Mineralized was created by James, a former physics researcher who approached deodorant as a chemistry problem rather than a branding exercise. After leaving his scientific career and spending two years traveling around the country, much of it outdoors, he became curious about the chemistry behind body odor and began researching whether mineral compounds found in spring water and the human body could be combined into a practical deodorant formula.
