Beard Oil - Tea Tree

I am quite picky about my beard oils. They need to have a particular consistency, have a proper blend of oils, and smell good, as well. Oftentimes, manufacturers will use a generic sort of base blend (which I find nauseating to smell), and will then add a touch of some scent or another and call it a new product. I have ordered what turned out to be this sort of beard oil far too many times in the past. Then there are those manufacturers who take the time to balance out the scents they are adding, working on the beard oil as a whole, as a holistic experience.

This beard oil exhibits the characteristics of the latter sort of manufacturing process.

It goes on easily without being excessively greasy or runny. It does an effective job of moisturizing the beard without being comedogenic. It includes functional essential oils (such as Tea Tree oil, which is an anti-fungal, on top of smelling really good). And the scent is pleasant without being overwhelming.

I will repeat that I am very particular regarding my beard oils, and so this list of qualities that I look for may seem excessive and unreasonable, but this beard oil shows that high quality, satisfying products do exist out there -- you just may need to dig for them a little.

Nice travel size. Easy to apply and moisturizes nicely, absorbed fairly quickly. I like the packaging and that it comes in a glass jar. We chose the Tea Tree scent and while it is refreshing, my husband is not a huge fan of the scent.

This beard oil is refreshing and smells great. Smell is a subjective thing, but I personally like the smell as it isn't too overpowering. The oil helps to soften beard hair and make it more manageable. It helps to nourish the skin under the beard as well. I agree with other reviewers that the spray applicator makes it easier to use and you waste less of the product. The pen in the picture is there to demonstrate size of the bottle.

I ordered this Cliff Supply All Natural Beard Oil for Men for my borother-in-law after watching him scratching at his beard. Men get dry skin under those itchy beards. I like that this oil will hydrate and soften his skin and facial hair. Contains really valuable natural oils. Smells fine.

The problem with buying products where the scent is important, is you can’t smell it before you buy it. That’s exactly the problem with this beard oil. The ingredients are great for beards as I am an avid beard, products, consumer, but the scent of this oil is horrendous. I can smell the tea tree oil, but there are other elements in here that make it smells like bug spray or very “chemically”. I know a lot of these good products don’t smell great, but I don’t want to be smelling this on my face all day. This may be something I use only at home.

Love this beard oil! The tea tree smell was pleasant and not overpowering. My husband used it. He said the oil was easy to apply throughout his beard and we could both tell that it made his beard softer. He also said that it made the skin underneath his beard feel softer and stop itching.

The Cliff Beard Oil is a total win! It has a delightful scent and a smooth consistency. I do wish the scent lasted longer. I have bought many beard oils for my husband and he rarely comments on one or the other, but he really likes this one and said it is very smooth and has the right amount of scent without being overpowering. It also has attractive packaging with a nice presentation so it would make for a nice gift. Would recommend!

This beard oil seems to work well for the dry skin that I get with my beard. I liked how the oil comes with a dropper rather than having to pour it out. This allows you to control how much oil you use at a time. The oil doesn't have an overwhelming smell and seems to keep me hydrated throughout the day. Overall, I would recommend this for anyone who's looking to keep their beard moisturized.

This beard oil smells really good! I love it so much, I've used it in other areas. The beard oil really makes my hair soft and soothes my skin. I like to use it after a trim so I don't feel so itchy and dry. The nutrients the oil gives my hair makes a huge difference and it's great for my skin as well. I haven't broken out since I started using this and my skin has not been flaky.

This oil works well and is easy to apply. Spritz a little in your hand and rub it in. Soaks in well and after a week I feel like it's softened up my beard. The tea tree smell is something that you either like or you dont. I dont exactly prefer it but a majority of these beard oils tend to be tea tree oil so I deal with it.

I've been enjoying this beard oil. It comes in a bottle with a little pump to spritz it into your hand for application. It feels really nice and spreads easily.

My only concern is the smell. I understand that it's straight tea tree oil, so it's not nearly as mellow as some of the vanilla scents you usually get with a beard oil. I've come to enjoy it, but just be aware that it's pretty strong at first and fades after alittle bit.

This oil has been great. A few pumps of it and does a great job keeping my beard smooth and the skin under it from getting itchy and flaky.

With my Italian heritage, my skin has never needed moisturizing. I'm pushing 50 now, and for some reason, if I grow my beard out passed a quarter inch, the skin under it always dries out and I get that awful dandruff-like flaking from it when it gets itchy.

When this bottle runs out, I fully intend to purchase more.

The tea tree scent is great. It’s definitely potent initially, but it does fade to a much more tolerable muted scent pretty quickly. We already use straight tea tree oil for other purposes & like the scent, so we knew what we were getting into.

I was looking for beard oil for quite some time and was unable to pick one. Decide to give it a try and all I say that this product is wow. My facial hair usually gets very tight and I am forced to shorten them. After applying this I can feel sliky, shiny and soften beard.

It has a nice light smell and stayed on him and didn’t rub off on the pillows or me like I was worried it would. Little goes a long way.

This product seems useful for men that get a bit dry or flaky around the beard area. I have to my boyfriend to try and we found that it smells nice and hydrates his face, but you really have to use it sparingly and be careful to not go overboard when pumping it out. A little goes a long way.

This is my first time ever trying any kind of anything for my beard. I've never really had a problem with my skin under my facial hair - but with my beard growing out and getting long It's very 'wild'. I didn't want to use a mustache 'wax' to tame it so decided to try a beard oil. I rub a small amount of this beard oil in and comb it down and the 'woolies' are GONE !. I love it. Sleeping on my beard at night really has on the wild when getting up in the morning. I've been using hair rubber bands (like for pony-tails) to keep it under control. Using this beard oil is so much better. I can just rub a few dabs in and throughout my beard, and comb it and GO. It does leave your fingers very oily after applying, but it washes right away. Can definitely recommend this.

If you dislike the smell of tea tree, this beard oil is probably not for you. It’s quite strong! I like the smell though, and it wears off before too long. Most importantly, this will hydrate your beard and your skin, and keep your beard looking nice while preventing that nasty shin dandruff.

I get dry, flakey skin, especially in the winter, and especially under my beard, so I use it as much for my skin as my beard. As an oil, this is good. As for the scent, I only seem to smell it initially, then I just smell the oil.

I've been using a bunch of different beard oils now. Trying the Cliff Supply Tea Tree oil and it has to be one of the stronger scents I've tried. Fortunately I like the smell and it doesn't stick around forever. Just be aware if you're also using scented beard balm that the two may clash.

The Tea Tree scent is great - and this oil helps to sooth my skin and keep the bear relatively soft. Just dab 4-5 drops on your fingers, and comb your hands through your beard, massaging your cheeks, chin and any other place covered by beard hair.

Wasn't sure about the smell of this at first, but after a few minutes it really started to grow on me. I like how it has the sprayer rather than a dropper like others have, buy the time I get halfway through one with a a dropper the rubber tip usually is starting to break down. The glass bottle is nice, but I am a little worried it might slip out of my hand and shatter on the tile floor. Pick up a beard brush and spray a little on the brush and then work it into your beard, you will like the results. I should use it more often so my grey hairs aren't left all over my shirt constantly. Overall I would buy this again and may try the other scents as well.

I like the smell of this. It goes on light and doesn’t feel too oily and really softened the beard in just a day or two!
