It has small to no shine, hair doesn’t look greasy + not that hard to scoop like everyone saysi have fine straight hair, and it works well for me

Trying a great hair product for fine hair after a while

I have a lot of fine, straight hair, and this worked really well for me. It gives a great matte finish without making my hair look greasy or overdone, and the hold is strong without feeling like cement.One of the biggest positives is that it actually washes out easily, which is not always the case with stronger hold products. I’m in Arizona, so I can’t really speak to how it handles humidity, but for dry weather and daily use, it’s been great.I’ll definitely be buying it again.

Un peu trop brillant

Works well in my thin/flat hair. Nice gritty texture without adding shine or making it look like I have a ton of product in. Only need a tiny bit of it so it’s probably going to last for some years. Is a little hard to wash out and sometimes just a little bit can stay in my hair and keep it textured for multiple days.

Genau was ich gesucht habe! Leider habe ich mittlerweile recht feines Haar und oben wird es auch schon was lichter. Ich benutze schon länger Clays aus dem Drogeriemarkt, hatte aber das Problem, dass die im Laufe des Tages „speckig“ werden und man schlicht ungepflegt aussieht. Mit diesem Clay passiert das nicht! Selbst wenn man damit zu Bett geht, sieht man am nächsten Tag auf dem Kopf zwar etwas wüst aus, aber nichts fettet hier. Auch bringt dieses Clay definitiv mehr Volumen auf den Kopf. Den Halt würde ich als leicht bis mittel beschreiben, allerdings ist das genau das, was ich auch will: keine Betonfrisur, man kann immer neu modellieren und es beschwert kein bisschen auf dem Kopf.

Ive been using this brand for over 6 years now and im honestly surprised I never wrote a review. I would recommend this brand for anyone thats looking for a quality pomade. Ive used several brands over the years and this is the only one that seems to hold well and have a nice matte finish

So I've been buying Hanz De Fuko claymation for several years now and it's been my go-to clay.. Well, they've been raising their prices, so I thought I'd go on reddit and check out what other people were saying. This brand among a few others popped up, so I decided to give it a try and I am pleasantly surprised.What I love about this clay is that it actually washes out with water. The hold IMO is pretty much just as good as Hanz De Fuko Claymation, except that Claymation leaves a residue and you need to use shampoo to completely wash it out.

1000% recommend the hold is crazy good, you don't need to apply a lot. The scent and overall quality are really high as well. With the hold lasting the whole day easily.

I bought this for my husband and he loves it. He has super thick and abundant black hair. It gives his hair the hold he wants.

I think this is a good product, it's just not perfect for me.To summarise: very dry gritty clay, quite tricky to apply to dry hair, good enough hold but it's heavy so will drop, amazing texture, decent endurance, washes out largely with water and fully with shampoo, leaves my hair feeling plump, thick and healthy.It's effective as a pre styler and post styler, but for post styling I usually have to finish off with another product to apply the more structured styles I go for.If you're going for neat classic styles e.g. side parts or pompadours I wouldn't recommend but it's a very good product nevertheless - much better for messy, flowy, natural styles.For me, this wouldn't be a product I would reliably trust when I am doing my hair for a special occasion - I've had some great hair days with this but equally days where it just doesn't work for me. This shouldn't take away from how good a product it is and I'd probably buy again as a bit of a 'wild card' to have in the pomade arsenal, but there are better, more user friendly hair clays out there.

Tal cual lo anuncian, fija bastante y no deja nada de brillo. Comparada con otras marcas (la de Moroccanoil), es mucho más seca y hay que frotar más para calentarla en las manos.Al ser tan seca el truco está en dejarte el pelo un pelin húmedo (te secas con la toalla un poco) y ya se aplica de forma perfecta, sin tirones, ni perder pelos con el peine.La uso en casa ya que tengo que trabajarla un pelin más (nada exagerado), pero para el gimnasio por ejemplo que ando con más prisa uso otras un poco más maleables.Me la suelo aplicar al mediodía, puedo dormir con ella y a la mañana siguiente mojandome un poco el pelo la reactivo sin tener que echar más producto. En la al almohada ni rastro de manchas, ni nada.El olor muy agradable, por cierto. La volvería a comprar.

Reasonable hold for your style. Smells pleasant. Glass container is a bit heavy, if you want it in your toiletry bag on your travels. A bit pricey, but the product does work well

Product has a nice texture and fairly easy to apply but it must be worked into hands. I have fine hair and found that I needed to use a little more than other products. Hold is medium at best with a matte finish. Has a decent neutral smell. Not my favorite hair product but would purchase again if the price was right.

Best clay and i like the mate effect it

This is a great hair clay that has very good hold. It lasts a long time and keeps my hair in place all day. It also has a pleasant smell that isn't too powerful. One thing to note is that it is kind of difficult to get out of the jar at first, but after you've broken the surface it gets better. I would recommend this to everyone.

Meiner Meinung eine der besten UWB‘s auf dem Markt. Sie bändigt selbst meine dicken, krausen Haare, für die ich sonst ölbasierte Kaliber wie Fettkopp extra strong bzw. Schmiere knüppelhart brauche.Im Handling ist American Gardens einfacher, d.h. leicht einzubringen (ggf. mit etwas Haarwasser) und mit etwas Shampoo leicht auszuwaschen.

Ich bin insgesamt ziemlich zufrieden mit American Gardens. Der Duft ist angenehm dezent und die Performance im Haar wirklich stark – ordentliche Textur und guter Halt, der nicht zu steif wirkt.Ein kleiner Minuspunkt: Die Pomade kam bei mir ziemlich hart an. Ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob das so gewollt ist oder ob sie vielleicht etwas zu kalt gelagert wurde. Sobald man sie aber in den Händen verteilt, wird die Konsistenz super cremig und lässt sich gut einarbeiten.Beim Verteilen in trockenen Haaren kann sie allerdings leicht ziehen, daher empfehle ich, sie eher ins leicht feuchte Haar zu geben. Trotzdem ein sehr solides Produkt mit stylischem Look und natürlichem Finish. Ich würde es wieder kaufen – nur mit ein bisschen mehr Fingerspitzengefühl beim Stylen.

This stuff is absolutely stunning. Revolutionary even.I’ve suffered from scalp folliculitis for nearly 15 years and this is the only thing I can put on it that doesn’t cause a flare up. I’ve now cut my hair slightly longer for the first time and can manage it quite well with this. I also used the pomade which is a lot weaker and greasier feeling but still high quality and I suppose it depends on the look you’re after. Yes I’ve used stronger clays, it’s probably closer to your average brands medium hold, but it’s all natural and doesn’t irritate my scalp. One strange side effect of this is I wash my hair way less. I probably used to shampoo too often but with this my scalp feels really nourished. I find every week or so using some cerave as shampoo and using dr organic manuka honey conditioner is a winning combination for scalp health.

Smell is good, function was good. Hold, however, was a little lacking as I found it never seemed to last the full day. By the time the end of the day came, my hair would look much more flat than in the morning or afternoon.

This is what I have been looking for.In the bottle it's very hard and needs to be gouged out. Texture feels almost waxy and will need to be softened between your hands.Issue is that my hair is long enough that it needs a good amount of product to keep it in place, but I don't like how greasy it can look with other products. This product will still give your hair some shine, but it looks pretty natural.
