This is an excellent organic option for cocoa nibs. Great aroma once you open the bag and fresh flavor. The wife loves adding these to her smoothies for a healthier flavor option than chocolate. I like using these for an alternative application, infusing some cocoa flavor into spirits, like bourbon. This is an excellent price for the amount of product you get (See pic with dollar bill), as well as the fact that it is organic.

These nibs are crisp, fresh and delicious. When people say chocolate is healthy for you, this is what they are talking about. Chocolate in its original form, untouched and without additives. I substitute them for chocolate chips when making energy snack bites. I also just snack on them plain when I am craving chocolate. They are bitter with a rich chocolate note. If you like very dark chocolate and/or enjoy eating a coffee bean or two, you will probably enjoy these nibs. With zero sugar, some fiber and a bit of calcium, iron and potassium, these make for a rather healthy snack. I would definitely recommend.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine fans, you'll know what I'm taking about... after that episode where Terry gets addicted to cacao nibs thinking they're not junk food (and gains a lot of weight), I had to try them! I was expecting little chips of decadent dark chocolate flavor.... well, it's not QUITE like that. There is zero sweetness, which leaves only a faint hint of what you know as "chocolate" - and mostly the bitter side of it. The texture is like biting into roughly ground coffee.Personally I don't think these are even remotely as snackable as Detectives Charles Boyle or Terry Jeffords made them out to be. But I've added them to smoothies and plan to use in baking to add hints of chocolate flavor (plus the healthy antioxidant properties).Just don't plan for this to be a standalone snack - it's "guilt-free" but compared to prepared chocolate, the enjoyment level, unfortunately, is commensurate with the guilt level.

These little nibs are delicious. I love them in my oatmeal and in my trail mix - they are dark chocolate, so if you like dark chocolate you will enjoy these. As they do taste great on their own, you know they also taste great when used in baking recipes. The resealable container is also a plus!

These Rawmio Organic Raw Peruvian Cacao Nibs are great for many uses. They are rich and bitter, as typical of cacao nibs. We like to toss a few onto breakfasts or desserts. They're crunchy, tasty, and nutrient rich. Recommend!!

I am not a fan of these organic cacao nibs. I tried them straight out of the bag and they are not enjoyable. They are bitter and left a long lasting unenjoyable flavor in my mouth. They are only good for cooking where unsweetened cacao is recommended. They are quality nibs and I believe they are good for cooking; but not for eating out of the bag or sprinkled on something like ice cream.

These are fresh, good-tasting cacao nibs. They're on par with other organic Peruvian cacao nibs I’ve tried. The flavor is rich and slightly bitter with a nice raw chocolate taste. They work well in smoothies, yogurt, or as a snack on their own.The sourcing is solid: organic, raw, vegan, fair trade, and kosher. That said, I’d like to see more transparency around lab testing, especially for metals and flavanol content. That kind of third-party data is very important with cacao products as chocolate.Overall – these are high-quality cacao nibs. I love sprinkling cacao nibs in coffee yoghurt, and until I tried this brand, I had two other brands (one was NOW), and both tasted a tad ‘off,’ like a slight metallic taste – THESE CACAO nibs do NOT have any odd aftertaste, and they’re now my favorite. Good, fresh, and crunchy. I had never tried cocoa nibs before and these are definitely a good quality pack of them. They have a very light cocoa flavor and a crunchy texture. Almost like the texture of an almond but a bit more earthy. I could see these being a great addition to baked goods.

These are some of the best tasting cacao nibs I have had. I use them to sprinkle on top of my ice lattes and it’s delicious! These are really good quality and fresh. They give a nice texture to my iced lattes and I will also eat a small handful as a snack now and then.

Keeping in mind that these are not supposed to be sweet, because they’re raw without any thing added, these are a delicious and nutritious snack as well as great addition to any recipe you’re making. Some companies have little pebbles in their nibs, but not these, you’re getting exactly what you pay for, and the bag is a great size for the price.

As others have mentioned, if you're looking for chocolate chips, you will be sorely disappointed. These are unsweetened pure cacao and so have a more bitter taste. In my opinion, they are best for adding to other foods that already have some sugar but where you want to add a little chocolate taste and a nice crunchy texture. The nibs are small and are easy to add to whatever you like in the amount you like. The quality is solid and I'll be adding these to such desserts as ice cream and bananas.

This is a bigger bag than I was expecting, and is a great value. I usually end up overpaying for a smaller bag at the grocery store. The cocoa nibs themselves are delicious, fresh and not over-roasted as some I've gotten. I love to add cocoa nibs to smoothie bowls, but with such a big bag, I might experiment with baking with these as well!

Rumio is a great brand. I appreciate that they are organic and they really seem to know their stuff. These are 100% raw cacao nibs. I love them in my protein shakes. They are not sweet like chocolate chips. They add a nice bitter crunch to the shakes. A great deal!

I've bought cacao nibs from Whole Foods before, I used them in my cookies and brownies and they gave a different texture and crunch which I enjoyed and also a more chocolaty flavor as well in my cookies and brownies. This is a big bag, and I think it's reasonably priced especially since it's raw and organic also. It's fresh and it's just cacao nibs with nothing added, so it's not sweet since there is no sugar. The flavor is like super dark chocolate, no sweetness but there's a little tang. Good quality cacao nibs!

This is a 16 oz resealable zip top pouch of raw organic cacao nibs, from Rawmio. Opening the pouch I was greeted with the scent of rich chocolate. I eat cacao nibs right out of the bag sometimes, and these are delicious. They have a deep chocolate flavor, and although they are bitter, I don't find them to be overly bitter. Besides eating them right out of the bag, these are great for baking when you want to add some crunchy texture along with strong chocolate flavor, and they're also good for topping yogurt, and putting in smoothies. I love that these are USDA Organic certified, fair trade, and sustainably produced. The label also says they are a heritage variety of cacao, which is outstanding. At the current price at the time I'm writing this of $16.99, these cacao nibs are an exceptional value.

Great crunch. Slightly sweet, slightly bitter. I love using these in my morning cereal, or oatmeal, or yogurt parfaits, along with ice cream sundaes, pudding, and anything else i want to jazz up!

I actually thought I would get these to snack on but they are too bitter as a snack for me. BUT I planned on making banana bread, which is one of the few sweets that my husband will eat. So, I decided to add some of these to the mix and it was a great combo. He wasn't happy at first because he didn't want added sweetness but liked these because they weren't too sweet. The bag is huge so I will have to find more things to add them too because the bag is large.

Before you order these, make sure you research cacao nibs if you're not familiar with them. These are NOT chocolate chips or melty baking chocolate or what you might think they are if you don't know. They are bare roasted bits of beans without any cocoa butter or sugar or any other properties that turn them into more familiar-tasting chocolate. These can be eaten straight from the bag or processed into your own recipes by adding other ingredients.It DOES NOT melt well, nor does it dissolve in hot water, even when ground to a powder. In that sense, they're like coffee beans, which need to be processed a specific way before they will melt or dissolve.That said, this is the second bag of Peruvian nibs I've ordered online, and while the first bag I bought was from a different company, the quality of this one is equal to the first.I'll tell you how I've used them so far...At first I had grandiose dreams of making my own chocolate, controlling the amount of sugar or sweetener, etc. But that was a lot of work so I saved it for later (and still haven't done it after 2 years! lol).What I've done so far is add them straight from the bag into homemade trail mix, which my husband loves. It doesn't add sweetness but rich crunchy healthy somewhat bitter chocolate.The other thing I've done is added it to my ground coffee for my daily brew, which is such a winner! I grind the nibs up to about the same coarseness as my coffee grounds, and then mix that in with my coffee grounds in the coffee filter. I experimented with it for a while, and ended up settling on about 1.5 tablespoons of ground nibs to my filter of coffee grounds that makes a strong 12 cups. It makes my coffee even stronger with a rich (unsweetened) chocolate undertone. I recommend trying this, it's great!I still look forward to grabbing some simpler recipes off the internet to make more recipes with the nibs, but for now those 2 things alone are worth the purchase, and we can make the nibs last a long time using them this way. I store the tightly closed bag in my freezer so it will keep longer. This bag I got expires about one year after I received them, but I expect they'll be good for at least another 6 months or more past that in my freezer, just like my coffee beans do.Overall I'm happy with these and will definitely be buying them again in the future.4 stars from me!

Like all Rawmio products, these are top quality. They're fresh, crunchy and full of chocolate flavor. If you already know you love cacao nibs, you'll love these. But if you've never had cacao nibs before, they're an acquired taste. They taste like unsweetened chocolate with a bit of tree bark texture. But hey, some people think truffles smell like socks. So these aren't for everyone, but 5 stars because they deliver the promised product and it's high quality.

Yummy. These nibs really made an incredible loaf of chocolate sourdough. Since they're unsweetened, I did add a bit of sugar in with the laminating and i'm happy I did because the loaf came out perfectly. My kids really enjoyed it also.
