    Description

Pocket-Ready SPF 50 for Targeted Protection

Keep high-exposure areas covered wherever the day leads with the Wear SPF SPF 50 Sunscreen Sport Stick. The compact solid format glides over the face, ears, lips, and body without spills or messy hands.

    The Story behind Wear SPF

WEAR SPF began with a deeply personal experience. After a melanoma scare in 2019, professional golfer Justin Thomas realized that sun protection wasn't something to take lightly. Instead of simply endorsing another sunscreen, he partnered in creating a brand whose mission extends beyond selling SPF—it encourages people to apply, reapply, and schedule regular skin checks.

That purpose is reflected throughout the brand. WEAR SPF develops lightweight, high-performance formulas designed for real life outdoors, whether you're on the golf course, hiking a trail, spending a day on the water, or coaching from the sidelines. The focus is on products that people actually enjoy wearing, making it easier to build healthy sun protection habits.

What makes WEAR SPF especially meaningful is that every purchase also helps support the Justin Thomas Foundation, extending the brand's impact beyond skincare into programs that benefit children, military families, and junior golf.

That's exactly why WEAR SPF belongs at My American Goods®: an American-made brand combining high-performance sunscreen, personal purpose, and a commitment to helping people enjoy the outdoors more safely.

    Pocket-Size

Pocket-sized, love that! Works well to provide spot sun protection for exposed areas such as ears, nose and face. It's water resistant, easily absorbs, and is sweat-resistant for up to 80 minutes.

    Small but Portable

This is a travel sized sunscreen that is good for carrying in your purse or pocket. It glides on well, but does feel a bit greasy and smells like, well, sunscreen. I don’t know why, but the smell of sunscreen makes me feel yucky. It functions well , like a mini stick of deodorant. It does the job, but seems pricey for being travel sized.

Easy to apply but not dry to the touch

I do really like the ease of use of this sunscreen. It applies just like a deodorant stick and is super simple to put on your face and other parts. It does not require any touch of the sunscreen so it keeps your hands clean. In my tests on a few bike rides, the sunscreen seems to work well at blocking the sun and stays put. I did not have any issues with it getting in my eyes or running with sweat.I am not fond of the fact that it stays kinda greasy feeling so anytime you touch your face it feels kinda oily or greasy like. I prefer the dry to the touch types of sunscreen, so it is just my preference. As for the price at time of testing, it is a little bit of a more of a premium product and is very packable in a toiletries bag so in turn it is a little bit pricier than other sunscreens (but it is on par with the price of the premium ones).Overall it is a great sunscreen but it is not one that I prefer. If you don’t mind the feel on the skin than this one is for you, if you like dry to the touch sunscreen then you might not like this one.

    Perfect size for the range

I knew about the product because of Justin Thomas' skin cancer scare and knew he launched this line, not hadn't tried any of the products yet.I tend to reapply my sunscreen every two hours when golfing and I'm very happy with this. I took it to the range today and it is the perfect size to fit in my pocket so it's always handy and easy to reapply.Easy to apply, unscented, glides on easily, and the perfect size to keep handy in my pocket while golfing.

    Clear stick

The media could not be loaded.

Unlike a lot of sticks I've tried, this one is clear. The benefit to clear over white is that you don't have weird streaks or struggle to smooth out the white. However, clear makes it difficult to ensure you have thoroughly covered every area and mixed it in well enough and evenly. I have a video to show how it went on. It's a smooth roll with occasional pieces that may break off (this will happen less in warmer weather). I used it on my face under makeup before tanning. My makeup went on fine, and I have no sign of issues from exposure. I also didn't break out. A lot of facesticks break me out. Places like the beach over the summer will be the real test, but so far, so good.

    Sunscreen stick are the best!

Sunscreen that comes in stick form is the best. It’s easy to apply. No yucky sunscreen sticking to your fingers and hands. Easy to apply with no clean up. This bottle is compact and easy to store.

    Not your best choice economically

I like to use stick sunscreen because it doesn’t get in your eyes and make them burn. This sunscreen works. Given I live in sunny Florida, protecting your skin is important. There are a couple issues. First this (like any stick sunscreen) will make you feel like you have a layer of stuff on your skin. Often this results in me sweating on my face. This stick is no exception to that. Some folks aren’t as effected by this as I am. The second issue I have with this is that for $10 they give you 0.5 oz. For $9 I can buy a name brand product of the same SPF 50 and get 1.5 oz. I really can’t justify buying this again unless I specifically need a tiny package for some reason. I recommend you just shop the prices.

80 minute water resistance, made in the USA, small pocket size.

This small size sunblock stick is water resistant for 80 minutes, easy to apply and does not irritate sensitive skin. Small size is convenient to carry in your bag, backpack, or pocket to have handy if you're kayaking, paddle boarding, biking, or hiking. Very pricey for only 1/2 ounce, 1.75 x 2.6 inch size.

    Perfect purse size

This stick is small, which makes it perfect for one's purse so you're never without sunscreen. The ingredients are standard for sunscreen. From a cost perspective, is it in line with the name-brand stick sunscreens you would find in stores.

    Sunscreen stick

This is a nice option for applying sunscreen on the go. It's a very small stick at .5oz but it only requires a very thin layer so it lasts longer than a deodorant stick. The stick is the length of the container. It goes on good and is perfect for activities like golf or just when you're out and need to apply a few places like your face, arms, and neck. It wouldn't be practical for your entire body.

A little smaller than expected, but pretty portable

When I saw this in its listing, it looked like a stick of deodorant, so that is kind of what I was expecting. I guess I didn't really look close enough. I was quite surprised when I opened the box and saw how small it was. Now, the optimist in me can see that as a good thing because, since it is about the size of my keyfob, that means I can carry it in my front pocket. When I ordered it, I honestly wasn't expecting it to have that kind of portability. The pessimist in me sees it as I paid a bit more for it that I thought I was.Just out of curiosity, I fully extended it to see how much I really got in relation to the actual container. In the picture is the full amount extended out of the container.I won't know how well it actually works until summer, but SPF 50, I hope it should work ok. I will update this review after we have some sun and I have an opportunity to use it.

This works great, lasts awhile, and applies easily. Only issue is the small size of it.

    Great, clean product!

Spend a lot of time in the sun playing competitive golf. Huge fan of Justin Thomas on the PGA Tour so his skin cancer story motivated me to be more conscious in protecting my skin. The fact he took his story and started this brand with good quality products is a nice reminder of athletes using their platforms to help.As a competitive golfer myself, Wear SPF is my go to. I use the sport stick on the back of my hands, face and ears for extra coverage.Definitely the go to sunscreen for me in the golf bag and on the go!

    Sunscreen Stick

My nose always gets sunburnt so I am always looking for a good travel size sunscreen to carry. This has worked well so far. It is small enough to keep in my pocket or wife’s purse. It has been easy to apply and doesn’t feel overly greasy. I can tell something is on my skin, but it’s not irritating.

    Great for on the go~

I got into the habit of wearing sunscreen because Texas sun is brutal. I’ve tried other dry sticks and they’re so convenient to use them and they don’t tend to become greasy. Using cream based was always a hassle and that one time you didn’t put the cap on tight, it’s a memorable mess.Even though this stick is smaller than I usually get, it works perfectly fine.Too early to try this out with water, but so far so good for on the go. Traveling with this being so compact and the best part is that it really melts in your skin enough without white cast. Will definitely recommend and buy.

    Small but Portable.

This sunscreen is a little on the small side. That being said, it is very portable. It's easy to throw in a backpack or purse and take up virtually no room at all.It spreads easy enough, no real issues there. I use this to reapply midday so I don't have to carry around the regular liquid sunscreen. This way I have something a bit more portable that I can use to reapply when needed.Overall, this is a really nice sunscreen. A bit pricey for the size, but it is very portable.

    Perfect for reapplying when out.

I didn't realize this was so small but it sure is a great way to get someone to finally use sunscreen. When my partner goes fishing, he puts on sunscreen at the beginning of the day but never reapplies. He can slip this in his pocket and have it right on hand when he needs it. Good idea.

Small but convenient, better for body

This stick is quite small but what makes it small also makes it convenient! It fits easily in a pocket for sunscreen touch ups. It spreads easily but does not sink in all the way so it kind of felt like there was some grease or a film on your skin. I’d probably use this mostly for body, or to touch up my face sunscreen in a pinch if I don’t have my more cosmetically elegant one on hand. It is easy to apply but since you aren’t spreading it around with your hands you have to be more vigilant to make sure you didn’t miss any spots. A bit expensive for the size but a good product overall.

    Teeny but convenient

It’s teeny tiny, but will fit in a purse perfectly. Also, it’s super convenient for travel and standing in lines in the bright sunshine.Perfect for the diaper bags and easy to apply on those fun days at the park. There is no big mess.It lasts longer than it looks like.

It’s small but works well on the go

Like many others, I was really surprised how small this was when it arrived. It would be great to toss in a purse for on the go, or really for any travel. I tested how it applies and it glides pretty easily. Nice to have on hand if you need to apply to small areas, but it would take a lot of product if you needed to cover a lot of surface area.

    Small size

This sunscreen is very small and kind of pricey for it's size, but honestly a lot of other nicer brands are comparably priced. This goes on easily and clear, feels a tad greasy at first but then absorbs in well. There is hint of a smell to it but definitely not overpowering at all and doesn't seem to linger. Haven't gotten a chance to fully test the protection level as it's been rainy and cold here lately but will update.
