The One-Two Punch - Facial Cleanser

I used both probiotic face cleanser and hydrating face serum moisturizer twice a day- loved the no-nonsense directions. The moisturizer is non-scented and did not leave an oily residue or skin dryness. Perfect for someone with an active lifestyle.

They had me at probiotic & microbiome! I've been using this cleanser for the past few days. It has a nice gentle feel to it as you apply it. Gives a great clean, without leaving my face feeling dried out. A pea sized amount is all that's needed to get a good cleanse.

So, that’s a first win. Secondly, it lathers nicely without drying your skin which is really nice. I have oily combo acne prone skin. I like using this when I’m using harsher products like retinol. It does have a botanical smell somewhat just in case you don't want scents. I’m happy with anything that doesn’t give me acne, but everyone’s skin is different! It is more pricey, but this would last you a while as you don’t need much.

I applied this facial cleanser to my oily skin. A little bit goes a long way and it lathers very well. Its a but of a mild cleanser and my very oily skin required a second application. It didn't leave my skin feeling dried out, overall if your looking for a mild cleanser this would work well.

I like this cleanser, I wanted something gentle - I don't have sensitive skin, but just don't like using a lot of different products on my face. This is indeed a gentle cleanser with minimal foaming and rinses clean leaving my skin feeling soft.

My husband uses this along with the serum. He was having a lot of trouble with dry/flaky skin, but once he started using this it cleared up within a couple of days (and that was before I convinced him to start using the serum as well). Cleanses without stripping, and a little goes a long way. I have used it a couple of times as well when I ran out of my go-to brand, and honestly I loved it!

This really didn't work for me, I have dry skin and found it drier. I have it to a friend with oilier skin and it seems to be working for her. I also wasn't fond of the scent thus 4 stars.

This is a great everyday facial cleanser for a deep and gentle cleanse. Highly recommend.

I would give this 3.5 stars. It seems to be a pretty typical cleanser. Foams nicely, has a bit of a dish soap smell to me. It does a good job of removing make up, although I wear pretty minimal makeup. I do feel like it leaves my face feeling pretty dry, so I use a heavy moisturizer afterwards. Don't know if I've seen any benefits of the "probiotic" after a couple weeks of use.

I use this occasionally and like the result. It helps clean and tighten the pores. I use it maybe once a week. I think if you use it more often it will dry your skin out. I always like having something like this in my shower.

This thick gel cleanser has a fresh citrus lemon scent. It’s not a bad fragrance, it’s actually quite pleasant but it’s just not a typical face cleanser scent. It smells a lot like a hand wash.
The cleanser lathers quickly into a nice white foam. The cleanser is gentle but does leave my skin feeling slightly stripped of oils. I definitely need a moisturizer immediately after washing.
While I like the cleanser, I haven’t noticed any significant benefit when compared to other less expensive cleansers.

after 1 use, my face felt so much softer and even a bit more hydrated - which i wasnt expecting. this smells SO good, very citrusy like lemons/limes. i am happy with this product overall.

This is a good face wash but has no particular great things about it, hence the three stars. I typically like foam washes for my face as rubbing gels over and over into my skin isn’t the best for it. I lather this into my hands then go from there. It does remove makeup well and rinses clean leaving my skin soft. My main gripe is the smell bit starts out like lemon then goes into something bland and chemically. Almost like it was an unscented wash that they decided to make lemon scented and the smell doesn’t stick. Anyway, this is a good enough face wash if there is nothing else available. It has not shown any biotic benefits whatsoever.

The product page and packaging provides no information on the type of probiotics used but its meant to provide balance across the biome of your skin. As a cleanser it provides a satisfying scrub with just a small dab providing rich lather and pleasantly scented with citrus notes. The soap rinses off easily and did not dry out my skin. Effective for both morning and night time use.

I’m not sure about the probiotic aspects of this cleanser. Do some research and decide yourself. As far as a facial cleanser it is fine. The scent is a light citrus scent. I like the smell. If you’re not a fan, it fades as soon as you rinse it off. You will only need a small amount to create a thick rich lather. It leaves skin feeling clean. I don’t feel either greasy or squeaky clean, just clean.

I really like the scent of the enzymatic cleanser. Because it is helping remove dead skin cells you really want to be sure to moisturize afterwards.

I use the cleanser every other day with my Clarisonic. I find doing it every day has the potential to dry me out, even with the extra moisturizing afterwards.

I have used this facewash a few times now and I like it. It does a good job of removing the oil from my skin. Not sure if I will use it going forward but it is part of the routine now.

This is basically castile soap and a lot of foamers.

I am not fond of the scent, but it didn't linger once rinsed off.

I used about 1 1/2 pumps, which is more than I needed. It foams well. It took me a while to get it all rinsed off.

My face feels a little coated after drying, probably because of the agave.

It did not remove my washable mascara off very well, but my face feels clean. I think I will use it in the mornings or on makeup-free days.

Ingredients are water, Cocamidopropyl betaine (a surfactant, which makes the stuff foam), castile soap (good stuff, found in Dr. Bronner's and other brands), Sodium Laurylglucosides Hydroxypropylsulfonate (a mild cleanser and another foamer), glycerin (attracts moinsture), agave Americana leaf extract and a few more things.

I like this facial cleanser. It doesn't have an overpowering scent and doesn't leave your skin feeling dry. It foamed nicely and rinsed easily. A little goes a long way. I did not find it totally effective in removing mascara, but the rest of my makeup came off with no problem.

My main concern regarding this product is the price. I will see how long a $39 bottle of facial cleanser lasts before I purchase again.

This facial cleanser smells somewhat like citrus and foams beautifully with only 1-2 pumps. 1 is usually plenty for me since I use this as part of my morning routine and don’t need to remove makeup.

I wish it would rinse off more easily. It's not an issue when I use it in the shower, but when I wash my face in the sink, I have to rinse for a long time. These facial cleanser are the first types that I've used containing probiotics. These foam lightly and aren't as strong compared to the super foaming deep cleanser but they do serve other purposes. I enjoy using it in the daytime or after a deep clean for certain oil removal. The packaging is rather nice and looks gift worthy. You can get this for a mid tier brand price and the quality is quite good.
