I am on my third jar and it has a refreshing scent compared to most facial tallows that smell like your applying beef anll over your face. It also has many other oils that penetrate the skin like blue Tansy and Arizona Golden jojoba oil. Also NO GMO!! I apply after a shower and then do my make up. It only takes a small amount, so the product last longer. Your skin feels softer and appears softer. They also have men’s tallow and it smells like vanilla and sandalwood. A touch of patchouli in it . If you have a significant other with a beard, it works well with that, it makes the beard smell lots better.

I absolutely love the sweet smell of this face balm, especially compared to other tallow scents. To me, it smells very fresh which is so hard to come by for a product that is so smooth and hydrating!! I used it to replace my moisturizer and my skin has cleared up drastically. I feel like it pushed me in the direction of pursuing a healthier, more natural lifestyle and I couldn’t be more grateful. It’s not heavy on my face and clears up any dryness without causing me to breakout, something I’ve never had a skincare product be able to do for me. This smells awful. There’s no way to get around it. The smell is overwhelming of chemicals. It’s like a crayon smell gone horribly wrong.It’s extremely greasy but leaves a nice dewy glow on your face. Overall I am a huge fan of the dewy glow just not the scent. I think it’s a bit of overkill with the essential oils.I only deducted one star because if you can stomach the fragrance it’s a splendid dewy glow!

This tallow balm comes is the cutest glass jar! It's really thick and heavy duty, and, though I probably wont use it much on my face ,other than for chapped lips, and maybe if I get a rash or something, it's excellent on knees, elbows, and feet! So emollient and protective! No scent either. It's really as multipurpose product.

This Tallow Face Balm works well, but I'm not a fan of the smell. If it smelled better I would give it 5 stars.

Excited to finally try tallow balm and I love it. It really moisturizes my skin and gives it that korean dewy glowy look. It's funny because 10 years ago people would say your face looks greasy but know people want this look haha. Anyway, this moisturizes way better than any other face lotion I used. Been using it for over a month and I have not experienced any break out in acne as well. To me the smell does not bother me at all. It has a slight minty smell but you have to understand tallow is beef fat. Like if you grilled a steak and took all that oil after and rubbed it over your body. Sounds gross but it's what people have used before all this plant based junk came out.

Its very moisturizing. It has a greasy feel to it for sure, but thats what I expected with tallow. What did throw me off is the smell, I didnt find it to be super gross but I also didnt enjoy it. Its small but a little product goes a long way. Overall its a good moisturizer, Ill take organic okay smelling moisturizer to one filled with chemicals.

No offense, but it wasn't my vibe. My diet is pretty plant-based and I love cows. How could beef tallow not wreck my skin?Recently several friends have mentioned they are fans of tallow balms. I've seen their positive experiences. So, I decided to sample this Tallow Face Balm from Darlin'. After all, if it was good enough for my beautiful Great Granny, it's worth a try. The balm has texture somewhere between an ointment and a cream. It is packed with great ingredients like prickly pear seed, jojoba, and blue tansy oils. I began using it for my healthcare worker's beaten-up hands. It is very soothing and absorbs quickly. I've just started using it in my facial skincare routine every evening. I have sensitive skin and usually stick to a serum and hyaluronic acid products. So far, my skin -especially my neck- feels bouncy and moisturized. I haven't experienced any redness or breakouts. It may be a bit heavy for me in warm weather, but this might just be the key to combatting winter cold and forced air heating.

Finally! A beef tallow option that is scented! I love this scent, it’s pleasant but not overwhelming. I love the way it leaves my skin feeling but the unscented options still have just enough smell to remind me what it is lol. This is perfect. Just enough-but not too much.

I’ve always wanted to try tallow—so happy to get to try this product. It’s a nice light blue color, and it smells good, which I am so grateful for because I was concerned.It’s very moisturizing, but a little much for daytime use (in my opinion), so I reserve it for night. When I first got it, I tried it on a very dry patch of skin on my ankle—I applied it 1–2 times daily for about a week, and it did improve (nothing else has made a difference—even a product made for very dry skin).I dig this product, and it definitely moisturizes well.

This is a very nice tallow product. The only thing that I couldn't get around was the smell. It's very medicinal and a hint of something else that I can't really put my finger on. But I just don't care for it.Other than that, it's amazing. I mean this stuff works. I've been using it on my feet and some really dry patches on my elbows and it's been unbelievable how much my skin has changed. I did try it on my face at first, and it did do a great job. But due to the smell I had to stop using it anywhere near my face.I recommend it for it's effective softening and it's natural ingredients. But I had to knock it down a star for the smell.

I ordered this Darlin' Skincare Tallow Face Balm to help moisturize my face, as it's been getting drier with age.This face balm is really moisturizing! It does have a greasy feel, and leaves a greasy look on my skin - this isn't the look I'd wear out and about. However, I've been putting it on in the evenings, awhile before bed to give it time to soak in, and that seems to be working for my skin.The balm does have a scent, and while I don't love it, I don't find it unpleasant or overpowering, either.

My skin felt so soft after using this once. I used it as the very last step of my skincare, after toner, serum, and moisturizer as a way to seal it all in. It worked wonderfully when applied this way. It does make my skin look very shiny, which I am not a fan of. Maybe I used too much. Additionally, it has somewhat of a minty-herbal scent to it that I don't mind.The only thing that bothered me about this product was how some of it leaked during shipping. The product got melty and loosened the lid on the product. I noticed the product was not wrapped nor did it have a sticker to keep the lid from turning during shipping.

The Darlin' Skincare Tallow Face Balm Moisturizer does have a unique odor to it, but it's not bad. I would say it smells like an outdoor ocean type scent, but not in the perfumery way. More like a chemical ocean scent if that makes sense to anyone but me. Anyway, the product itself leaves your skin feeling so darn smooth, you would swear that you were wearing butter on your face. I cannot attest to its effects on reducing acne as I don't have any, but I can understand how it would because this product leaves your skin looking healthy and bright.

When I opened up the container, I was not expecting the balm to be blue, as I had not looked at the ingredients before opening. However, the blue colored balm is absolutely stunning and smells divine as well. The ingredients are all super clean and no weird chemical names. I love that it has neroli essential oil which I've heard is supposed to be great for the skin. Since this is tallow, it does go on a bit greasy, especially if you use more than needed. I prefer using tallow at night so that it all soaks into my skin as I'm sleeping. I wake up after using this and my skin is hydrated and moisturized. I've tried quite a few tallow based moisturizers and this is high on my list of favorites.
