So this was my first time using tallow, and let me tell you.. I’m mad that I’ve waited this long! I love the fact that it’s natural, and that it literally has just the one ingredient and then a simple added fragrance. I have really sensitive skin so I always have to be careful with what I use, so I was really happy that I had no issues with this and it made my skin feel so soft! At first I was scared that it was going to make me oily or greasy but not at all. It absorbed nicely into my skin, though I did have to rub it in for a little bit. The texture and consistency reminds me of cool whip but a little thicker… but it definitely is whipped! It feels fresh and even though I’m not a huge lavender fan, the smell is great. It’s subtle and not overwhelming and actually smells nice, which surprised me honestly. Once it’s on it also leaves your skin with a nice glow too!The size of the jar is huge and since you don’t need to use a lot at all, it should last me a long time! Well hopefully because I plan on using it to keep my skin hydrated and moisturized!Now I probably won’t use this on my face because it’s super sensitive and I already have issues with clogged pores. Either way though it’s perfect for what I got it for so I’m very satisfied!

This 24 fl oz cream feels soft on my skin. It's texture is fluffy and moisturising, and is lightly scented. The ingredients are simple: beef tallow, fragrance. A little goes a long way. I actually notice a soft glow on my skin. Overall, this quality product is a 5. I'm comfortable with the price because it comes in a large and sturdy easy-to-store jar.

I am always looking for the best product to moisturize my hands and feet in the winter. My skin gets so dry and watery lotion just will not do the job.This whipped tallow has a wonderful texture that is thicker than typical lotion, but not as greasy or heavy as some tallow products. The closest thing I can compare it to is the whipped cream cheese products you can get to put on bagels. It is both light and breathable and yet thick and creamy at the same time. It goes on smoothly and soaks in completely within a few minutes. It leaves my skin super soft and I think it will work well to help with the dry cracks I get in my fingers and heels.There is a light, fresh scent that is not overpowering. It feels like a very premium product and comes in a huge jar which I feel makes it a great value. I am impressed with this product and definitely recommend it if you struggle with dry skin and want a natural product with a wonderful texture.

Oh my goodness, can I give this 10 stars -- 5 for the smooth soft finish on my skin and another 5 for the delightful lavender scent? I am so glad I got the large container.I love lavender. I've tried quite a few products that miss the mark on that scent, this is most definitely not one of them - it is dreamy! The texture is fluffy and smooth. It goes on easy, absorbs without a greasy feel and leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth while smelling delightful. I am looking for a good facial moisturizer and will be giving this a go to see if it agrees with my sensitive skin without causing breakouts - it is by far the most natural option I've seen.Love love love that this product is made in the USA. The ingredient list? Two things, tallow and fragrance; no weird chemicals I can't pronounce, no parabens. This is an item that I would rave about if I received it as a gift.

Love! I’ve been using this the last several days and could not be more impressed! Huge jar! It has a very light, airy texture… kind of almost like a shaving cream… but once it hits the warmth of the skin, it liquifies. It spreads over the skin nicely and after a few minutes completely absorbs into my skin. I’ve been using it on my feet and already notice a difference in my callouses from dancing! In addition, it has a very clean citrus smell with a hint of the lavender. If you like Clinique’s Happy fragrance like me, you’ll really enjoy the scent! It smells strong as you’re first applying it but fades to a really nice subtle scent once absorbed. Best part, no irritation with my super sensitive eczema-prone skin!As for shipping, it came within days in a little cardboard box and exactly as described! This may become a new holy grail product in my house!

All natural ingredients primary of which is of course beef tallow, she says it smells amazing, a little goes a long way, That just a little bit on her fingers will do her hands and face, it's very thick and smooth and very high quality and does a great job moisturizing. She's very very happy with the stuff she's been talking about it since it showed up.

This whipped tallow has the texture of a whipped cake frosting. I like that it contains only two ingredients: beef tallow and lavender essential oil. No unpronounceable and possibly carcinogenic chemicals. It does have a fairly long, and relatively long-lasting lavender scent. Since lavender is supposed to be a relaxing scent, it might be especially good to use shortly before bedtime.It absorbs rapidly into the skin. It is currently selling for under $1.50 an ounce which is an excellent price for beef tallow.

This stuff is fantastic! I know it says face and body cream but its a little bit too greasy for my face so I don't use it on my face unless I'm treating a sunburn (which is works so good for!), but as a body cream, this stuff is magic. My heels get so dry and cracked, even in the winter and just a small amount of this takes care of it. We got home from vacation and I started peeling a little bit and I started using this a couple times a day and it completely took care of it, no more peeling or itchiness. It is so hydrating and keeps your skin so soft and smooth. It does go on a little bit greasy but it once it soaks in, there's no more oiliness left behind which is why I will use it on my face if its extremely dry or if I'm treating a sunburn; it just takes a little while to soak in. The lavender smell is noticeable but not overpowering, really gentle and realistic smelling. My daughter loves rubbing some on her skin before bed, she swears it helps her sleep better. The tub it comes in is very large and you need only a small amount since it sort of melts in your hands as you rub it in so it will last a long time. I got my mom hooked on it now and would recommend it to anyone who struggles with dry skin!

This is by far the best whipped tallow and for the best price! I’ve tried a lot of local and other trending kinds and they do not compare! Smells amazing too!!!

I absolutely love this tallow cream. It has a light, airy consistency, smells great, isn’t greasy at all, and spreads easily on the body. What I like most is that it contains only a few ingredients, and it has helped with my dry skin.

Okay I’ve been hearing about tallow and never tried it until now. This company nailed it! From the heavy duty sturdy glass jar, cute label and seal to ensure you know the product has been sealed, the heavenly lavender scent that isn’t too overpowering once you put it on and it being whipped and silky yet not greasy at all and didn’t stain my bamboo sheets . I really enjoyed this product. It has something I would definitely order as a gift and be proud of giving. I’d much rather buy this then something from bath & body works again for someone

I wasn't sure about using tallow as a moisturizer. However, this is wonderful. It is not greasy at all and my skin is so soft and smooth after using it. The scent is nice and not overpowering. It arrived nicely packaged and looks like whipped cream. A little goes a long way, so, this container will likely last me months. This a great natural way of fighting dry skin - especially during those winter months when we all have dry skin. The ingredients are simple, tallow and scent. Fantastic.

I am in love with this whipped tallow! The texture is like fluffy whipped butter and it keeps my skin so soft. I have always liked tallow as a moisturizer because of how well it absorbs and keeps my skin moisturized, but this is the first time I’ve tried it whipped. It makes it so easy to spread and absorb.It has a nice lavender smell and I like that it doesn’t have any other ingredients besides the tallow and the essential oil. I got the 24 oz container and it is a great value. It is so big, it will last me a while even though I plan to use it every day. My skin is glowing!

Lady May continues to impress with their line of very accurate smelling whipped tallow creams. I'm a big fan of using lavender scented products just before bedtime to help lull me into sleep, and when I opened this huge jar (it's seriously gigantic), I was so pleasantly surprised to discover that it's unlike most of my other lavender products, in that it smells exactly, and I mean, EXACTLY, like real lavender. That, to me, indicates that this company is using real essential oils, as opposed to synthetic chemical analogues, which I very much appreciate. If you love the scent of real lavender flowers, you will love, love, love this cream.The texture, as with all Lady May whipped tallows I've tried so far, is absolutely perfect. It's very fluffy and soft, super creamy, and just kind of melts into the skin. Because it's animal fat and doesn't seem to spread as well as synthetic lotions or creams, even if my skin is warm, I rub it all over my hands, let it melt into my skin for a minute or two, and then go back and rub my hands together and up onto my forearms. By that time, it's truly warmed through, spreads very easily and covers more surface area. It does leave hands feeling a bit greasy, but that's to be expected, since it's pure fat and essential oil - there's not much to get around oil feeling like oil.I've said this in my other reviews of Lady May products, but a 24 oz. jar could very well last a lifetime for those of us who are only using a fingernail-sized scoop of this once a day. I may actually end up decanting this into smaller jars for ease of use/travel so that I can bring this to work with me. The way this is packed into a carboard box with bubble wrap is very nice, and I super pleased that it comes in a glass jar instead of plastic, so that I don't have to worry about weird chemicals leaching into my cream over time. There's a small piece of foam between the jar and the lid to keep the product from leaking out, though that shouldn't happen unless it liquifies in the heat of summer (and at that point, you would lose the whipped texture, sadly). The label design looks a bit cheap - like something you might get at the dollar store or like an old scented candle label from the 90's - but, just like momma said, it's what's on the inside that counts.Price for the quantity and quality is stellar. I've paid way more for way less, and this stuff just feels pure and wonderful.

Knowing it’s lovingly made in small batches with just two natural ingredients (grass-fed tallow and that lovely scented essential oil) makes me feel good about what I’m putting on my body, no junk or preservatives.Since hitting menopause, my facial skin has been so dry and irritated, but this has helped a lot. It hydrates deeply and calms everything down overnight. I’ve tried tons of creams including many tallow based products, but this is the one I keep reaching for. Wow! My daughter and I both tried this at the same time and we are both in love with how soft and silky it makes your skin feel. I especially love that it is all natural and doesn't have a lot of bad ingredients and chemicals. It also doesn't have a strong smell which I really appreciate. It moisturizes and absorbs well!

This review is for Lady May's Lavendar Whipped Tallow (24oz) for $35.00.This tallow arrives in a large plastic container - right out of the jar, my thought was that it reminded me of whipped butter (makes sense since it is whipped) - it has the same weight and texture. A tiny bit goes a long, long way.For me (personally), I think it would be a bit too greasy to use as a face cream - even after spending some time rubbing it into the back of my hand, it still felt a bit oily. As a night-time cream on rough elbows and dry winter skin, though, I think it would be much better. The lavender is a nice, natural smell - not overpowering and not like some products with added fragrances that completely take over.The 24oz jar will last a very long time - I think it's a great bang for the buck. No complaints.

Comes in a good quality glass jar with a cute label so I can leave it on the vanity. I can tell how thick the moisturizer is just by looking through the jar - it's very thick. I love that the moisturizer has a simple ingredient list - basically beef tallow and the scent. Based on the size of the jar, this appears to be a good value. I feel comfortable that this product is made by an American company because I get nervous buying beauty products on Amazon because they are often of questionable origin. I haven't used it yet because it's a holiday gift but once it's opened, I will come back to comment on the scent.
