Though some found it pricey and wished for larger sizes, most appreciated the quality lather and gift-ready canvas pouch packaging.

I've been using shampoo bars for some time, now. Compared to the liquids, they perform as well and last longer. This bar is the first beard specific one that I've tried. It lathers well and seems to rinse easily, leaving my beard and skin feeling clean. The scent is pleasant and subtle, so you won't smell like the department store perfume counter.
This beard bar has a simple formulation, making it friendly for your face. I love that it is made with goat’s milk! The bar has a light tea tree oil scent & does the job of cleaning the beard and other parts of the body. Soap comes in a canvas sack, which is a nice touch!
This beard soap comes in a very nice giftable pouch. The soap itself is also beautiful and has a lovely aroma.
My husband doesn’t have that much of a beard but even though he keeps it very short, he enjoys using this soap and likes the smell. He says that it lathers well, and leaves his beard feeling clean and softer.
I really enjoyed using this beard wash bar. First off the mint scent is amazing, right out of the box you can smell it. The scent is amazing. The bar lathers up nice and worked great on my beard. My beard felt refreshed and clean afterwards and had a great mint scent. I would highly recommend!!!
This beard bar smells nice and clean. It isn’t overpowering and leaves my husbands short beard feeling soft. It doesn’t cause his skin to break out, and it has eased the dry flaky patches that he has.
The first thing one notices about this product is the scent; it is not unpleasant but it is strong right out of the bag. I would say the Bay Rum scent is strongest when the quarter bound bar( brick) is wet. The biggest concern is that the scent will remain in the facial hair, this is not a problem; once the beard is dry the scent is barely noticeable even “right under your nose”. Every beard is different, genetics dictate the texture, facial hair can be difficult to keep clean without making it frizzy and difficult to manage when longer than close cropped beards. This product is much better than using shampoo; it is easy to use and the 4 oz. (113g) brick will last a really long time because it is used just on the beard. The product shipped in a canvas drawstring bag so if you travel it is labeled at airport checkpoints. My beard is noticeably softer and easier to brush and much more manageable throughout the day even if no other products are used after washing. This product works well and is highly recommended.
This Cliff Supply Beard Wash Brick soap bar contains awesome ingredients for cleansing and moisturizing my skin, while also conditioning my beard. With the pleasant fragrance of tea tree oil, using this soap is a refreshingly aromatic experience. I find that this soap lathers very nicely, and it does not leave a sticky or unwanted residue. It not only does a great job of cleansing, but also moisturizing my skin with the added goat’s milk and coconut oil. Using it when I shower after my exercise routine, it really does a fantastic job. My face feels so much smoother and less irritated when I use this. It’s really a high quality soap in my opinion. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.
It comes in a very cute and nice canvas pouch and the fragrance is powerful and very accurate!
This beard soap has a nice masculine minty scent…it’s a little ‘Wrigley’s Spearmint Gum’ scented, but it’s nice and clean smelling, not overwhelming or astringent. Lathers and rinses well.
Comes in a drawstring cotton bag with iron-on type product labeling that looks nice.
Fun for a shaving / beard gift set for Father’s Day, a birthday, or other occasion.
This is the first beard soap I've tried, and I like it.
I have a short length beard, and it's noticeably softer after I use the soap.
It has a mild scent that's a mix of different things, coconut is the only one I can place.
It rinses immediately. It makes my skin feel slightly waxy right after I use it, but then it feels moisturized afterward, and not waxy or oily.
I use very little of the bar each time, so I expect it to last me months if not a full year.
The soap arrives in a canvas drawstring bag, and the whole package would make an impressive gift.
This is quite a generous bar of soap for my beard and face. To give you an idea, it’s about 3 3/8” wide, a little over an inch thick, and about 2 1/8” tall, but it’s hard to measure that one due to one of those sides looks like mountain peaks. The soap comes unwrapped, and in a cloth/canvas bag with drawstrings. The soap bar name and description labels are actually silkscreened onto the bag, they aren’t stickers. When I first opened the bag there was a fairly strong scent from the soap. After a few uses the scent really lowered and now it just has a light and clean smell to it.
I like the directions on the back of the bag, “it’s soap, you’ve got this”. I got my beard wet first and then rubbed the soap bar around my beard. Then I used my hands and massaged my beard and a lot of lather appeared. Then after a few moments to allow the soap to do its job to my beard, I did the same thing to the rest of my face and let it settle for a few moments. Due to the amount of lather generated, I didn’t open my eyes until I rinsed it off. The soap bar felt very smooth against my skin and it just glided across it.
Overall I like this face/beard soap bar. Since I only use a little soap, this bar should last quite a while.
Great soap in terms of performance...Builds up a silky, slick lather with good final results of a soft beard. Scent is okay, pretty mild but natural. Great ingredients. Not much of a "brick" just a small 4x2 ish block of soap at a premium price. Price is subjective, you may feel you aren't getting a lot of soap for the price but it is pretty nice.
My husband liked this beard soap. It lathers up nicely. It had a minty smell that gets more powerful once you’re lathering up. It was moisturizing and left his beard soft
This is nice soap, a pleasant but light scent. I haven't had issues with my skin and it does soften the hair.
🍃An all natural bar soap specifically formulated to clean and keep that beard fresh. Nice presentation in a storage bag and makes the most perfect gift for my man. 👍👍
What sets this beard soap apart is its unique combination of organic goat milk and coconut oil. This duo works wonders in softening and nourishing my beard, all while removing the day's grime. It's not just about keeping the beard clean; it's about taking care of the skin beneath it. One of the issues I often face is beard itchiness, and this beard wash has truly helped with that. It hydrates the skin and hair follicles, making my beard not only look great but also feel incredibly comfortable. I went for the Cedar Musk scent, and it's an absolute delight.
If you or your man has a beard, consider this beard soap over beard conditioners.
I have used lots of beard products over the years. Some are definitely better than others and this is no exception.
Pros:
- Scent is not too overwhelming.
- It does condition your beard but give it at least a week or two to notice the difference.
- Comes in a nice 'giftable' ready package/draw string sack.
- Natural soap. So those that want to avoid non-natural products, this is a good alternative.
- Priced similar to other beard soaps.
Nit-Picking:
- Wished is came in a 3-pack.
- Wished it came in a bigger bar.
Tip: Lather the soap in your hands first and then rub the lather into your beard. It will make the soap bar last longer and you will still get the same effect.
Final Conclusion: Not a bad beard soap. Wished it came in a 3-pack without the additional packaging, but if you are looking for a beard gift-able item, this is right up there. I would recommend.
This is a great beard shampoo bar. It leaves the beard feeling soft and silky. Does not dry out the skin. It comes in a cute package. This is definitely a giftable idea for the bearded person in your life. You get a great value for the price.
This beard soap is high quality and smells really good. It doesn't dissolve overly fast and seems like it will last for several months of daily use.
This beard wash smells so good (not overbearing) and lathers well. It comes in a nice little canvas draw string pouch. It left my skin soft and moisturized. The listed price is a little high, but would be ideal for a gift.
Basically a very hydrating facial soap. Lathers thick (you can control the lather with water), comes off easily and I find my face isn't entirely stripped of oils, so sometimes I don't need to follow up with moisturizer.
I got this as a gift, and it looks and smells great. The recipient said that it has a good lather, and he uses the bag for storing other toiletries when traveling.
This soap smells great, and lathers up into a creamy smooth consistency. Hubby likes how it leaves his beard feeling, and I like how he smells after using it. I tried washing my face with it, and it feels great for that also. But I will leave it for him since I really like how good he smells after washing up with it!
I got this beard soap for my husband, it has made his beard noticeably softer after a week of daily use. It has a mild but pleasant scent. The goats milk and coconut oil has been great for his skin and have noticed a couple of dry patches have disappeared.
