    Misc. Goods Playing Cards

A Classic Deck, Reimagined by Hand

The Misc. Goods Playing Cards are where Misc. Goods Co. began. Originally designed in 2012 and launched on Kickstarter, this deck laid the foundation for the brand’s entire design philosophy: useful goods with a real point of view.

Every suit, symbol, and character was redesigned by hand, transforming a familiar everyday object into something more thoughtful, artful, and lasting. Ten years later, the deck was revisited with a new perspective and introduced in color for the first time — familiar in function, richer in palette, and more alive in the hand.

Manufactured by the United States Playing Card Company in Erlanger, Kentucky, each deck is printed on sustainable BEE paper stock using vegetable-based inks. The cards are finished with an air-cushion coating and premium linen texture for smooth handling, durability, and long life.

Designed by Tyler Deeb, this 56-card poker-size deck is made to be used and enjoyed — whether for poker night, solitaire, building a house of cards, or simply appreciating the original artwork.

These are playing cards, elevated: practical, collectible, and beautifully made.

What Makes Misc. Goods Co. Special

    to my american goods®

Misc. Goods Co. stands out because it is built around a rare kind of discipline: make fewer things, make them better, and make them worth keeping. Founder Tyler Deeb started with a redesigned deck of playing cards, but that first project grew into a broader design studio creating fragrance, leather goods, home scent, body care, and everyday objects — all rooted in the belief that design is a privilege and should be handled with care.

What makes the brand especially aligned with My American Goods® is its commitment to clarity, usefulness, and American craftsmanship. Misc. Goods Co. designs products to be held, used, and remembered, with careful attention to materials, form, packaging, and how each object fits into someone’s day. They make products in their Louisville, Kentucky studio workshop when possible and work with skilled U.S. producers and manufacturers when specialized partners are needed.

This is not a brand chasing trends or producing endless novelty. It is a design-led company built around quality, restraint, fragrance, objects, and goodness as a real operating principle.

That’s exactly why it fits My American Goods®: thoughtful American design, useful everyday goods, and products with the kind of quiet quality customers remember.
