Shear Revival began in 2013 in a small kitchen in Asbury Park, New Jersey, when founder Zachary West decided the grooming market was missing products that balanced real performance with more thoughtful formulation. As a stylist and barber with nearly two decades of experience, Zach was not developing products from a boardroom. He was drawing from years of conversations with clients and firsthand knowledge of how different hair types, textures, and routines actually behave.
