How to Use Elan Pure's Self-Tanner

Prepare Your Skin

Exfoliate your skin using Elan Pure’s Exfoliating Mitt (ideally 24 hours before you apply your tan).
After your shower, ensure your skin is clean and dry.
Apply lotion only to key areas: hands, elbows, knees, and feet.
Apply the Tan

Grab your tanning mitt.
Shake the bottle before use.
Add the tanning product to your mitt, then apply 1 layer to your skin in a circular motion.
Develop the Tan

Wait 6-8 hours for your tan to fully develop.
One layer delivers a lovely, natural look.
Two layers achieve a deeper tan.
Build Your Tan (if you want!)

Feel free to build upon your tan, whether it’s adding an extra layer the next day for a deeper tan or doing a light touch-up throughout the week to maintain your dewy glow.

Secret Hack: Tan your hands last, using only the mitt residue for the outer areas of your hands, then finish with lotion all over to blend it in. This prevents your hands from looking darker than your body or having orange palms.

    BEST self tanner!!!!

    This is the best self tanner! I’ve tried expensive and cheap tanners only to have streaks, smell and an orange color body! This has a very light, sweet smell while applying but quickly goes away. The tan comes in about 4 or so hours after applying. It’s a very nice, new tan color. Not orange at all! I’m white, my husband says pasty! So it takes a few applications to get a darker tan. Like all self tanners it takes a bit to dry so it feels sticky until then. But that’s all self tanners. I stand in front of a fan and it sets faster. It has a very natural looking color and has some staying power. My husband did not say anything about my self tanning and he always does because of the smell. I like to reapply every day for week to build up and then reapply every 3 days or so if I’m not gonna be in the sun. If I’m the sun and getting color then I apply once a week just to maintain consistency or not at all. Just love that it does not have any smell or any of the bad stuff. I will only buy Elan from now on! Very happy!

    Perfectly naturally colour and fade off

    I adore this tan, it’s so amazing that it’s non toxic and you don’t have to feel guilty putting it on your skin. I’ve used fake tan pretty much every day for most of my adult life and I even ship this to the UK from America.I’m Irish so naturally very pale, so I do need to apply a few coats to get my desired darker colour. However it’s so buildable it’s easy to do.My absolutely favourite thing is how the tan fades off, no awful patches, no streaky orange bits— honestly I must have tried every brand by now and this fades off like a natural tan.There is no real colour guide when applying and that did worry me at first, but the colour is so natural I’ve not had any noticeable application issues. Absolutely love it and can’t wait for the whole range to be available internationally in Ireland and the UK
