Every piece is handmade in Chelsea, Alabama by women overcoming homelessness and domestic abuse. 100% of proceeds from Prodigal Pottery sales support the women they employ, paying salaries and providing benefits.

Pieces are handmade from stoneware or earthenware clay and hand-glazed. Many are pressed with lace or leaf imprints for a unique texture.

Most pieces are dishwasher safe, and the soap and leaf dishes are also microwave and oven safe. The Artisan Dinner Set is dishwasher safe but not oven safe, so check each product page for care details.

Pieces are made to order. Orders typically take 1–2 weeks to produce and ship.

Because each piece is handmade, colors and patterns vary slightly. Many items also offer a choice of glaze colors.
