NOURISHING Cleanser, Non-Drying, 8.0 oz

For me the lovely scent is both calming and refreshing, a hint of lavender and citrus. I find this to be a really gentle cleanser; I haven't had such success with a cleanser like this that's part of a whole line, it doesn't hurt my highly sensitive skin at all. The experience is like using a fancy Cetaphil (for all my fellow sensitives out there :) ). Sometimes I use a couple dollops of it with my sonic Mia2 device and never have any reaction despite the addition of physical exfoliation. It doesn't dry out my face, either. The bottle is a good size and the pump works flawlessly for me, you can easily unscrew the top to see how much is left. The product packaging design for the whole line is minimalist and has become part of my love for the brand. I love that I can get this straight from Somme here and trust that I won't receive an expired product. This has become my go-to cleanser and lasts me a while.

I love this cleanser and this company. Such a good value for the quality, ingredients and efficacy of the skincare products, particularly now that I’m about to be 50. They make my skin look and feel so hydrated, which lends itself to preserving my skin as long as possible. Highly recommend! (P.s. I am a cosmetologist, and therefore trained in aesthetics, so I do know the good stuff from the other stuff!)

I have allergies and sensitive skin, so I have to be careful about the products I use. This face wash did not cause any adverse effects. It has a mild scent that I find pleasant. It doesn't foam, which I'm not used to, but I guess that is what makes it non-drying.

This is a very well done cream cleanser. The scent is light, fresh, crisp. No musk or heavy perfume. Rinses completely off with zero residue and feels gentle on my skin. I use before bedtime skin care routine with this entire Somme Institute line and my skin looks hydrated and moisturized every morning. The giant polka dot on the cheap plastic bottle annoys me. I wish they'd change their logo! Doesn't detract from product though.

Somme institute keep surprising me with high quality skin care products like this cleanser. It’s really made my skin feel alive, forget shiseido or Dior, who needs it when you have this goodness on the market?! I mean I tried them all, and this is by far the best cleanser I have ever tried. Makes my skin to “breath out” after busy day at work and 12 hr make up wear. This cleanser kissing my skin good night, so gentle, so caring, it’s almost like a little miracle worker. It’s very creamy and sensational feeling skin after each use it. Try it, you won’t regret it!

One critic complain that this did not remove her makeup very effectively. But nowhere in the product description or on the bottle itself does it claim that it is a makeup remover. Instead, it only says that it is a non foaming cleanser. This helps to clean the skin without irritation or over drying. It dissolves dirt and oils without clogging the pores. But it says nothing of taking off makeup. All you should do is wet your face with warm water and massage the cleanser into the skin. Then you rinse it with warm water. Dry it. And then follow with transport pads. The main ingredient is water and propylene glycol. I hope the photo is helpful.

I switch up cleansers when the weather gets cooler. I love this one, it is moisturizing and still gets my face clean. A lot of product for the price.

Usually I’m a “if this works, we’re not switching” gal when it comes to skin care. I’ve been using other Somme Institute products for years and added the cleanser into the mix a few weeks ago. Now I’m asking myself why I didn’t switch sooner. The cleanser is great for mature skin. After cleansing skin is clean but not dry and feels like I don’t need to double moisturize like I usually do. I will be ordering again.

I love all some products because they are very effective and my skin always feels it’s best when I use them. This cleanser is very mild. It’s a creamy texture which I like, because it feels less drying. It is perfect for all skin types in my opinion. Gentle enough but has the right ingredients to take care of blemishes. My only qualm is that it’s a little pricey.

I love this non foaming cleanser. It completely gets rid of the makeup and dirt without drying my skin. I have been an esthetician for the past 18 years. I used this product at my job from 2003-2005, then I moved and got a different job and had to use other medical grade products that I did not like as much as the Somme products. However when I retired and moved to Mexico, I started using the Somme products again.

I am a long time user of Somme Institute Products and I frequently get compliments on my skin- it looks pretty amazing for my age! The cleanser is great skincare preparation for both cleanliness and application of serum(s) and moisturizer. You only need a small amount applied to wet skin. It feels cooling on application with no odor at all. Leaves skin really clean and very soft . I have sensitive skin that is prone to milia (tiny white bumps), but this cleanser has not caused any milia or irritation at all. This cleanser is a treatment by itself, but as a bonus, it helps skin absorb the Somme Institute serum and a-bomb moisturizer. Highly recommend this cleanser and the whole Somme Institute line!

I’ve been using this cleanser for over 10 years and cannot do without it. It leaves mr skin clean but nourished.

I am a devoted Somme user for the past decade and was first drawn to the product like because of the reversing of sun damage. This cleanser doesn’t take eye makeup off, but it does gently clean my acne prone skin, promotes evening of skin tone and overall appearance-smooth and hydrated. Not greasy. It may cost a little more, but still way less than laser treatments!

I love all the Somme products and this is no exception! Gently cleans your skin leaving it soft and supple. The vitamins in the wash include vitamin A, C, E, B3 and B5 are working to help lighten some of my age spots. This, the Serum and the Reset Creme are my favorites. I am headed towards 59 and I am always told how good my skin looks.

I always come back to this cleanser. Sometimes I'll experiment with others, but this has been the very best for my combination skin. It has the perfect balance of clean-feeling without stripping skin of natural essence. Leaves my face feeling soft and clean and not dried out.

I have been a fan of the Somme Institute serum and A-bomb moisturizer for years and use them daily. Their cleanser has proven to be a great addition to the lineup! It rinses well and doesn't dry my skin. It is also completely non-irritating around my eyes, so I can really cleanse my eye makeup off without any stinging or dryness. It essentially does exactly what I want a cleanser to do without any negatives, and I know it complements my serum and moisturizer. Yes, it is pricey, but at my age (54) it's an investment! Just keep an eye out for sales!

The Somme non-forming cleanser is spectacular. I have very dry skin and this is the solution. Deep cleanses without drying my skin. Thank you Somme.

I truly LOVE SOMME products. They remedy pretty much any skin ailment, in my opinion.This cleanser is not abrasive. It’s creamy. Leaves my skin feeling clean, but NOT stripped.If you are in search of something that actually targets and treats skin, look no further.I’ve spent lots of money on other products throughout the years and always come back to Somme.

(Reviewed by my wife): I have been using several different Somme Institute products in combination with each other (Nourishing cleanser, Transport Exfoliating Glycolic pads, Serum, Eye Cream, A-Bomb moisturizer, and Double Defense w/spf30). I am very happy with the results. My skin feels and looks softer and brighter. I am 47 years old and without the right face products have skin that looks dull and starts to have a lot of fine lines. I have tried many different skincare products at different price points. Somme Institute products are very high quality.The cleanser leaves my skin feeling clean without stripping oils or making leaving my face dried out like some cleansers do. It has a pleasant scent. It does not overly lather so it's easy to rinse off. The price ($45.00 for an 8oz bottle at the time of this review) is about what you'd expect for a higher-end cleanser like this.

This is a good facial cleanser. It can be used on any skin type. I have been trying out sets of different products for my older skin and this is pretty good. I feel like I have been going to a spa.

This is a great cleanser from Somme Institute. It is the first step to a healthier and more radiant skin. The cleanser is not-foaming, non-drying cleanser designed to clean the skin and leave it feeling refreshed. They work well with the transport pads.
