Tallow creams are all the rage now, and I think I understand it! This cream comes in a cute, sealed, rustic box. The jar and label themselves aren't fancy, but I appreciate that the jar is also sealed and tamperproof.The cream itself looks like whipped cream, so it's whipped indeed! A little of it can spread over a wide area. This tallow is surprisingly lightweight. While it doesn't absorb fully, it's not greasy and doesn't leave a heavy film. Also, never underestimate the scent of tea tree because you can really smell it in this cream during the application, but it does get better after a while.It spreads easily, isn't too heavy, and leaves skin very soft. The only downside is that it's kind of smelly, but if you can bear with that, tea tree does have great benefits for the skin. Overall, I'd say it's a great tallow!

The Lady May Tallow Whipped Face and Body Moisturizer is one of many products from this company who offer a variety of Beef Tallow products that are free from preservatives and parabens, and their all natural ingredients are so gentle that even babies can use these products. This really rich and creamy face and body whipped tallow also contains vitamins A, D, E and K. I just recently started to use the Lady May Tallow Whipped skin products and they are absolutely amazing. They make my face and body feel so soft and silky for hours, and this is a great product to apply during the winter months when the cold takes a toll on my skin. The consistency feels like mousse, and melts into my skin quickly without my skin feeling sticky or oily. It's light and airy consistency makes it a great lotion after getting out of the shower. This particular product from lady May contains an Eucalyptus tea tree oil blend that provides a light scent. I, personally, don't mind using this on my face and body, but some might prefer their unscented whipped tallow. This product comes in a very generous jar size of 9 fluid ounces at a very reasonable price. A ittle goes a long way, and once you try it, you will become hooked on the soft and soothing feeling it provides your skin. Perfect for those with sensitive skin issues!

Living in the high desert, the air is dry, which dries out my skin. I use this tallow to help fight the dryness and it does a great job. It helps to keep my face moisturized and has a pleasant aroma. The cream is whipped, so it's light and goes on your skin easily. It doesn't have to be rubbed in, like other heavy creams. I'm very happy with it.

I had previously bought the unscented variety of this brand, as I don't tend to like scented lotions, and loved it, so I decided to try a scented version. This tallow has a very nice and subtle smell that isn't overpowering or perfumey. It's very fluffy and a little bit goes a long way. It does take a while to absorb and feels a bit greasy for a while but once it does absorb it leaves my skin feeling very soft. I've discovered using it right after a hot shower helps it to absorb quicker. I love that it's got so few ingredients and it feels very high quality. There's no beefy smell at all like some homemade tallows I've tried. My skin feels well hydrated and supple with a healthy glow. I personally love the smell of tea tree and eucalyptus so having both in one lotion is awesome. It honestly feels like the best medicine for dry skin!

This is one of the few vine products that I actually love and am surprised by the quality! I am a fan of all natural, grass-fed tallow skincare products and this is not my first rodeo with tallow products.What surprised me most and what I especially love is the actual “whipped” texture! I’ve tried several other tallow lotions that were “whipped” but do not feel whipped. The initial texture feels like airy, spongy, pillowy, soft whip cream! Rub it between your hands and it easily applies. I love love the way it feels and applies. It’s an oil so it is a bit greasy at first but quickly melts and absorbs into your skin for a nice dewy finish. My clothes and sheets do not have any oil stains transferred from my skin. My kiddos with eczema actually don’t mind using this lotion!It initially has a nice strong eucalyptus and tea tree scent, which dissipates after about 5 minutes into a very light scent that doesn’t linger long. If you don’t like tea tree or eucalyptus scents, then don’t get this scent and go with unscented. I seriously will order more when I run out, because I truly love the way it applies, feels, and leaves my skin so moisturized! Great ingredients and good for you skin! It also comes in a generous 9 oz glass bottle and it’s nicely priced. Perfect for these dry, cold, winters here in the Midwest! Highly recommend you give this a try!

This is not the first product we have bought from this company. We have their vanilla and a bunch of the unscented, and we keep coming back for more. I know tallow as a skin care product can be controversial but I figure if you have come this far you are probably already sold on the idea that tallow is best for many reasons. Lady May just happens to be our favorite. It doesn’t cost an arm and a leg, it melts right into your sink and moisturizes without leaving greasy residue. As a man I appreciate the way the tea tree and eucalyptus smells, my wife isn’t stealing this one from me it stays at my desk.Also a note that we use this and their unscented tallow for tattoo aftercare and maintenance, and it helps soften my barbell gym callouses.

The lady may tallow whipped lotion is very, very thick. It has a minty scent with tea tree and eucalyptus added. It's 9oz and honestly I'm noticing a little goes a long way. I like the tea tree oil as it is a natural detoxifier.It's not overwhelming on the scent but you should be careful with applying to face and sensitive areas. This one is a product I would highly recommend.

This has to be the best tallow cream I have used!! As with any tallow cream you are going to have some greasiness. I just don’t think it can be avoided however this one isn’t too terrible.What I like the most is that it is truly a whipped tallow. It’s so incredibly fluffy! It’s light and airy and doesn’t feel super thick or unbearable on my skin.It moisturizes well! I don’t need a lot for it so it’s job. The scent is amazing! Love that hint of eucalyptus and tea tree without it being overpowering.The packaging and bottle is really nice. I definitely recommend if you want a lighter less heavy tallow. Natural ingredients as well! And USA made!

I’ve tried a number of tallow creams and I this one has the dreamiest texture. The whipped cream is very fluffy and feels cloud like. The scent reminds me of a popular chest rub but it’s definitely not unpleasant. It’s actually pretty invigorating and I really loved using this on my feet to get a nice energizing feeling. The cream is very moisturizing but I do feel like it takes a bit more time to absorb than other creams I’ve used. Using it on my feet and hands I just spent a little more time rubbing I the cream and it worked great. I also found that the moisturizing lasted through multiple hand washings.

Nice whipped Tallow, great for helping skin from being dry, especially in the winter. This one has a scent that is more tea tree than eucalyptus, which to me is more medicinal smelling, but I’m okay with that. Tea tree oil is great for the skin and can help to treat psoriasis and dry skin issues, which in the winter is something that happens to me. This is priced well too. Definitely a bargain.

WOW, THIS IS REALLY NICE!!!First time using anything tallow but oh my! When you open it, it LOOKS and FEELS like whipped butter cream. And it blends sooooo smooth on the skin! I was afraid of smelling like food or beef but all you can smell is the eucalyptus oil.THIS IS AMAZING! Feels luxurious and high end!! Great value for money!! Superb hydration for really dry skin. Great size too so it will last a while.

I bought this whipped tallow cream for my mom, who works in the food industry for her job, and works in the food industry at our home. Needless to say, her hands go through things. She found this to be great, as the major thing she dislikes about lotion is that all water-based ones just run off after touching water.Pros:1. Great texture, rubs on easily2. Creates a great barrier3. My mom LOVES the eucalyptus scent, which is quite strong in this case4. Although I wouldn't call it moisturizing in and of itself, it definitely allows your body's natural moisture not be stripped away so quickly5. A little bit goes a long wayCons:1. This is so light and fluffy. It absorbs quickly which I appreciated because the first time I tried it was before doing my make up on top. I didn’t need very much which I also like because that plus the larger container size means it will last a bit. I haven’t broken out from it either. The fragrance is also light but lovely.

I own so many Lady May products at this point, I feel like I could run my own store. Of all of the scented tallow creams that I have, this may be my least favorite, but that's only because tea tree oil is so highly scented. If you've ever smelled it, you'd know. As is always the case with Lady May's line, this smells like real essential oils and not synthetic fragrance.Still, for someone who doesn't mind, or even enjoys the scent, this whipped cream is quite lovely. The texture is just flawlessly fluffy, and it's like the most luxurious whipped buttercream frosting, except you get to slather this all over your body. It sinks in fairly quickly, though as I've said before, these kinds of fat-based creams are really best for locking in moisture and protecting your skin barrier from water loss, rather than adding moisture into the skin. So, get out of the shower and spread this stuff on! I tend to apply this, let it really warm to my skin for a minute or two, and then rub it in some more. At that point, it really spreads well and covers more surface area.The glass container helps to ensure that no weird chemicals are leeching into the product, and given how large the jar is and how long it'll likely last you, you really want it in an inert container.The value on the 9 oz. jar is nowhere near as good as the 24 oz. jar. It can be hard to commit to so much product, but if you've already jumped on the tallow bandwagon and know that you'll enjoy the texture, you'll get almost 3x more for about $10 extra - totally worth it, in my opinion.
