or appropriate protection when handling hot cookware.

    Care Instructions

    Daily Cleaning

    • Hand wash with warm water and mild dish soap.
    • Use a soft sponge or natural-bristle brush.
    • For stuck-on food, soak with warm water or gently warm water inside the saucepan to loosen residue.
    • Rinse thoroughly and dry immediately with a soft cloth.
    • Do not place in the dishwasher.

    Preserving the Tin Lining

    • Avoid metal utensils and abrasive scrubbers.
    • Do not use steel wool or scouring pads.
    • Cook with adequate liquid or cooking fat to prevent the lining from overheating.
    • Never exceed 425°F.
    • The tin interior may darken naturally with use; this is normal.
    • Re-tinning may eventually be necessary if substantial copper becomes exposed through the cooking surface.

    Copper Exterior

    • Copper naturally develops a patina over time.
    • To maintain a polished appearance, clean the exterior with a copper-specific polish following the manufacturer's instructions.
    • Avoid abrasive cleaning products.
    • Keep copper polishing compounds away from the tin-lined interior.
    • Dry thoroughly to minimize water spotting.

    Storage

    • Store cookware completely dry.
    • When stacking, place a soft cloth between pieces to help prevent scratches.

    Shipping details

    What is processing time?

Processing time is the period between placing your order and the package being handed to the shipping carrier.

Most orders are processed within 2–5 business days, Monday–Friday excluding holidays.

During this time, your item may be picked, prepared, produced, finished, assembled, personalized, packed, or otherwise made ready for shipment.

Shipping time does not include processing time. Carrier transit begins after processing is complete and the package has been accepted for shipment.

Where does my order ship from?

My American Goods® uses a hybrid fulfillment model.

    • Some products are stocked and shipped directly by My American Goods.
    • Other products ship directly from the independent American brand or maker.

This allows us to offer a much broader selection of American-made products while supporting the independent businesses that make them.

Why might my order arrive in multiple packages?

Products in the same order may ship from different fulfillment locations.

    As a result, items may:

    • Ship on different days
    • Arrive in separate packages
    • Have different tracking numbers
    • Use different shipping carriers or services

Receiving one package does not necessarily mean the rest of your order is missing.

    How are shipping rates calculated?

Because products may ship from different makers and fulfillment locations, shipping rates can vary by product or brand.

    • Some products or brands qualify for free shipping above a specific threshold.
    • Other products may use flat-rate or carrier-calculated shipping.
    • Products shipping from separate locations may generate separate shipping charges.

The applicable shipping cost is shown before your order is completed.

    When will I receive tracking?

Tracking information is emailed once your item has been prepared and shipped.

For handmade, made-to-order, pre-order, or specialty products, tracking may not be available until the applicable preparation or production period is complete.

If the expected processing period for your item has passed and you have not received a shipping update, please contact us.

    Carrier delays & missing packages

After a package has been accepted by USPS, UPS, FedEx, or another shipping carrier, transit may be affected by weather, holidays, peak-volume periods, transportation disruptions, or other carrier conditions outside our control.

Shipping and delivery timelines are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise.

If tracking shows Delivered but you cannot locate the package, check:

    • Household members
    • Neighbors
    • Porches, side doors, garages, and other delivery areas
    • Parcel lockers or building mailrooms

Carrier scans can occasionally appear shortly before final delivery. If the package still cannot be located, we can assist with a carrier investigation.

    Shipping address accuracy

Please review your shipping address carefully before completing your order.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.

Packages returned because of an incorrect, incomplete, or undeliverable address may require additional shipping charges before they can be sent again.

Where does My American Goods ship?

My American Goods® currently ships within the United States only.

This page is a plain-language summary. Product-specific shipping information shown on the product page applies to that item. The Story behind Sertodo

Sertodo Copper was founded by Jonathan Beall, whose journey began in 1997 selling handcrafted copper throughout the United States from the back of his truck, affectionately named El Macho. His path led him to Santa Clara del Cobre in the Sierra Madre Occidental of Michoacán, where he apprenticed for two years under Maestro Maximo and Maestro Chema, learning a copper-working tradition that spans more than 1,000 years.

After completing his apprenticeship, Jonathan partnered with Maximo’s eldest son, Martin, to build a workshop rooted in respect for craft, family, and heritage. What started as a simple dirt-floor, two-person space has grown into a thriving copper studio — but the commitment to traditional craftsmanship, integrity, and community remains unchanged.

We love Sertodo because it represents true artisan lineage: heritage techniques preserved through apprenticeship, relationships built on trust, and copperware made with purpose and pride — exactly the kind of story and substance that belongs at My American Goods.
