    Rustic Strength started with something deeply personal. Alicia Adamson and her family were searching for answers after their young son began experiencing severe and unpredictable sensitivities. As they reconsidered the products used throughout their home, they eventually began experimenting with making their own laundry detergent. What started as a solution for their own family grew into a company built to help other households make more informed choices about the products they use every day.

    What makes Rustic Strength especially meaningful to My American Goods® is that the family has kept American production and hands-on manufacturing at the heart of the business. Products are made in small batches at their factory in the Missouri Ozarks, with an emphasis on freshness, transparent ingredient lists, and formulas made without many of the additives the family originally wanted to avoid.

    We also love that their thinking extends beyond what's inside the bottle. Through refill stations, reusable containers, and their container return program, Rustic Strength is working to keep packaging in use longer instead of treating every bottle as disposable.
