    What is processing time?

    Processing time is the period between placing your order and the package being handed to the shipping carrier.

    Most orders are processed within 2–5 business days, Monday–Friday excluding holidays.

    My American Goods® uses a hybrid fulfillment model.

    • Some products are stocked and shipped directly by My American Goods.
    • Other products ship directly from the independent American brand or maker.

    This allows us to offer a much broader selection of American-made products while supporting the independent businesses that make them.

    Why might my order arrive in multiple packages?

    Products in the same order may ship from different fulfillment locations.

    Damaged, defective, or incorrect item?

    Report the issue within 7 days of delivery. We may request clear photos of:

    • The item and the reported issue
    • The product packaging and seals
    • The outer shipping package and shipping label

    Keep the item and all packaging until the claim is resolved. Claims submitted after 7 days may be denied.

    Who pays return shipping?

    Unless we confirm that an item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect, the customer is responsible for return shipping.

    • If we provide a prepaid label, its cost may be deducted from the refund.
    • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
    • Return-label rates vary by package size, weight, and destination.
    When will my refund be issued?

    Refunds are not issued when a label is created or when a package is first scanned. The return must be received and inspected before approval.

    Candles and fragrance products

    Candles and home-fragrance products cannot be returned because of scent preference. Fragrance is subjective, and natural variations are not defects.

    Lit, burned, opened, melted, warmed, or otherwise used products are ineligible for return. Report confirmed damage or defects within 7 days and include photos.

    Cancellations and exchanges

    Order changes and cancellations must be requested within 60 minutes of purchase. After that window, processing or fulfillment may already have begun and changes are not guaranteed.

    The Story behind Biquette

    Biquette stood out because it brings together two things MAG wants to preserve: independent art and American textile manufacturing.

    Creative director Amelie Mancini works with artists around the world to transform their original designs into knitted textiles, while production happens locally at a Long Island knitting mill. The artists are credited and compensated through both collaboration fees and royalties.

    We also love the made-to-order model. Instead of producing piles of inventory, Biquette knits blankets as customers order them using beautiful natural fibers.

    Who is behind Biquette?

    Biquette brings together Amelie Mancini, a Brooklyn-based painter and textile designer who serves as the brand’s creative director, and Mineola Knitting Co., a Long Island textile mill.
    Where are Biquette products made?

    Biquette states that all of its products are knit locally on Long Island, New York. Blankets are made to order, while scarves are produced in small batches.

    What materials does Biquette use?

    Depending on the design and colorway, Biquette uses 100% organic cotton, long-staple Egyptian cotton, and extra-fine Merino wool. The brand does not use synthetic fibers in its knit collection.
    Who designs the blankets?

    Biquette works with independent artists and illustrators from around the world. Each product credits its individual artist, and Biquette says participating artists receive both commission fees and ongoing royalties from sales.
