What is processing time?
Processing time is the period between placing your order and the package being handed to the shipping carrier.
Most orders are processed within 2–5 business days, Monday–Friday excluding holidays.
During this time, your item may be picked, prepared, produced, finished, assembled, personalized, packed, or otherwise made ready for shipment.
Shipping time does not include processing time. Carrier transit begins after processing is complete and the package has been accepted for shipment.
Where does my order ship from?
My American Goods® uses a hybrid fulfillment model.
- Some products are stocked and shipped directly by My American Goods.
- Other products ship directly from the independent American brand or maker.
This allows us to offer a much broader selection of American-made products while supporting the independent businesses that make them.
Why might my order arrive in multiple packages?
Products in the same order may ship from different fulfillment locations.
As a result, items may:

Carrier delays & missing packages
After a package has been accepted by USPS, UPS, FedEx, or another shipping carrier, transit may be affected by weather, holidays, peak-volume periods, transportation disruptions, or other carrier conditions outside our control.

If tracking shows Delivered but you cannot locate the package, check:

Is my item eligible for return?
An eligible return must be requested within 30 days of delivery and must be in the same condition in which it arrived.
- Unworn, unused, unwashed, and unaltered
- Tags, seals, accessories, and protective packaging intact
- Original packaging included
- Proof of purchase available
Returns require authorization. Items sent back without approval may be refused.
What cannot be returned?
- Food, beverages, snacks, honey, tea, coffee, pantry items, and other perishables or consumables
- Opened, tested, sampled, swatched, or used personal-care, skincare, beauty, fragrance, wellness, bath, body, soap, deodorant, or grooming products
- Items with broken seals or missing protective packaging
- Custom, personalized, engraved, monogrammed, special-order, or made-to-order items
- Gift cards, digital products, sale, clearance, discontinued, final-sale, or hazardous items
Taste, texture, scent, expected flavor, and personal preference do not qualify as product defects.
Damaged, defective, or incorrect item?
Report the issue within 7 days of delivery. We may request clear photos of:
- The item and the reported issue
- The product packaging and seals
- The outer shipping package and shipping label
Keep the item and all packaging until the claim is resolved. Claims submitted after 7 days may be denied.
Who pays return shipping?
Unless we confirm that an item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect, the customer is responsible for return shipping.
- If we provide a prepaid label, its cost may be deducted from the refund.
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
- Return-label rates vary by package size, weight, and destination.
When will my refund be issued?
Refunds are not issued when a label is created or when a package is first scanned. The return must be received and inspected before approval.
- Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method or as store credit, depending on the item and return circumstances.
- Applicable original-shipping and return-label costs may be deducted.
- Please allow up to 10 business days for processing after inspection.
Candles and fragrance products
Candles and home-fragrance products cannot be returned because of scent preference. Fragrance is subjective, and natural variations are not defects.
Lit, burned, opened, melted, warmed, or otherwise used products are ineligible for return. Report confirmed damage or defects within 7 days and include photos.
Cancellations and exchanges
Order changes and cancellations must be requested within 60 minutes of purchase. After that window, processing or fulfillment may already have begun and changes are not guaranteed.
Direct exchanges are not guaranteed. For an eligible item, the fastest option is usually to complete an authorized return and place a new order.

This decorative unicorn candle features a metal skeleton that reveals as it burns. Customers said it's "too pretty to light" and makes an "impressive and special gift." Literally one of the coolest purchases ive ever gotten. I think it took about 4 straight hours to burn down but totally worth it! Also if the pyro pet is a different size it more than likely burns differently. Very happy with the outcome💙

This is really great for gift. However, I might have gotten a return. One of the ear broke off but it was easy to attach back and the horn was bent but it was also easy to bent back to shape.

I wasn't expecting the candle to be so big, and hefty!! Definitely glad it is though- grest value for the money, and greatfor gifting, because it doesn't look cheap. I will be giving it as a Christmas gift for a sister that loves exotic things, and candles. I hot the unicorn, and might get myself one!

This was a really cool gift. My only disappointment was that the metal skeleton underneath falls apart once it burned down. But my friend really enjoyed it and the story that accompanied it

Great gift. Doesn't melt completely die to the wider base and a single wick. We melted it the rest of the way with a torch to get the skeleton out. Overall, we were pleased with it. Maybe just add additional wicks as the base widens.

I gave it as a Christmas present to my sister who loved it. The candle is exactly what you would hope for. Very solid, fairly large, definitely makes a statement on a table or at a fun themed event. A bit pricey, but you are paying for the novelty factor, and it is quite cool.

Kids loved them. They look great out of the package. Nice size as well. Only issue is that they don't burn all the way down. Have to take a knife to it to hack off what is left after it burns to get the whole metal thingy out.Or you could just leave it with some wax at the bottom. I did both. I would buy again. Very cool and unique.

I bought this for my daughter’s 10th Birthday. She loved it. It only lasted a couple days so it’s a bit on the expensive side but she thought it was awesome. The story that came with it was cute too. Make sure you put it on a plate because the wax goes everywhere.

I bought this product as a Christmas gift to my boss. She likes candles and unicorns and this was the perfect gift to get her. When I received it in the I loved how the box had a little background story to this unicorn and instructions. My boss text me back saying she loved the item and was blown away from how cute it was. Highly recommend it the candle is beautiful carved into its animal shape and is a decent size for its price 🦄
