    Simply add water and raw honey (or your preferred sweetener), simmer, strain, and enjoy. For extra potency, add 3–5 fresh garlic cloves to your boiling water — or skip it if you prefer a milder flavor.

    Sizing & Servings

    • Makes approximately 32 oz (1 quart) of tonic.

    • Yields about 64 servings (1 tbsp/day) or 192 servings (1 tsp/day).

    • Children under 12: 1–2 tsp per day

    • During times of need: up to 1 oz every few hours (as it’s a food-based tonic).

    • Shelf-stable until brewed; refrigerate after preparation.
    How to use

    Bring five cups of water to a rolling boil. Reduce to a simmer and add package contents to water. Cover and let cook for 30 minutes on a low simmer. Let cool and mix in 1/2-1 cup raw honey (the more honey you add the longer the tonic will be preserved in the fridge). This makes approx. 32 oz of elderberry tonic. Always keep refrigerated since there is no preservatives added in. These instructions are printed on the back of the bag as well.
