A Wild Foods, wild Ceylon cinnamon has a nice mild flavor. It is true cinnamon and a product of Sri Lanka. It is a 16 oz resealable bag, that contains 64 servings of 1 tablespoon. It is non gmo, gluten free, USDA organic, contains no fillers artifical ingrediants, or preservatives. A very versitle spice, I have been using in baking, coffee topping , and a variety of recipes. It is a mild flavored cinnamon, very smooth and tasty, and fresh.

I was skeptical, ok. I review a lot of products that make a lot of claims, and a lot of people claim to make real cinnamon when they don't.That is not these people.I'm no expert, but this cinnamon is a deeper, richer, redder hue than the other bottle in my cabinet. You could chalk that up to age easily, but the second I opened this, my entire house filled with the deepest, warmest cinnamon smell. It's not like the other cinnamons. There is something just warmer and almost floral about this. I'm so so pleased.Even for someone like me who has a household full of folks who love cinnamon, this is a lot. This should last me the rest of this year if I don't drop it and spill it, and I bake it all the time. I also put it in hot cocoa, curries, and all sorts of other foods.

I use Ceylon cinnamon regularly with all my cooking. For that reason and due to its lower levels of coumarin making safer to use. Additionally, I am diabetic and is suppose to be a better option

This cinnamon is so fragrant and light and the same time. It's hard to describe, but it is so different than the cheap stuff that I'm used to from the supermarket. It's going to go well in my oatmeal, baked goods, coffee and anywhere I could use a dash of cinnamon.

This is a heck of a lot of cinnamon! 1 pound package. It is very fragrant and flavorful. Far better than the grocery store brand.

A fantastic cinnamon powder for baked goods. I use this in my pastry sourdough loaves regularly now and it is fantastic. It reminds me of cinnabun flavor cinnamon. It has a lot of flavor so it must be quite fresh. And 1lb of cinnamon gose a very long way - so this will last you quiet a while. That makes it a great value for money as well.The smell is that of a decadent cinnamon roll.The texture is a very very fine hydrophobic powder - as is expected for a good cinnamon powder.

Before experiencing this bag of Wild Ceylon Cinnamon, I thought that all ground cinnamon was basically the same. I learned that there are 2 types of Cinnamon, 1) Ceylon and 2) Cassia. I think that I have always used the Cassia variety without realizing that there was a difference. Ceylon has more health benefits, it is known as "true Cinnamon", Ceylon cinnamon has a milder flavor, and a very fragrant aroma, it smells wonderful upon opening the zippered bag. I use a lot of cinnamon for baking, so I am delighted with a 1 lb bag. I made Cinnamon toast for breakfast and added some cinnamon sugar to my oatmeal, too. I feel like this bag of Cinnamon is a gift from Sri Lanka. It is grown by farmers on small farms and is the highest quality premium organic cinnamon powder.

This is a smooth, mild cinnamon - not the same smack you in the face kind on those brooms sold around the holidays. ;) I found this excellent in homemade cinnamon bread, in appledsauce for a gently spiced version and to use in simmer pots to make the house smell nice and festive without being too spicy. You get a TON here, so if you use it a lot like I do (in breads, pho, etc) this will last you a loooooong time.

This is my first time trying true wild cinnamon, and as mentioned by many others, it is very different than what you find in the grocery store--much milder tasting with less bite. That said, this seems extremely fresh and the smell is wonderful upon opening the bag. I plan to use this for baking as that seems to be one of the preferred uses for this variety.

I always choose the Ceylon type of cinnamon because it is so much healthier than the Cassia type. If you are used to the lower quality Cassia type you may be surprised that this Ceylon cinnamon does not smell or taste as strong or peppery as you are used to with your Cassia cinnamon. Some people prefer the flavor of Cassia for baking, but it is not as healthy as Ceylon. The main concern about Cassia is that it contains about 1% coumarin, while Ceylon contains 250 times less which is almost undetectable. Since I use it every day for the health benefits, it would not be wise to consume all that coumarin that's in Cassia cinnamon.As Ceylon cinnamon goes, this brand is the superior quality that meets my standards; a it's USDA certified organic, single source product by a trusted producer with 10 year experience.

Good tasting, strong flavored. This cinnamon powder is just as expected. It is very finely ground so is perfect as a topping to beverages, cooked foods, or desserts. Easy to use with plenty of applications. Make sure to use it sparingly as the flavor is very strong. Adding too much does add a bit of bitterness, but use it right and it's perfect.

Ceylon cinnamon isn't the striking spice I normally think of when I hear cinnamon. This cinnamon is more sweet, with an earthy spiciness. If using in a regular recipe that calls for cinnamon, you will probably want to use more.This is a very good cinnamon, finely ground. The packaging is sturdy and the ziplock seal reseals well. Great cinnamon for beverages, giving some extra depth and a mild spicy zing. Good addition to the panty, either next to or replacing the regular cinnamon.

This ceylon cinnamon powder is wonderfully fresh and fragrant. It's perfect for adding to baked goods, teas, yogurt, and drinks. The flavor profile is lovely and it's sweet and not spicy. There is a decent amount of product in the resealable bag as well.

I ordered The Wild Ceylon Cinnamon Powder in a 16 ounce bag from the Wild Foods Store sourced in Sri Lanka. It is a solid purchase for a product I will frequently use.Strengths:1 Wonderful fragrance.2 Tastes good--like cinnamon should. The Ceylon cinnamon has a milder flavor than what you might typically get in the store (Saigon or Cassia). I used it in a bread pudding and it had a nice cinnamon flavor, though, IMHO, I thought I could tell that it had a milder cinnamon flavor than the store brand I use. (So if you want a cinnamon with a little more robust flavor, you may wish to consider other cinnamon.)3 At the time of order in February 2025, the price was about $20.00. This is actually a fair price when you consider it is 16 ounces of high grade cinnamon.Drawbacks:None at this time.

This is a lovely, fragrant spicy cinnamon perfect for avid bakers, especially if you love apples and other ingredients that go well with cinnamon. The resealable bag is a wonderful touch.

This cinnamon powder is fantastic. It has a nice smooth taste, good strength, mild sweetness, and tastes fresh.

Great tasting powder cinnamon, the bag is a plastic resealable bag and the powder is very fin which makes it easy for me to incorporate in my cooking, baking and drinks. It is USDA and CCOF Organic (California Certified Organic Farmers). You also get 16 oz currently for $18 which to me is fair price. Overall great tasing, very happy with this product and would order it again.

Wild Food Co. Ceylon cinnamon comes in a exo friendly resealable bag/pouch. Date printed on the package is October 2025 so about 8 months from receiving this. I wish it had a longer expiration date, but I hopefully use it by then.This cinnamon is of great quality. Smells so good and fresh, taste is awesome. I use cinnamon in lot of baking recipes, tea and hot milk and for sprinkling on various foods.I always make sure the cinnamon I get is Ceylon and this is it. Even better, it's organic and free from any cheap unnecessary fillers and preservatives.Price is very resealable for the quality you get.

I love cinnamon, probably more than the next guy. When I lake cinnamon rolls, I usually add four times the amount of cinnamon. Because of my love for cinnamon, I am concerned about making sure I am using the healthiest cinnamon, and my research tells me that The Ceylon Cinnamon of Sri Lanka is the healthiest of them all, having the healthiest portion of nutrients and the least toxins (a.k.a. coumarin). This is a great deal on a rather large amount of this wonderful cinnamon. I transferred it to a large 32-ounce jar, and it nearly filled the jar. I highly recommend this cinnamon for its flavor, health benefits, and freshness.

I love this cinnamon. It comes very finely ground, and the scent is fresh and powerful. I feel extra fancy knowing this is USDA organic and *wild*.
