Hand-Poured Candles & Home Fragrance from Pittsburgh

Discover Sweet Water Decor, a woman-owned Pittsburgh brand creating hand-poured candles, reed diffusers, home fragrance, and giftable everyday essentials designed around warm scents, meaningful moments, and elevated home style.

Founded in 2014 by Pittsburgh native Melissa Horvath, Sweet Water Decor began in her basement with a love for candles, coffee, and thoughtful design. Today, the company has grown to a team of more than 40 and has sold over 2.5 million candles since launching its candle collection.

Sweet Water Decor’s candles and reed diffusers are crafted by its team in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Its candles use a proprietary soy-based wax blend made in the USA, with cotton wicks and premium fragrance oils, while its reed diffusers are also handmade in Pittsburgh.

From Salt + Sea and Warm + Cozy to celebratory, seasonal, wedding, motherhood, and faith-inspired candles, Sweet Water Decor makes home fragrance especially easy to give—and just as easy to keep for yourself.

This isn’t anonymous private-label home fragrance.

It’s Pittsburgh-poured scent created by a woman-owned American company that has grown one candle at a time.
