Discover Fontana Candle Company, a family-owned Pennsylvania maker creating beeswax candles and wax melts scented with essential oils instead of synthetic fragrance.

Founded by husband-and-wife team Katie and Eric Roering, Fontana began after the couple started questioning what was actually inside conventional scented candles. Candle making became a Thursday-night hobby, and after roughly 150 test batches, they developed their signature blend of beeswax and coconut oil. They launched Fontana in 2018 and began selling at local markets around Lancaster.

Today, Fontana manufactures its candles in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, using a simple base of beeswax, coconut oil, essential oils or botanical extracts, and untreated wooden wicks. The brand also prioritizes full ingredient disclosure and has more than 100 products approved through the third-party MADE SAFE® certification program.

This isn’t home fragrance built around a mystery “fragrance” blend.

It’s American-made candle craftsmanship with every ingredient out in the open.
