Lemon-Ginger Immune Toddy

I bought this Immune Toddy before an Europe trip. The taste is delicious! I'm always very adverse to this kind of brews, but this one was by far the best I've had. Cold or Hot tastes delicious!

Product arrived in good shape and on time. Inside the box are 10 individual packets, and I was expecting to see a tea bag inside, but it was a loose powder. I added some sugar and made a drink. Tasty! It's all natural, so it should be good for me.

Wooden Spoon Herbs' Lemon-Ginger Immune Toddy tastes fine. I've enclosed a picture of the ingredients list. The monk fruit is slightly too sweet, so I added a bit more water which made it better for me. Solid 4.

Comes exactly as shown, in a neat easy to dispense box of packets. The power is lightly sweet and tart, and I felt the slight heat from the ginger. It blended easily into my tea. I really like the concept, and see using it even in plain hot water, maybe with lemon.

This toddy powder dissolves okay in warm/hot water, but it does require some stirring. Even then, it doesn’t fully dissolve, leaving grounded ingredients settled at the bottom. That was a bit surprising, but terrible.The flavor is reminiscent of traditional Korean ginger tea with honey, which is lovely, but the lemon zest adds an unexpected twist. That part was a pleasant surprise! However, it’s a little too sweet for my taste, so I had to dilute it quite a bit. Using a 12 oz cup wasn't enough—I found that closer to 16 oz of water helped balance it out, though of course, sweetness is subjective.While the warmth from ginger and brightness from lemon make for a comforting toddy, the dissolving issue and sweetness level could be a letdown for some. I haven’t tried it with cold or room temperature water yet, but based on my experience, warm/hot water seems to be the best way to enjoy it.

We don't like to travel without natural health support but it can be inconvenient to try to take fresh ingredients or even tinctures or boil water for teas etc. This is a perfect solution! Can be put into got our cold drinks and no straining required. Good quality ingredients and is perfect to store in a purse or backpack.

I really like the flavor of this tea and would highly recommend it for those who would like a calming warm beverage on a cool evening before bed. I like also the portability of the packets and the ability to bring it on trips without having to bring a lot of extra implements. Just add hot water - how easy is that? The only thing that is slightly disappointing is that it does not all easily dissolve. Now, this is probably just laziness such that if you stirred long enough or vigorously enough - while maybe it is laziness, a little bit more dissolubility would help.

Bought this for my dad to have on hand after chemotherapy...never ended up using it, but I checked out the packets and ingredients. Solid blend with elderberry, zinc, and ginger, and I like that it's made from real herbs instead of a bunch of artificial junk. The single-serve packs are great for tossing in a bag, and it mixes up easily. Can’t speak to how it tastes, but it looks like a well-made product.

Although I eat a pretty healthy diet, when I feel something coming on or people around me are getting sick I double down on natural remedies. Plenty of citrus fruit, cut out all added sugar, take elderberry extract, and so forth.This lemon ginger drink fits right into that strategy. No funny ingredients - just natural and virtually all-organic goodness.It'll help me stay (or get) healthy and keep my energy levels up.At $2 a packet it's not inexpensive, but I think it's well worth it.I added it to only 8 ounces of (cold) water, but I think I'll use even less water next time since I prefer strong flavors.

I recently ordered this Wooden Spoon Herbs Lemon-Ginger Immune Toddy | Herbal Immunity Support | 10 Sachets - 1 Carton and it seems to be made of good quality ingredients.

I've yet to see a powdered tea mix like this one. It's nice not to have bags to steep or throw away. The price is a bit high for the 10 packets you get, but I would recommend trying it at least once, or as a gift item. There is honey and stevia mixed in here as well as some citric acid, salt, and silica that you won't find in a traditional tea bag, so if you like to have control over your sweetener and or you don't like the idea of preservatives in your tea this one is probably not for you.

Nice little tea. Light flavor and very enjoyable. Recommended.

anytime for cold

Each drink is individually wrapped which is convenient. The packaging is durable and water repellant which prevents any mess if the package became damaged in your bag. The powder mixes easily in hot water and smells like herbal tea. The taste is strong and herbal. It reminded me of fruity herbal tea. I don't care for fruit tea, so it was not my favorite but not unpleasant. My sore throat is gone today which is great.

This came at a good time because I came down with a cold a couple weeks after receiving it! It's a powder you mix with water; I used hot water just off the boil. Most of the powder dissolves but it will leave grit at the bottom, which isn't the most pleasant thing--it's hard to know whether these solids are an important part of the mix and you should drink them down as best you can? Or are they to be steeped and left at the bottom like tea leaves. The flavor's nice enough and the ingredients feel like a nice health boost. Crossing fingers they are part of my fight against this cold.

This is a review for Wooden Spoon Herbs Lemon-Ginger Immune Toddy10 Sachets.This tea states it is good for immunity. That may be so but to me it was very soothing. The minute I sat down with this tea every muscle in my body relaxed. I love that everything is premixed in this packet. After finihsing up a cup of tea there was a good amount of sediment. It wasn't sweet so it wasn't one of the sugars. I even left it overnight and it didn't dissolve. This did not make the tea bad but it would be nice to know what that was. including the sweetener. The herbs are powdered and there is a touch of sweetener. There is 1 gram of sugar in each tea bag and that would be monk Fruit extract and Stevia and honey powder.The herbs used are Acerola Juice (Vitamin C), Guava Leaves (Zinc), Sodium, Honey Powder, Organic Elderberry fruit extract, Organic Ginger extract, Organic, Echinacea extract, Organic Lemon Powder, Citric Acid, Silica, Pink Salt, Organic Monk Salt, Organic Lemon Flavor, stevia as Rebaudioside A.This Brand was founded by women and in particular 1 woman who was a devoted wild plant herbalist. The ingredients are lab tested and they are mostly organic.The only thing that is disappointing is the cost. It comes to about $2.00 a tea bag! That is pretty steep for my taste!{ no pun intended!!!! )

I tend to crave hot lemony teas when I am coming down with something and I can easily see myself craving this if I'm feeling under the weather. It says you can mix it with hot or cold water but I would much prefer hot water, especially if I'm not feeling good. I love that it has all natural ingredients and is made in the USA by a small business. It's very easy to use by simply mixing it with water. Perfect to have on hand for those times you aren't feeling the best!

It's great! Tasty, and an excellent mix of immune supportive ingredients. Favorites, like echinacea, elderberry, ginger and zinc are in this powder, and this powder makes a delicious hot beverage. I love the ingredients in this. Lots of familiar ingredients packed into toddy. The packets are convenient and it mixes easily in hot water. The directions say it can be mixed in hot or cold water, but I like my toddys warm. I wasn't familiar with the company, but I like how it's a natural ingredient brand. This is power punch toddy, but the flavor is not for me. It doesn't taste bad, just reminiscent of a under the weather type drink. I'm glad I found this though and happy to have it on hand.

Wife likes it. She says it is sweet and sour, but not too sweet.

WoW! I love this lemon-ginger toddy! When the product arrived yesterday with the mail, I was eager to give it a try, and I was so pleasantly surprised. It has such a wonderful aroma and taste. The price is a little high, but if you want to treat yourself to a delicious toddy/tea, it is worth the price. Also, the box/carton is so creative. I love how Wooden Spoon Herbs markets this product. Five Stars!
