I’m someone with two issues in the summer - high sun sensitivity/skin sensitivity and dry skin. How my skin can be dry in the midst of summer is beyond me, but it is.Finding effective facial sunscreens that protect my skin well enough without irritating it is challenging. Add to that trying to find ones that aren’t greasy or gross feeling and it’s almost impossible. So I didn’t have high hopes going in trying this, but wow am I glad to be proved wrong.To start, it did not irritate my skin in the least. If anything, it felt like spreading on a nice moisturizing balm. It was smooth with a nice glide, and while I could feel the layer on my skin I wouldn’t say it felt “greasy”. It was also so easy to apply.The sun protection it offered seems to be well suited to me as well, as I walked a nearby town festival and didn’t end up looking like a tomato after and hour. Throughout the day my skin felt more moisturized than normal and didn’t get the usual sun irritation I’m prone to on sunny days. I did reapply it twice throughout the day though.All in all I love this stick, and the fact that it’s so easy to carry with me just delights me to no end. I can’t wait to take it with me to a music festival next month that I usually can’t carry sunscreen to!

This sunscreen has a lip balm like consistency that feels slightly sticky right after application but dries clean. It is water resistant, though it is hard to gauge exactly how long since it soaks in quickly. I absolutely love a sunscreen stick for easy of application and convenience. Just so easy! No fussing or fighting or wrestling the children for sticky or oily creams that take forever to run in or leave a white cast. This is such a good solution. No fragrance (great for our kids with sensitive skin) and it just goes on smooth and clear and clean. Rolls up like a chapstick or a gluestick and you have quick and easy sun protection. Love this especially for faces and ears.

This is a great on the go SPF option. I hate the feel of lotion on my hands, so the feel of SPF on my hand is a whole other beast. Spray SPFs are super messy and get everywhere. In comes a stick version that is non-greasy, which is HUGE in TX heat. It's lightweight, doesn't break me out, and eliminates a messy fuss all over my hands. I was horrible at reapplying SPF to be honest until this product. Amazing since some SPF can feel yucky on the skin or dry out my skin even more. TX heat didn't not melt this off right away. A quick disinfectant wipe to keep it clean and you are good to go!

Oh wow, I love how much easier this is to apply than liquid or spray sunscreen! Liquid makes a mess, in my opinion, and with spray sunscreen, I'm always somehow getting some blown back on me or sprayed onto other things in the vicinity besides skin. This stick format is genius! It gives you far better control without the hassle. The small size makes it great for keeping in your bag to be able to whip out whenever it's time to reapply. Why weren't these around when I was growing up?Like I said above in the review title, this still has that sunscreen smell to it and does leave your skin with that slightly greasy feeling, but it's not so bad once you rub it in a bit and then give it some time to absorb, much like traditional sunscreens. However, I wouldn't go so far as to call it a matte finish, my skin where this has been applied has stayed looking slightly shiny. I haven't noticed any white cast though, which is fantastic. Normally I feel the need to dock some points from the overall rating when things in reality don't quite match the given description, but even though this is still shiny and not matte, I love it so much otherwise that I'm still giving this 5 stars.My one other quibble is one that I suspect is going to be true of most, if not all, stick sunscreens, not necessarily just this one, and it's that it attracts hair like crazy. I think I would die of embarrassment if I loaned it to a friend at the beach or something and they found some of my hair. I know, it probably doesn't make a lot of sense to be anxious about some possible loose peach fuzz or an arm hair, but it's something I wouldn't worry about with other forms of sunscreen. But let's be honest, I'm no social butterfly, so I'm probably not going out with anyone besides family so it probably won't ever come up for me, but I did want to mention it for anyone else who is a sunscreen stick newbie and might feel the same way.

This is so small and so easy to travel with! I love that I can toss this in a carry-on or an overnight bag and not have to worry about it leaking (because it's a solid). Brilliant! And, this truly is fragrance free. Do I wish it were coconut or banana scented ... yes! But, this means that people who are sensitive to scent will be able to use this. That's smart!This applies silky smooth, is clear, and is much less noticeable than some of my other sunscreens. And, this does protect! I went out running in a UV 4. No pinkness, no burning, no tanning ... just protection. Fabulous! A really handy, outstanding sunscreen!

Super glide-y, completely unscented, and doesn’t mess with your makeup, it's so cute and functional. I keep it on my desk for reapplying during the day (sun comes in my window) but it’s tiny enough to live in your belt bag for walks, errands, or outings. Love that it feels hydrating without leaving a greasy film. I have no problem using it on my lips either (no taste)

texture is awful but it works. great on the go sunscreen for reapplication throughout the day, leaves no cast but makes face kind of shiny (not in an oily way per se, it's difficult to explain.)

Perfect texture! Not sticky, goes on so easily, good coverage, and blends clear. I need these in all my bags. Love that it was fragrance free and felt very “clean”.

Worth the price? 3.5/5Would I buy again? 3.75/5Getting sunscreen on kids can be a messy task. Having a roll on bar that can do that job definitely reduces the pain of that. The price is on par with what I would expect sunscreen like this to be at, and if the claims are true it holds for just as long as others as well. The only pain is that if you have a little one who doesn't like things on their face, application can be challenging to their faces. Otherwise, not a bad sunscreen to have in a travel bag.

The best, clear, smooth, easy to use

As someone who takes a medication that causes me to burn easily, I’ve tried a lot of sunscreens. Bask is by far the best! I like the stick for quick & easy touch-up’s, but love all their products. Highly recommend!

I love this sunscreen stick. It's so easy to use for days when you're on the go. It feels like I'm actually getting enough sunscreen on my face to protect it when I use this compared to a spray. I will say that you have to be gentle if you're using this over makeup though, because it can rub powder off if you aren't careful. It also doesn't irritate my eyes and is pretty sweat resistant.

I appreciate the listing focusing on use during the cold. So many people think you don't need sunscreen in the winter "because it's cold". We used this sunscreen on a recent beach trip!I thought it might irritate the kid's and babies faces, but they were totally fine !It was hot, but very windy. This bask sunscreen seemed to protect their skin from drying out from the wind/ hydrating it, AND they didn't get burnt! It rolled on a little harder than some, but worked well. Also, the ingredients are cleaner that a lot of other brands. This stuff may be a bit expensive, but it's worth the price !
