Body & Massage Candle: Don't Bug Me! Insect Repellent Candle

To ensure an even burn and long-lasting candle, make sure to trim your wick to about 1/4 inch before lighting. Burn on a stable, flat, heat resistant surface.

Light the Candle:

For best results, light wick 10 minutes before sitting outside.
Allow candle to burn for 10 – 15 minutes or until the top level of warm oil pool evenly and there is still solid candle oil underneath.

Blow out the Flame*

Yes, always extinguish candle before attempting to use the oil.
Apply the Oil

Dip your finger into pooled oil and massage into skin where bugs are biting like the ankles.
The candle melts at just above body temperature.
The oils should feel warm, but not hot.
Apply to the pulse points on your body located behind your ear, at the bottom of your throat, on your wrist, inside your elbow and behind your knee.
*To extinguish your candle, gently blow out the flame. Never attempt to extinguish a candle using water.

**The scent from the essential oil blend will help repel insects, but since *the candle is made with a skin-safe concentration of oils, it is not as strong as a typical "bug" candle.

The leftover candle will solidify to use another day. Keep wick trimmed to about ¼ inch. Be sure to replace the lid after use to keep candle clean.
