Founded by James, a former physics researcher with a background in engineering, Mineralized began with a question: could a carefully chosen blend of mineral compounds help neutralize everyday body odor without relying on the waxes, gels, or baking soda commonly found in deodorant? After researching the chemistry of odor and testing combinations of magnesium and calcium, James developed the formula that became Mineralized Deodorant Powder. The brand began selling to the public in 2020.

The powder is made in Englewood, Colorado, using magnesium hydroxide, magnesium carbonate, magnesium oxide, calcium carbonate, a small amount of organic jojoba oil, and essential oils in scented varieties.
