Formulated for dry, sensitive, or barrier-compromised skin, this balm melts seamlessly into the skin, helping to calm inflammation, improve tone and texture, and lock in long-lasting hydration.

At its heart is grass-fed tallow from small regenerative Wisconsin farms, rich in bioavailable lipids that closely mimic the skin’s natural structure. It’s complemented by borage seed oil to soothe and restore, and oil-soluble vitamin C to brighten, fortify, and protect against environmental stressors.

The scent is green, herbal, and bright, with soft notes of tansy and chamomile, offering a grounding yet uplifting daily ritual that nurtures both skin and spirit.

The Ritual

Smooth a small pea-sized amount onto damp skin after cleansing and misting, or anytime your skin feels parched or tense.

TIP: Start using a minimal amount to see what feels best on your skin. Damp skin is a key step in optimal absorption. A little goes a very long way.

What is tallow? Tallow is a nutrient-dense, rendered fat traditionally sourced from the suet of grass-fed cows. In skincare, we use tallow from grass-fed and finished animals, ensuring it’s rich in fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E, K), conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), and a lipid profile remarkably similar to human skin sebum.

GRASS-FED TALLOW - Naturally rich in skin-compatible lipids like stearic and palmitic acid, tallow mimics the structure of our skin’s own sebum. It helps restore the moisture barrier, lock in hydration, and support skin that’s dry, sensitive, or compromised.

BORAGE SEED OIL - Exceptionally high in gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), an essential fatty acid known for its ability to calm inflammation and rebuild the skin barrier. This oil is especially helpful for soothing irritation and dryness linked to eczema or environmental stress.

SQUALANE (OLIVE-DERIVED) - A lightweight, stable lipid that mimics the skin’s natural oils, squalane absorbs easily to replenish moisture without clogging pores. It supports elasticity, improves skin texture, and helps protect against moisture loss and oxidative damage.

TETRAHEXLDECYL ASCORBATE (Oil-Soluble Vitamin C) - A potent yet gentle form of vitamin C that penetrates deeply into the skin’s lipid layers to brighten, stimulate collagen, and defend against free radical damage. Unlike water-based forms, it’s non-irritating and ideal for sensitive or mature skin.

BLUE TANSY ESSENTIAL OIL - Packed with chamazulene, a powerful anti-inflammatory compound, blue tansy calms redness, irritation, and reactive skin. Its vivid blue color and soothing aroma signal its role in restoring balance and tranquility to inflamed complexions.
