    Kindly Woven feels almost purpose-built for My American Goods® because American manufacturing isn't simply an origin label for this brand—it's part of why the company exists.

    Founder Laura Adams has spent more than three decades working in textiles, learning both the artistic and technical sides of weaving. Her career began as the industry was transitioning from hand-painted designs and punch cards to computer-aided textile design, giving her a rare understanding of how artwork ultimately becomes woven cloth.

    After years working with major brands, Laura kept seeing the same problem: the artists who created the designs were often invisible behind the finished product and weren't always compensated in proportion to the value of their work. Kindly Woven became her answer—a studio where independent designers are credited, compensated, and treated as genuine creative partners.

    The other half of that mission is American textiles. Kindly Woven produces its blankets in U.S. mills, including family-run mills in the Carolinas, using jacquard weaving traditions that represent generations of American textile knowledge. Laura describes herself as fiercely committed to domestic manufacturing because every woven product helps support skilled workers, mills, and a textile tradition that has steadily disappeared from communities across the country.
