I’ve been trying to find a non toxic, clean hair pomade for my son for a year and finally found it! My son has thick, super straight hair and all products I’ve tried just makes his hair lay flat and look oily. Look at that spike! I used a dime size, warmed in palms and evenly distributed throughout. The texture is thick and creamy, It’s easy to use and easy to wash out of hands. For the amount that you need to use, I believe it worth the money. The real test will be when he gets home from school as he sweats a lot especially with this hot weather- triple digits. I’ll update soon to see if it held up all day.UPDATE: November 2024Still love this pomade and it holds all day! What I love about it, is that it does not look greasy. It also smells really nice, not to overpowering. Buy it! It’s worth it. I also use it on my younger son and daughter to fix those fly aways.😁

I'm new to clay pomades, and really most hair products outside of hair oils. but I just got a funky haircut with a heap of layers that I wanted to emphasize.I'm not using this product to tame my hair at all. I want it a little wild. and the way that I'm using this product is giving me the results I want.I'm rubbing about a dime sized amount on the tips of my fingers, then twisting it in to the bottoms of my layers, adding a little scrunching at the end, and that's giving my new do the definition I'm looking for.okay, okay, ya'll, I'm not surprised the scent got mixed (like mostly bad tho) reviews. but I'm over here huffing my hair because it smells so darn good. I LOVE the smell. but I, personally, like earthy scents and this is like "citrus in the woods" or "flower patch in the forest" or something. de-lish.purchase, enjoy, take care :)

I use it with wet hair before blow drying and it’s been a really good medium hold. Looks matte. Works on dry hair as well, but feels like it can make dry hair look a little shiny/greasy.

This stuff is just what I’ve been looking for. Strong hold, but still keeps my hair soft to the touch. I can restyle throughout the day by running my fingers through it.I really love the fresh smell but it does fade away after a few minutes. The ingredients are as close to natural as I could find. The shine is not too shiny, it’s just right. I’ve tried using matte pomades and they just make my hair look dry and lifeless.I’m half Asian and British, I would describe my hair as being thick and straight, and very hard to style. I literally only used a quarter size amount, warmed it in my hands and that’s all I needed. I usually use a lot more product with gels or other pomades.For me, paying this higher price is worth the ease of styling and not putting a load of harsh chemicals in my hair.It would be nice if they did lower the price for their continuous loyal customers!I hope this helps in your decision, have a great day!

This was my first experience with clay pomade and I had carried out many research before I purchased this one. It’s a wonderful clay pomade and nothing is equivalent to the quality and they have used honest ingredients. I love the smell of it and like the way it tame the unruly hairs and makes it perfect. This clay pomade is of matte finish and I highly recommend it for fine hair. Generally for coarse hair sheen and shiny pomades will work but for medium textured fine hair this is the best product that can make your hair look wonderful. Absolutely in love with this. works well, keeps those pesky flyaways away and helps with hair styling that doesn't make it look like a ton of product was put on. Has a nice scent.

Definitely creates volume and texture. The hold is ok. The weight is light.

Does a good job holding up my hair initially but it loses its effect throughout the day.

The pomade works very well with a strong but flexible hold. It is a bit hard to put into your hair. It sticks to your fingers and pulls your hair, so you have to apply it to wet hair and let it dry.

Great low shine hold but still flexible if needed. Washes out easily.

For all you girls with fine, long, wavy/curly hair this is your product to build body!!! A little bad will do you. Gives great texture.

Smells great! Use on ends of long fine hair before wrapping around heatless curling rods. Husband uses it on short thick hair. Also good for child's short fine hair to put into pony-tails. A little goes a long way, if you use too much your hair look greasy.

I have wavy hair with good volume, and can very much say this is the best hair product I have used. Nice smell. Great for strong hold. Low shine. Highly recommend!

i've tried a lot of options now, and this is the only one that doesn't either turn into normal hair or get all greasy by the end of the day. it also provides way more stand-up power than other options. basically it's leaps and bounds better than every alternative that i foundi just need to figure out what to do with the drawer full of others now

I use this to scrunch out my curl gel once my hair is dry. It removes the crunch and gives my fine waves/curls some nice volume.

So clean, great all day hold that you can run your fingers through. Smells great.

I have been looking for a product for curly/wavy men’s hair forever that requires little to no work. I use it and it last for days. Very healthy for hair. The key for me is that you don’t have to restyle the next day after a shower and wetting your hair because the product stays in. It doesn’t feel like build up which is good. It feels natural, hydrated and defined.

Works well for messy textured pixie cuts. Smells too strong and masculine though. Not great for women if you like fruity or feminine smelling hair.

i've been using this for almost a year now and i really like the clean formula of this product and how it makes my hair look. i like how it's not greasy but adds just enough sheen to my hair even after a day or two without shampoo. it also adds just enough volume without making my hair crispy or dull. it washes out easily and blow dries well too. one issue for me is the smell; it thankfully goes away after a little while but it's just not for me. it's hard to explain but it's subtly citrusy and like a beach sunscreen vibe with lemongrass.... not a win and almost jarring when you see how good the product makes your hair look and how nice it feels.

I've tried a million different hair products from typical target stylers to "top end" stuff. I recently picked this up and so far have enjoyed it, makes my hair feel fresh. It has a soft mandarin orange scent that when smelled directly was a little off-putting at first. However once emulsified and spread into the hair, it gives you VERY faint wafts of the orange smell as you move around, and it's incredibly pleasant. Packaging is also very nice, has nice weight to it and feels like a premium plastic container.

I didn't know I needed this until a tried it on my wavy/curly pixy cut. It adds so much texture and dimension to my hair.
