Beef Tallow Sunscreen SPF 50. Beef Tallow is some of the best stuff to put on your skin. It fights wrinkles and this one protects against sunburn. It does not feel like a heavy lotion or is real greasy. Easy to apply and great for your skin. You do not have to keep applying it if you sweat alot. This is some really good sunscreen. I highly recommend it. After I tried this one I can say that I will be a lifelong customer.

I like this Jay Alvarrez "Sunkissed by Heaven" Beef Tallow sunscreen. I was curious to see how the beef tallow would feel because I've used tallow moisturizers in the past and they often can feel greasy and take a while to absorb. Fortunately, this still feels quite moisturizing but didn't leave me with a sticky, greasy or tacky feeling. It's definitely more softening than drying, which is nice. I happen to be very pale so it left no white cast on me at all. It absorbs well and leaves my skin looking healthy and almost glistening.Due to the size (about a size of toothpaste tube) and price, I will likely use this daily on my face, neck and hands only while using a more economical option on full body if going to the beach.

I was excited to try this beef tallow moisturizer - I'd heard such good things about it and have been having dry skin that just seems to get irritated by many lotions.Scent wise, this stuff is great. There's no strong fragrances and the natural smell if so faint, that you really don't smell it unless you're really giving your skin a close up sniff.A little tiny blob goes a very long way with this moisturizer, so even though the tube appears fairly costly just going by the price per ounce, a tube will last a very long time, even if you're using it over your whole body. The tube itself is nice - it feels metallic, not the normal plastic most tubes come in and it's got an easy to grip screw cap that feels really nice. It's absolutely on the higher end of packing and I appreciate that.That being said, a little goes a long way is both good and bad. It seemed to sit on my skin forever, unlike moisturizers that quickly absorb and don't give me that greasy, sticky feeling on my skin. This probably doesn't bother most people, but if you've got texture issues, be prepared to only put this on when you're distracted by something else, because if you make the mistake of applying it before bed, you're going to be enraged at how much you're sticking to your sheets. When I use it during the daytime, however, it's great for keeping my hands moisturized for far longer than my other moisturizers.If you're looking for a more natural moisturizer, this would be a great option to try.

I tried out this sunscreen once the sun finally came out. It worked well and my skin did not get burned or dry. It absorbs super quickly into the skin as you can see in the pictures. It is almost like a very moisturizing lotion. I like it for everyday use but I did feel on beach outings, I'd prefer one that stays a bit on the skin. The fragrance is mild tallow and its soft and easy to rub in.

I have been using beef tallow for quite some time and like how it keeps your skin moisturized. This sunscreen does the same. It comes out thick, but when you apply it, it is lightweight and does not feel cakey or heavy. No white cast is seen.It makes your skin feel moist and nourished, but not on the greasy side. It doesn’t have a particular scent which I actually enjoy with certain sunblocks.I love the natural ingredients not filled with chemicals. A little goes a long way so this is a great item to have when traveling and fits the accepted amount to go on planes. I would definitely recommend this to those looking for a more natural product for sun protection.

This review is for the Jay Alvarrez Beef Tallow Sunscreen SPF 50 – Grass-Fed Tallow & Zinc Oxide Mineral Sunscreen, No White Cast, Water Resistant Face & Body Sunblock | 3 oz. First off, 3 oz doesn't sound like much, but this is a toothpaste sized tube of sunscreen. The product goes on much smoother than I anticipated it would and it blended in quickly. Much less rubbing than other more natural sunscreens I have used, like Blue Lizard and Supergoop. I am a ginger with very sensitive skin so I know my way around sun products. Unfortunately I can't attest to it's sunscreen abilities since I am in MI and the UV has been quite low lately. The cream feels very moisturizing on my skin, you still feel it like other sunscreens do on the surface but it is not slimy or sticky. There is no scent whatsoever and it is made in the USA, which I really appreciate. My tube expires the end of 2027, no problem getting it used up by then. Yes it is expensive, but when you compare it to other natural or more natural products it is a top choice for me since it has very limited ingredients compared to others.

SO many sunscreens I’ve tried always leave my face feeling heavy and oily, or the smell is irritating but this sunscreen is amazing! I love that it rubs onto my face like moisturizer so it doesn’t feel greasy or like it’s clogging my pores. It had a very faint scent that disappears after a couple of minutes, and it’s very easy to wash off with cleanser. I have brown skin, but the sunscreen has a pink brownie tint so there was no crazy visible white cast. It kept me protected for a couple of hours and the tube is portable and easy to squeeze. I was nervous about the beef tallow, but it hydrated and protected my skin very well.

This sunscreen is thicker than your typical sunscreen lotion. It's cream colored and contains 25% zinc oxide. It does a take a bit of rubbing on the skin to get it to absorb in so you don't have any cream colored patches showing. It does not feel greasy on the skin, but when I rubbed where it's applied I could definitely feel it. It's not unpleasant or sticky. Once I started hiking I forgot that it was there.It is non scented which I really like. I also like that it is natural product made in the USA that is reef safe. I put it on my face and went for a long hike in the sun. I did not get any sunburn or burning in my eyes from the sunscreen and I was mopping my face occasionally due to all the sweat. So it does the primary job of a sunscreen well without mixing with your sweat and getting in your eyes.This is an expensive choice, but the quality of the ingredients and the product performance do help justify the cost.If you like high end all natural sunscreen I think this is a solid choice.

This is a big tube of tallow that is easy to use, you don't have to scoop it out of a round tub like with other brands. The cream is a light yellow, goes on fairly smooth without much rubbing and leaves a nice shine. It also works well as a base for my tinted moisturizer, I don't have any issues with them mixing and still get the benefit of the shine. It doesn't have any smell or fragrance.

Made in the USA! Out of tube creamy and applies smooth. Premium quality, absorbs quickly and leaves the skin feeling soft and smooth. Feels light-weight but leaves a shiny look to it. Just 5 ingredients: tallow, zinc oxide, beeswax, lecithin, and jojoba oil. Far fewer ingredients than a typical sunscreen product, which usually contain many chemicals and artificial ingredients. Very pricey for only a 3oz size tube. Although since you don't need to use a lot each time, it may last long enough. Less than 2 years expiration date.

No sunbtan of burns with this Sunscreen. It's been clear and 90 degrees for the past few days and I have been outside in the sun several hours each day and I didn't get any burns or redness. A little of this sunscreen goes a long way, not too much is needed. It does go on with a bit of a white cream color but soon fades and is a bit greasy to start, but that also seems to fade away unless you're sweating. What really is nice, is the feel of my skin after washing off, so smooth, not dried out at all. I do think the Tallow is a fabulous ingredient in this sunscreen. NO Smell either. And they have an actual support number if you have questions.

I haven't tried it yet. I'm not one to use sunscreen daily because I'm super sensitive to chemical sunscreens, but I do occasionally want a sunscreen on long pool days. I have the Sunkissed by Heaven beef tallow moisturizer and love it, so I expect I'm going to love this as well. The sunscreen ingredients are very clean, and the active ingredient is zinc oxide, which is a safer, mineral sunscreen with the potential benefit of helping to reduce acne. The box has tamper-evident seals on both ends, as well as an imprinted expiration date (mine is nearly 2 years in the future). The ingredients are listed on both the box and tube as follows: Zinc Oxide 25.00% Sunscreen, Beeswax, Jojoba Esters, Lecithin, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Oil, Tallow (grass fed and finished as listed on the box). I went ahead and shook the tube (per instructions) and squeezed a tiny bit of the sunscreen out and rubbed it on the back of my hand. It seemed kind of greasy and white at first, but it rubbed in and absorbed quickly and before I could get my camera to snap a picture the white wasn't noticeable anymore. I do not notice any odor from it whatsoever. Now that it's absorbed into the skin on the back of my hand, my skin feels smooth, soft, and really good. I think I'm going to love this sunscreen as much as I love the moisturizer!

Wow! This sunscreen just melts right into your skin, it feels really nice, and I love the non-nano zinc oxide. It feels protective, has no scent, and the tube isn't plastic - another lovely positive. The tube says grass fed tallow, beeswax, jojoba esters, Lecithin, jojoba, and offers a great benefit of SPF 50. My skin is very sensitive and I have been using this for the past 3 days and my skin has reacted most pleasantly. I love this product! I even put in my cracked heels because it's Springtime now and flip flops are going to be worn soon, this product is going to make my feet very happy too. Expiration is 12/2027. Extremely pleased and would most definitely recommend. Thank you!

This is a wonderful chemical free beef tallow sunscreen that doubles as a moisturizer. It is so nice to have the ultraviolet protection it provides without the harsh chemicals typically found in sunscreen. It is perfect for my sensitive skin, causing no irritation at all. It comes in a large tube. The product is white and creamy and applies smoothly. After applying the sunscreen and massaging it in for a minute or so, the white appearance of the cream has disappeared and has becomes transparent. It is naturally moisturizing and provides a skin moisture barrier. After application, my face feels smooth to the touch and has a natural, healthy glow with no white residue. It is unscented, so there’s none of the overpowering fragrance sunblocks usually have. I am really happy to have found this quality product that protects my skin from damaging UV rays and does so without harsh chemicals and with no overpowering smells.

Wow, I haven't seen the name "Jay Alvarrez" in ages, but I totally remember him from years ago as an Instagram influencer (who also dated another very famous fellow influencer) and as someone who often showed off trips to many tropical destinations. So I guess it makes sense that as the co-founder of this brand, he released a sunscreen that reflects his outdoors-y lifestyle—though what is unique about this sunscreen to me is the very short, clean list of ingredients and the addition of beef tallow! The texture of the sunscreen is really creamy and moisturizing and honestly? It's pretty great. I don't know that I'd use it on the face, though, as I'm a little nervous about breaking out from the beef tallow as it's pretty thick, but for a body sunscreen, I'm really into this and the fact that it's a zinc oxide (mineral-only based) sunscreen with no chemical SPF, AND it's packaged in a metal tube instead of plastic. The sale price is $28.49 USD at the time of this review, so while it's a bit on the pricier side, I do appreciate that it's such a clean product.
