Circular Bodies was founded by Dominique Flaksberg, a designer and maker who began creating her own skincare and body products because she couldn’t find affordable options that met her sustainability standards. Her early formulations eventually developed into Circular Bodies during the pandemic.

The assortment spans face, body, hair, and home, including body bars, facial grains, hydrosols, serums, creams, lip balms, deodorant, hair products, massage balms, cleaning powder, solid home-cleaning bars, reusable accessories, and curated kits.

The brand says its formulas are handcrafted in small batches using earth-derived and minimally refined ingredients, with organic ingredients prioritized whenever possible.

Sourcing varies by ingredient. Examples include jojoba oil cold-pressed by a small Arizona family farm, regenerative purple corn from a California family business, locally gathered organic oranges, and organic fair-trade coconut oil and cocoa butter.

Circular Bodies uses containers designed to be recyclable, compostable, and/or reusable, along with biodegradable plastic-free labels. The brand also offers a U.S. take-back program for qualifying glass containers, with free return shipping once customers accumulate four or more.
