Order Cancellation Policy
My American Goods®
At My American Goods®, many orders are fulfilled quickly by our network of independent American makers and fulfillment partners. To give customers more flexibility while also protecting our makers from late cancellations, we offer a limited self-service cancellation window after checkout.
60-Minute Order Change & Cancellation Window
After placing an order, customers have a 60-minute window to make changes directly from their customer account or order confirmation page.
During this time, you may be able to:
- Cancel your order
- Edit your shipping address
- Edit items in your order
- Apply a discount code
- Make other available order updates before fulfillment begins
After the 60-Minute Window
After the 60-minute window has passed, your order may enter fulfillment and can no longer be changed or canceled.
Because My American Goods® works with many independent makers, orders may be sent to fulfillment partners automatically after this window closes. Once fulfillment has started, we may be unable to stop, edit, reroute, or cancel the order.
Address Changes
Customers are responsible for entering a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout.
If you notice an address mistake, please log into your customer account within 60 minutes of placing your order to update the shipping address before fulfillment begins.
After the 60-minute window, we cannot guarantee that address changes can be made. My American Goods® is not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect or incomplete address entered by the customer.
Discount Codes
If you forgot to apply a discount code at checkout, you may be able to add it from your customer account or order confirmation page within the 60-minute order edit window.
After the 60-minute window has passed, discount codes cannot be retroactively applied to completed orders.
Already Shipped Orders
Once an order has shipped, it cannot be canceled.
If the item is eligible for return, you may request a return after delivery through our Returns Portal and according to our Refunds & Returns Policy.
Made-to-Order, Custom, and Final Sale Items
Some custom, personalized, made-to-order, special-order, perishable, or final sale items may not be eligible for cancellation once production or fulfillment has begun.
If an item is marked final sale, custom, personalized, or made-to-order, cancellation availability may be limited even within the standard cancellation window.
Refunds for Canceled Orders
If your order is successfully canceled before fulfillment begins, your payment will be refunded to the original payment method.
Please allow your bank or payment provider time to process the refund. Processing times may vary depending on your financial institution.
