HOW TO USE
Use a few drops daily on damp skin as a facial moisturizer. We recommend using our Sofia Mist first to dampen skin, then applying the Amla Booster Oil for maximum product absorption.
For super hydration and a glowy appearance, mix in a few drops with the Rosewater Cream.
To use as a scalp treatment to boost growth and hair health, apply to dry, clean scalp with a light circular massage. Wrap head with a warm towel and leave in place from one hour to overnight. Wash hair as usual.
To boost shine and tame frizz, apply 2-3 drops on your palms and distribute evenly on wet or dry strands paying particular attention to ends.

I love using oils in my skincare routine and I regularly use vitamin c on my face in the morning. This was my first time hearing about Alma oil and I was excited to try it because it contains a high amount of vitamin c in it, which I love using for brightening the skin. This oil it pretty lightweight and great for using in the morning. I apply it onto clean skin and follow up with a SPF lotion. The oil comes in a glass bottle and has a dropper style dispenser. While the bottle is fairly tiny, the oily has good spreadability and you don’t need much to cover your entire face. I have found that it has helped to clear up my skin as well as make my complexion look brighter. So far I’m loving this new way of getting vitamin c in my skincare routine!
You never see facial serums of oils having only 1 ingredient! That's incredible! I love that! I add a few drops of this in the evening to my facial serums or lotions or creams and it goes on well. It is a little oily but that is to be expect as it is an oil. It leaves my skin feeling so soft and moisturized! I absolutely love this! It definitely worth a try if you are looking for something new to add to your evening skincare routine!
I have never heard of Alma oil prior to MS Skincare. The fruit is also known as Indian Gooseberry and has been known for it's amazing benefits. However aside from anecdotes, I don't think there's scientific proof of its efficacy. The oil has an herbally smell. It's pleasant and not overpowering. Though, if you prefer fragrance free products, this isn't for you.The oil gives you a sheen, but never a greasy feeling. The oil absorbs to the skin very quickly and provides a nice occlusive barrier. Since I've been using this product for a few weeks, I can't say it's truly faded any scars or promoted hair growth, but it's very adoptable. The product feels luxurious. The herbal smell (while a preference) is comforting.
This moisturizer is VERY good. Has a very light citrus and warm spice smell to it. I’ve been using it on my face instead of my regular moisturizing lotion. I really like this oil. It’s very light and is not oily at all. Only takes a little and it absorbs quickly. I like how my face feels. You definitely want to use this sparingly. It’s also good for scalp health to prevent hair loss and to help promote hair growth. I haven’t used it in my hair, but I will try that. This bottle is going to last a long time. I had never heard of Amla. Glad I did. I will keep using this and buy it again.
I added 10 drops of this Amla oil to a rosemary/sage mixture I made for hairgrowth. I steeped a few sprigs of dried rosemary and sage in 3.5 cups boiling water. Once it cooled, I added everything to a quart mason jar and let it sit for 2 days in a cool dark place before adding it to a spray bottle. I spray my braided hair 3 times weekly. The amla oil added to the mixture softens my hair and soothes my scalp. This a quality oil, and a little goes a long way.
Amla oil is rich in Vitamin C, Vitamin E, and antioxidants, all of which might contribute to cellular regeneration and promote healthy circulation to the blood vessels in the scalp. These properties may help to facilitate hair and skin growth and boost the overall health of the scalp. This is a made in USA product, come in a well packaged bottle, it smells like herbal and spice, price seems higher than other brands but it's worth the money as it 100% cold press (better quality).
It's a very moisturizing serum! It's nice to be able to use it alone or with the option of adding it to boost your serums or creams. The smell is not the best, there's not really much of a smell but even then the smell that it does have isn't necessarily the greatest but I guess it is more on the natural end of things which is a positive. So don't expect this to smell soft or nutty or floral and anyway, it just smells like oil. But it does the job and it leaves your skin feeling fantastic so if you can put aside the smell of light oil then you'll be fine.
The oil was far more runny than expected, I thought it would be thicker.Regardless, it feels really good and it gives a very slight shine to the skin. It doesn't make it look greasy, it makes it look healthy!! I loved it!!So far so good for a 5/5 review!
This oil has a lovely scent that I would describe as herbal and spice. It absorbs in my skin easily and does leave an oil sheen. It definitely moisturizes. I researched this oil and it is made from a fruit from India. It is sized mostly in hair are products to help with dry scalp and keep sun damage at bay. It stand to reason with it antioxidant properties it would be good for the skin too. I like it.
This bottle comes in a 0.68 fl oz, not 68 as is labeled in the titlethe smell is kind of weird to me, almost smoky and acrid so I have not used it much but it says that you can combine it with your other moisturizers to use as a boosting formula so I may try that to avoid having to smell itit is moisturizing however its pretty thick so I don't know how comedogenic it is for people prone to breakout like me. it has a dark orange color and comes with a dropper so you can easily measure out a small amount to use at at time
i purchased this for a friend as a gift, once she told she like this product so much, thank you Amazone
I’ve recently started adding this into my skincare routine at night, on nights where I want a boost of hydration and don’t plan on using any actives or exfoliants. After throughly washing and toning, I dry my face completely and rub and massage a few drops of this on my face throughly. After letting it sit a few and soak in, I top off with some moisturizer so that my face can throughly get some overnight healing. Let me tell you, my skin has been absolutely glowing lately! Even what zit marks I do have are not much more easily hidden behind a tiny bit of makeup. I’m positive it’s because I’ve added this to my routine.now, ithink it smells like a straight up man forest.. it has a masculine and piney smell to it.. I don’t think it’s horrible. It also dissipates. The price is just right for this product to become a holy grail!
I am finding this as described, 100% Alma oil. I am mainly using it as it says on the bottle..as a booster to add to other cremes or even mixed with water. It's good for the scalp and hair growth but you'll want to wash it off pretty soon if it's on the scalp. I have mixed it with water and used on both hair and face. On my hair it leaves a nice glossy shine. I used it without water but it was better with, which is recommended. It doesn't look greasy if I avoid the scalp. (Just put water on your hand, add a drop and rub hands together.)I plan to add a drop to my hair conditioner and think that will work very well. As a face oil it leaves my skin a bit tacky feeling at first so is best for the night. Before bed I use an undiluted drop on the edges of my eyes and my eyes look better in the morning.
I like using oils with a gua sha or roller at the end of my nightly skin care routine. This oil works well for that. It feels nice in combination with my other products and it makes my face feel smooth and hydrated without being overly greasy. Once it absorbs it leaves my skin pretty soft and dewy. The only issue I have is that I don’t love the scent. It’s not super strong and it doesn’t linger but it’s not my favorite. Still this is a nice oil. It also works well on my hair and nails. It’s very hydrating and seems like a nice quality oil. And I’m always pleased to see products labeled as vegan and made in the USA.
I recently learned about Alma from my mom. She's been taking the powdered supplement to add to her morning tea to help keep her Diatbetes in check. I make sure to research products for her before she takes anything new. I was amazed by all of Alma's health and healing properties. I'm surprised I never heard of it before. So when this Alma oil showed up I was excited to try it for my skin and hair. This oil feels great on my skin. The first time applying it, I actually felt the sensation of the oil soaking into my skin, wrinkles and pores. It felt like it was hydrating my skin on the spot. The scent reminds me of something woodsy with a hint of herbal medicine. Something natural from the forest. I actually like it. I'll use it in the evenings as a plain moisturizer and also to spot treat some acne scars during the day before I apply sun screen. My skin is definitely improving. Now as for the hair, I've been adding a few drops to my rosemary oil and rubbing it into my scalp every other day. This is in addition to my Minoxidil treatment. This may take a while to notice any postive growth. But I'm hopeful considering what it's doing for my skin. This oil is also vegan and cruelty free. Formulated without GMO, parabens, dyes, bpa, phthalates, gluten and fragrance. I'm so relieved and grateful when I find a clean product. Thank you.
This is a great quality oil. The scent is mild. It’s ultra moisturizing and absorbs beautifully into the skin without being oily at all. It’s a very dry oil. Great for face, neck, backs of hands. No issues wearing under makeup. Great size bottle so very worth the price.
I have been using this skin booster for the past week on my face and must say for the first time I have begun to notice some clearing of a acne spot that has been stubbornly not wanting to heal. This in itself makes me happy. I have not tried on my hair because my hair is always so oily to begin with. The product has a nice subtle smell, almost kind of woodie, it's not sticky and goes on smoothly.
I added a few drops of this amla oil to a castor oil/olive oil preparation that I blend myself in order to moisturize my hair and scalp. I also add it to a basic lotion and use it on my skin. I find it to be too thick and rich for me to use without mixing it with a lighter oil or lotion. The oil has a spicy aroma that I like.
I love this facial oil. I usually apply it at the end of my routine as I enjoy the glow it leaves... My face is dry and sensitive and this hydrates but does not irritate like some serums do. I find that a little goes a long way and what's left I rub into my hands for some extra moisturization!
This oil makes my skin feel incredible. I was having extremely dry peeling skin while at the same time having a lot of shine in my t-zone. So I was nervous about applying an oil to my skin, but it did not just add to the oil on my face. It absorbed into my skin seamlessly and was also the perfect base for dermaplaning. My skin has not looked better in a while and I really think it’s thanks to this. It is a staple in the routine now.
Really nice oil. i'm not a fan of the scent but it gives great hydration. My skin is super dry and this leaves a really nice glow and hydration to my skin. i like to add this to my moisturizer and serums. Really nice product.
The quality of this oil is FANTASTIC. The first thing I noticed when I opened the bottle was the smell. It’s a slight nutty smell - not strong at all. Next, I applied some to my skin. It is so moisturizing and just MELTS into my skin. It does not leave my skin feeling greasy like most oils. It makes my skin look so glowing. I 100% recommend this oil to add to your skin care routine.
This oil is really nice! You can use this on your skin or on your hair. I love that this has multiple purposes. It has 1 ingredient in it which is Amal Oil. It feels really nice on my skin. It is pretty oily but it is an oil so that is to be expected. It does have kind of a weird scent to it which I’m not a fan of, but overall it’s really nice.
I'd not heard of amly oil - seems Amla oil is made by drying the fruit and soaking it in a base oil such as mineral oil. It is popular in tropical and subtropical countries but this is made in the USA. It can be used on the skin but it's mostly used as a hair tonic to prevent thinning. I used this as a hand cream since the backs of my hands can get so dry and sometimes flake. This oil has a lovely orange aroma.
Very well packaged and very high-quality. It’s soaks right in and it doesn’t feel greasy. The scent is hard to place… definitely smells “eastern”… a bit “spicy”, but really pleasant. I know it sounds kind of strange, but it is what you would think an exotic belly dancer would smell like… It’s funny, but it’s true… “patchouly-esque”…
