    What is processing time?

    My American Goods® uses a hybrid fulfillment model.

    Returns require authorization. Items sent back without approval may be refused.

    • Items with broken seals or missing protective packaging

    Taste, texture, scent, expected flavor, and personal preference do not qualify as product defects.

    Damaged, defective, or incorrect item?

    Report the issue within 7 days of delivery. We may request clear photos of:

    • The item and the reported issue
    • The product packaging and seals
    • The outer shipping package and shipping label

    Keep the item and all packaging until the claim is resolved. Claims submitted after 7 days may be denied.

    Who pays return shipping?

    Unless we confirm that an item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect, the customer is responsible for return shipping.

    • If we provide a prepaid label, its cost may be deducted from the refund.
    • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
    • Return-label rates vary by package size, weight, and destination.
    When will my refund be issued?

    Refunds are not issued when a label is created or when a package is first scanned. The return must be received and inspected before approval.

    • Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method or as store credit, depending on the item and return circumstances.
    • Applicable original-shipping and return-label costs may be deducted.

    Candles and fragrance products

    Candles and home-fragrance products cannot be returned because of scent preference. Fragrance is subjective, and natural variations are not defects.

    Lit, burned, opened, melted, warmed, or otherwise used products are ineligible for return. Report confirmed damage or defects within 7 days and include photos.

    Cancellations and exchanges

    Order changes and cancellations must be requested within 60 minutes of purchase. After that window, processing or fulfillment may already have begun and changes are not guaranteed.

    Wellness With a Personal Story

    Komoni began with founder Evangeline Stacy’s work as a massage therapist.

    After years of helping clients navigate stress, recovery, and demanding routines, Vangie began creating small-batch bath soaks as gifts for the people she worked with. What started at the massage table eventually grew into a family business supported by local Twin Cities food co-ops.

    Today, Vangie continues to make Komoni products in small batches with help from her mother and daughter.

    We love the combination of Minnesota craftsmanship, botanical ingredients, family involvement, and thoughtful everyday products. Komoni feels personal in a way mass-produced wellness brands rarely do.
