Description
Sunflower Microgreen Seeds: Fresh Microgreens from Seed
Sunflower Microgreen Seeds — Sunflower microgreens are one of the most beloved crops in the microgreens world — their thick, meaty stems and large, satisfying cotyledons deliver a rich, nutty flavor reminiscent of sunflower seeds, with a hearty, satisfying texture that stands apart from more delicate microgreens. A valuable source of vitamins B, D, and E as well as essential fatty acids, they're as nutritionally impressive as they are delicious, perfect for adding substance and crunch to salads, sandwiches, wraps, and grain bowls.
Fresh Flavor, Grown at Home
Grow in trays using coconut coir or potting mix — soak sunflower seeds for 8–12 hours before planting to improve germination and uniformity. Use a blackout dome for the first few days to encourage strong, upright stem development.
Fast, Compact Growing for the Kitchen
Microgreens offer a compact way to grow fresh greens at home, with a short seed-to-harvest cycle and flavor that can be used across everyday meals.
Seeds only: fresh produce is not included.
How to use
Grow method: Tray growing; soak seeds 8–12 hours before planting. Seed amount per tray: 3–4 oz per 10"×20" tray. Expect germination in 2–4 days. Harvest in 10–14 days.
