I love this product. It really worked well for my skin, and I really saw results

This A bomb lotion is suggested to be used 4th in this line up of pretty decent products. The list of ingredients look top notch. I like the smell. No heavy perfume. Very light, subtle lime-y/citrus/fresh. I wish the consistency of lotion was just slightly thicker. I seem to require a heavier lotion in cold and dry weather. But my face feels hydrated enough. The tacky white plastic tub with ugly huge polka dot on it is enough for me to not reorder this though. It looks like a dollar store item. It's a shame they didn't give packaging a little more class. That's not really related to how good product works though, so I didn't dock a star for that!

I love somme institute and skin care combo line up, that works perfect. I don’t have aging skin yet, but have few wrinkles around eyes due to smiling probably way too much. Don’t treat this product as only anti-aging, within 1 week I noticed my skin tone started to become more even, tighter on cheeks & one of dark spots is gone. I’m using combination of products & consistent AM/PM routine. Overall wonderful product, I will continue using it!

this is easy to use. You just apply to your face neck and upper chest after using the serum. It contains high levels of vitamin A and E. It helps soften out fine lines and wrinkles while targeting problem areas. It's expensive, but it's high quality. I'm taking off one star just because it's so expensive.

Living in the sunshine state of Florida has it downfalls-skin damaged by sun exposure. This product is enriched with generous doses of Vitamins A & E, and is non-greasy moisturizer that smooths the look of fine lines and wrinkles. It is already working to renew the radiance to my skin and repair the sun damage.

As my main lotion for my nightly routine, this has quickly become my favorite lotion i've ever tried. A little goes a long way so don't be too scared of the price tag. I've had it a month and can't notice much of a decrease in product. It spreads out silky smooth, you can feel it absorbing as you spread it out. Leaves my skin feeling fresh and hydrated. If I had to choose one product to use instead of a routine, this is the one I would choose.

I have been using Somme Institute products for over 16 years! I was introduced to it by the salon I was working for. This is the only line of products that I go back to again and again because of the results! Seriously, I get asked if I just got a facial because of the glow I have. I tell them nope, it’s Somme Institute. I feel that everything in their lineup is a must have! The A Bomb is way more gentle than your harsh tretinoin or retin a products out there! If you want a true, anti-aging skin care routine from a trusted small company, this is it.

I've used Somme Institute products since I was first introduced to them at a Nordstrom spa in Southern California. So it's been over ten years, and the results speak for themselves. No one can ever guess my age as I always get mistaken for 10-15 years younger. And that's all because of the fantastic Somme products!I never go a day without using the Transport Pads and Serum. I also love the A-Bomb Moisturizer. It gives my skin such a beautiful glow. And the Nourishing Cleanser is so gentle and never leaves my skin dry, which is impressive considering I live in the desert. I can't recommend Somme products enough - they are the absolute best!!!

This product is lightweight, which is important to me. Since using this, my skin feels regenerated and softer. I’ve been using it with the cleanser and I haven’t felt my skin feel this renewed, ever. And I feel like I’ve used everything!!! Do your skin a favor and get this crème. You can either use other products and hope for change that most likely won’t come or use these products and have radically better skin. You’re welcome.

(Reviewed by my wife): I have been using several different Somme Institute products in combination with each other (Nourishing cleanser, Transport Exfoliating Glycolic pads, Serum, Eye Cream, A-Bomb moisturizer, and Double Defense w/spf30). I am very happy with the results. My skin feels and looks softer and brighter. I am 47 years old and without the right face products have skin that looks dull and starts to have a lot of fine lines. I have tried many different skincare products at different price points. Somme Institute products are very high quality.The A-Bomb moisturizer is thick and creamy, and a little goes a long way. It has a pleasant scent. It definitely leaves my skin well-moisturized and soft. The price ($79.00 for two ounces at the time of this review) is about what you'd expect for a higher-end moisturizer like this.

It very effective for skin

This A-Bomb Moisturizer smells like Key Lime Pie, which is fantastic and makes it a joy to apply. The "A" seems to stand for Antioxidants and the inclusion of Vitamins A and E. The formula for this looks good, and I have only been using it for a couple of weeks, so it will take more time to tell what effects it will have on fine lines and wrinkles than I am in a position to say right now. I would like to note for other potential buyers that I would consider this to be a good preventative treatment for women in their 20's and early 30's, rather than for someone such as myself, who is in her very late 30's.When I use this product I apply it over my night time serum and still wake up to dry, parched-looking, and tight skin the next morning. This is not nearly hydrating enough for me. I have continued to use this moisturizer but now am adding a rosehip oil over it to "lock it in" as they say. It may very well be the case that this offers enough benefit to be worth having to add an additional product to my routine, I can't say yet, but would caution more mature women to be aware that this is the case. I have rarely ever run into a night cream that was not hydrating enough, and find this to be a bit odd.

This moisturizer is really nice on my skin but I'm not nuts about all the citrus extracts they put in it. Citrus smells really nice but it's not great for the skin and I would vastly prefer not having them in any skin care item I use. That being said this is a lovely moisturizer it stinks in nicely to my skin and leaves it feeling supple and soft. I love using this in the mornings before makeup cuz I don't have to wait forever before I can actually put my makeup on top. It's not overwhelmingly hydrating so I don't know if people would dry skin would love it but on my normal skin it's very nice.

Been using for years

I’ve used this product for over 15 years and it’s still the best for my skin (oily/combination). It is pretty pricey and seems to get more expensive over the years, but still worth it. As my skin reacts well to itUpdate: it is currently 3/31/19, and I have been using the A-Bomb for over 10 years now and still a big fan.Update: 1/17/25 still a customer and while the price has gone up around $10 or so, this is still my go to moisturizer. Recommend to check out Somme’s website when they have flash discounts!

It's working wonders for my skin - didn't really have wrinkles to fight(but I like the prospect of preventative maintenance) before but was definitely fighting constant acne and cyctic acne issues. The custard like texture is light. Absorbs nicely and moisturizes well after the Transport pads. Been using the whole regimen for almost two weeks now and my skin has transformed a lot. Hoping the transformation continues. In such a short time, I've gone from loads of heavy foundation needing to be used, to just a little red spot concealor and tinted primer.

I have been using this product for years now and always come back to it. It soaks into my skin without causing oiliness or breakout. My skin stays balanced--very important for mature skin like mine that still has characteristics of oiliness. I use a few of the other products in this line and am just as pleased with each one. Worth every penny!

Somme Institute system is amazing. I wish I had found this product years ago (see serum review). I had acne scars from the late 30's and the Somme system had diminished them radically. Love it. Use the whole system, though.

This is the perfect moisturizer, I love it and the somme system. I wish it was a little more moisturizing during cold dry months.

I'm not one to write reviews, but I do like this product and I'm very picky about what I use on my face. I've used A-bomb for a couple years, and I haven't found anything I like better. It's light, it disappears quickly into my skin and leaves it feeling great. Friends ask what I use on my skin, and people tend to assume I'm years younger than my age (though that's also good genes)! It's not cheap, but you'll find a little goes a very long way.

Delivered as promised, new-in-box. This is a fairly non-irritating exfoliant; my skin is very sensitive and I use it only every other day. I can't imagine using it twice daily unless your skin is extremely oily. If you use the pads that go along with this (and I do) get them from Nordstrom; you can get double the amount for the same price you would pay anywhere else. Otherwise the prices here for Somme products are the best. I've ordered the serum and the cleanser but so far they have not arrived.
