This Jack Henry Body Wash is probably the best smelling body wash I have ever used! It has an amazing botanical scent, lathers incredibly well, and is just all around great.For anyone with sensitive skin, I would advise checking the ingredients closely. I found that this did not react well with my psoriasis using it daily. After cutting back on how often I used it, it has been fine. For that reason I need to give it 4 stars, for anyone with normal skin this may well be a 5 star product!

Made in California, this body wash has everything I look for in a skin cleansing product. While typically marketed toward men, I found the scent to be appealing and gender neutral with lovely botanical and forest notes. The company uses natural oils-- a big plus for those of us avoiding chemical perfumes. The packaging is nice and makes for a perfect gift. The elegant and clean design offers an easy-to-use pump. The body wash is thick and lathers well and leaves a nice fragrance. Most importantly, it comes without harmful parabens and sulfates and scores well with the health app I use to check all my products. Highly recommend as a gift or for when you want to treat yourself to a spa experience. The aroma and texture definitely conjure thoughts of being in an outdoor shower in a pristine forest.

My husband really liked this body wash because it not only had a fresh botanical manly scent, but it felt hydrating on his skin and produced a rich lather. The scent is not overpowering but it still lingered several hours later. Very impressive long list of natural ingredients that thoroughly cleanses and maintains healthy skin. The packaging is attractive and this is a product that would make a great gift for any man in your life.

I have been trying to get the husband to ditch his green Celtic soap for years now, and hoped that this Hinoki Cypress Body Wash by Jack Henry would do the trick.This body wash smells pretty great. It reminds me of hiking through an evergreen forest when the pine sap starts running, the scent is sharp and bright, and it does come from added fragrance. The other thing that both husband and I liked, is how well this cleanser lathers up, making foam that is both dense and plentiful, plus it rinses easily as well. Because it contains exfoliating ingredients like salicylic acid and mandelic acid, it definitely leaves skin feeling softer, but not necessarily moisturized.This body wash does contain centella asiatica and black tea ferment for moisturizing / softening but I don't think there's enough to offset the drying effects of the exfoliating ingredients. Also, one of the surfactants, sodium C14-16 olefin, is pretty mild as surfactants go, but can be drying. For me it leaves my already dry skin too parched, but the husband likes it very much for daily use.Another thing I appreciate about this body wash is that it doesn't contain any parabens, PEGs, or silicones, not even harsh sulfates or preservatives. It's an excellent formulation but I think this body wash would work best for people with oily to normal skin. Currently it is selling for $38 for a large 13.5 oz bottle, and I think that is a great price for a product with a clean formula that works so well.

It has a very unique and expensive scent. The scent is definitely not feminine but I wouldn't call it masculine either; it just smells expensive. It lathers well and cleanses well and I really like that it contains salicylic acid. It is a bigger bottle (13.5 fl oz) with a pump. Made in California.

Smells fresh but not overpowering, for a more floral scent than manly, while also not smelling feminine. But it’s not the most hydrating. I have really dry skin and it doesn’t make it worse but it doesn’t hydrate as well as other body washes I use for my dry skin. Leaves skin soft but still a tad bit dry. Does lather well and cleans well too. It’s a bit on the expensive side and would feel more valise if it did have more of a hydrating effect.

Smells like a nice cologne but rinses clean with no residue. The scent disappears leaving you to your own favorite scent. Non drying. Large bottle too.

I got this Jack Henry Body Wash – Hydrating & pH-Balanced Cleanser with Salicylic Acid & Aloe Vera – Gently Exfoliates, Softens & Refreshes Skin for my husband, and boy, am I glad I did.First of all, he loves it. It lathers up very well and leaves his skin very clean. It doesn't moisturize a ton, but the lather is creamy and cleans well. And he really enjoys the scent--and I LOVE the scent! It lingers for hours on his skin. It's a light, fairly masculine (I don't think it's exactly gender-neutral. To me, it skews traditionally masculine, with a woody cypress) scent, with natural ingredients and a pleasant aroma.Highly recommended.

This is high-class body wash right here! Doesn't have that typical soap smell at all. Instead this is more reminiscent of a high end cologne. In fact, I usually feel like I don't even need to use cologne after getting out of the shower with this stuff smelling so awesome. I would absolutely recommend as this is the body wash you might expect to find in a five star hotel or something.

I think the scent is the big winner with this body wash. It is sharp and spicy, a bit stronger than many of my other products, and lingers while you are using it. It's not perfumey at all, which is something I hate. I found it to be a really pleasant, invigorating experience. In addition, the body wash lathers up really well and leaves my skin feeling soft and clean. The bottle is black and sophisticated and looks unobtrusive in my tub. The pump seems well made and works well.

Omg, this is the most amazing body wash! The scent is fresh and lasts for hours. A little goes a very long way. I love that it exfoliates without harsh ingredients and it’s vegan and sulfate free too.

This body wash is an excellent choice for men. It has an intriguing but light masculine scent. The scent lingers both in the air and on the skin—it’s not overpowering but still noticeable.It lathers very well and cleans effectively. It is slick and spreads well over the skin. It stays on the skin, so it takes a while to rinse off. It doesn't seem to dry the skin if you rinse off well. Overall, I consider this to be a high-quality body wash, although it is expensive for everyday use.

This body wash cleaned well and didn't give my skin an ashy post shower feeling which is good. The scent was also pretty nice. I don't really know how to describe it, which is a problem since that's what most people would want to know from the review.I can say this though. My first sniff was "This is really really nice" and my son really liked it too. The others in my family were m'eh. It's not a musky "manly" smell of deep spiced cologne, but more subtle and lighter scent.

My favorite scent by far. Very fresh and clean. Does a great job hydrating and lasts all day. Recommended.

I am reviewing: Jack Henry Body WashWhen I received this and took a sniff, I was a little put off. Still, I gave it a chance and actually used it myself before turning it over to my husband. TBH, the scent is much better in use than it is in the bottle. It fills the shower with a woodsy, spicy forest kind of scent that one might find in a shower bomb. It lathers exceptionally well and leaves the skin clean, without being dry, and the scent lingers lightly.

This body wash s is pretty good, if you like earthy pine scents. The scent is prominent.The wash makes my skin feel fresh, and washes off without residue, oiliness or dryness.

Jack Henry Body Wash has a great scent that reminds me of walking in a forest. The body wash did leave my skin feeling a little tight so I'd definitely plan on using a moisturizer after using it. The body wash produces a very nice lather and certainly did a fine job of cleaning my skin. The bottle has a classy look which makes me feel like my shower is just a tiny bit more elegant.

I got this for my teens and they really like this. It cleans and lathers well and smells manly. I think it smells like Christmas trees, but they really like it.

This Jack Henry Body Wash comes nicely boxed at a good size of 13.5 fl. oz with a pump style. This body wash can easily be used by either **** as it has a refreshing outdoor woodsy scent. I found the soap to foam up to a good lather. It didn't leave my skin feeling tight or dry but only soft and very clean. Probably one of the better high-end body washes I have used.

This Jack Henry body wash smells very earthy and musky. The listing says it is unscented, but I received a scent called hinoki cypress. The gel has salicylic acid so it is great at exfoliating.

This is one of the best body washes I’ve used. This isn’t just for men. The scent is definitely unisex - it’s a light woody very upscale scent. It’s quite faint but intoxicating. The bottle is chic and the soap foams well. The ingredients in this are spectacular. They contain highly effective gentle exfoliants, along with calming centella (“cica”). My skin didn’t feel dried out and also felt very clean. It’s expensive but luxurious.
