What is processing time?

My American Goods® uses a hybrid fulfillment model.

Some products are stocked and shipped directly by My American Goods.
Other products ship directly from the independent American brand or maker.

Report the issue within 7 days of delivery. We may request clear photos of:

Keep the item and all packaging until the claim is resolved. Claims submitted after 7 days may be denied.

Who pays return shipping?

Unless we confirm that an item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect, the customer is responsible for return shipping.

If we provide a prepaid label, its cost may be deducted from the refund.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
Return-label rates vary by package size, weight, and destination.

When will my refund be issued?

Refunds are not issued when a label is created or when a package is first scanned. The return must be received and inspected before approval.

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method or as store credit, depending on the item and return circumstances.
Applicable original-shipping and return-label costs may be deducted.

Candles and fragrance products

Candles and home-fragrance products cannot be returned because of scent preference. Fragrance is subjective, and natural variations are not defects.

Lit, burned, opened, melted, warmed, or otherwise used products are ineligible for return. Report confirmed damage or defects within 7 days and include photos.

Cancellations and exchanges

Order changes and cancellations must be requested within 60 minutes of purchase. After that window, processing or fulfillment may already have begun and changes are not guaranteed.

Carter + Jane began with two beauty executives asking whether skincare really needed to be so complicated.

Best friends Susan Carter Kier and Sara Jane Pirok spent years working inside the beauty industry before embarking on what they describe as a decade-long journey to create one product that could simplify a routine without feeling like a compromise. That search eventually became The Everything Oil™, and from there, Carter + Jane grew into a much broader collection of face, body, hair, and aromatic products.

What especially drew us to the brand is the depth behind its signature ingredient. Carter + Jane works with an Eco-Certified organic farm in Morocco and a cooperative of Berber women who hand-harvest prickly pear seeds for its cold-pressed oil. Susan’s longtime connection to Morocco and experience with Moroccan beauty also helped shape that sourcing story.
