The headline says this all for me really, and aside from it being a tad expensive, even more than I pay for Crew, this is the nicest hair product I’ve used in years. For all the reasons below…Scent - a very lite citrus like scent makes you feel alive when using.Texture - just perfect, easy to use and apply without clumping in places and goes on smooth across the whole hair.Long lasting control and hold for the entire day.Washes out easily at night unlike some others.A small amount goes a long way (pea sized) making its value a bit better.Great little hockey puck like container made of solid glass, just be a bit careful not to drop on bathroom tiles etc.Great on short hair, not sure about long as don’t have long hair but my wife tried it and said it was nice too.All in all I love this product and don’t have any negative things to say, I’ll likely be buying this again down the road when needed.

I really like this product. Usually I've used medium hold pastes and although those are strong, I think it takes out some of my hair when styling. I don't have that issue with this one. It feels like a soft-medium hold and you can work your hairstyle easily with it. I have shorter hair and so far this stuff is lasting me a long time. The only downside about this product is how expensive it is. However I will say, if you have short hair, this will last for a long time. So I see it as paying a premium price for a quality product. If it ever goes on sale, I'd grab another.

You don’t need much of this Jack Henry hair paste to wind up getting a nice hold. I’ve tried it when my hair is wet and I’ve tried it when my hair is dry, since the directions state both ways work. For me, it only worked on my wet hair. Once my hair was dry, I just couldn’t find a way to work it through my hair without just making a mess. Full disclosure, though, I do have curly hair. Perhaps on straight hair, it would work just as well either way.The one disappointment was that I did not notice any improvement in my hair’s shine.

Had my husband not recently cut his hair, he said this would have not worked out for him. But with the length of his hair now, it does well. This is like a thick cream. He said it isn't nearly as easy to spread through his hair as gel, and kind of bunches wherever you put it. I told him to try adding water to the paste before applying, so if that does better tomorrow, I'll come to edit.He typically prefers gels that give that shiny slicked back look, which this sort of gives.He wanted to be sure to point out that it does not give enough hold for longer hair. It's not quite a workable hold, but also not super strong.The scent, however, is delightful and mild!He said he would buy this again, but not quite for the price its currently listed at, "$28 is too much for a little jar of hair cream, I just want my hair to stay" (he does not know what his hair products usually cost, though, unless it's what he bought at the dollar store 😂)

I like that you don’t need to apply a lot of product to style your hair. I also like that the scent is very mild and it doesn’t leave any residue when it dries. I like that the hair style stays put all day long. The only thing I don’t like about this product is that when it dries, it leaves my hair feeling rough and almost greasy… Other than that it a good product to style your hair.

My husband used this and said it gave a medium, matte hold which he liked. It has a soft scent and is made of some organic ingredients however the other ingredients that are not organic are still decent ingredients.

I have preferred American Crew Fiber for years and like everything about it. I did not expect the Jack Henry paste to be comparable, but it surprisingly is.It is more of cream than the Crew Fiber, which is a heavier paste. However, when you rub each product into your palm, they both create a similarly pliable product that you can easily work through your hair.The Jack Henry actually provides a slightly better hold with less product, and creates a bit more volume. The scent is on the mild side, which is not a bad thing. The product comes in a glass jar with a plastic lid, and is heavier than you might expect.All in all, I recommend this product if you like a strong hold that allows your hair to have some movement throughout the day. It keeps it in place, but it will still feel soft and can be remolded.

For me, this natural hair paste from Jack Henry is perfect. I sport a short messy bed-head style that borders on fauxhawk. What I like about this paste is that its scent free, lightweight, offers decent hold and gives a natural finish. Its easy to apply and works well for my needs. I would totally recommend this product.

I really dig this pate de cheveux ( hair paste). It comes in a 16 oz jar that is great for travel. It has the faintest smell of lemon, it’s so subtle yet refreshing . It’s definitely a unisex hair paste. It leaves my hair shiny & natural looking throughout the day. The ingredients are organic - hydrolyzed carrot, lemon & kale protein, kakadu plum, castor oil & more. Great stuff!

The appearance of the paste is very good. Is very effective and it does hold the style of the hair. Is not greasy and soft to the hair. The fragrance is very good. Just wish I could get a bigger size. My husband said he would buy it again but hopefully they have a bigger size.

I’ve been using this product for more than a year now and I’ve tried different variations. These guys keep changing up their names and the formulas but eventually I’ve settled on the “Hair Paste” to be the one that’s the best one for me.

I was looking for a new hair paste and have committed to using natural ingredients instead of whatever simply appears to be good. So when I found this paste I had to try it.ITS INCREDIBLE. It dries well, and a very small amount goes a long way. If you don't use much of it (and allow your hair to dry before using it), it doesn't make your hair look wet/greasy and will simply look dry and hold.If you want that look, just use more, and use it while your hair is wet.The smell is nice and this is now my go to product for my hair.

I’ve tried 20+ hair pastes and have found this product to work amazingly. It has good hold and clean ingredients.

When my husband’s favorite hair paste brand went out of company, ChatGPT told me this was the best comparison. We gave it to him for Father’s Day, and he absolutely loves it. It’s malleable, not too sticky, and has ingredients that’s good for hair and won’t dry out like the other product he was using. Highly recommend!

Quality hair product, the smell could be better and the jar could be bigger but overall it does what it’s meant to do.

Easily the greatest hair holding product available

A few months ago I decided to switch most of my toiletry products to products that had been identified as safer/healthier alternatives and I love this product! It washes out easy during my showers and it offers a good shine and a good hold throughout my day!! It could be viewed as greasy, but I think it’s fine and I really like the smell of this as well. It was a great alternative fine!

Awesome stuff that gives my hair control but not stiff or greasy. Love how natural it is too, will stick with this forever as long as they don't raise the price too crazy.

So far, this product has done it's job of a good hold without stiffness. Also, the scent is very mild and does not linger. I like that it is a very clean product with minimal ingredients and no toxins that we know of. It is expensive for the size for sure which is why I gave it a 4 star, but let's see how long I am able to make it last! Having said that, finding a clean hair product is like finding a unicorn so if it doesn't disappear too quickly, I may even bump this up to a 5 star!!

This hair paste is a little pricey for the size, but a little goes a long way. Holds nice, good scent and very easy to wash off hands after application. Will buy again.

A non toxic, non greasy hair paste that WORKS!!! I bought several from different companies and all the other natural brands were just greasy and weighed my hair down, and were closer to beard products IMO but Jack Henry is right on the money! And it smells good!… please don’t change the formula ever. Thanks

This styling hair paste has a great medium hold that lasts the entire day. This paste does not add any grease to my hair or weight. The paste is really lightweight and gives a subtle shine to my hair. It's a medium hold but is also flexible, so I can run my fingers through my hair and this washes out easily.

My husband stopped using a product he’s used for 10 years after using this! He loves it! Its texture is smooth and is easy to remove from the container. It applies evenly and is easy to distribute throughout the hair. It leaves a matte non shiny finish and his hair stays put all day.he had nothing negative to say about the product and highly recommends it

This is some super nice hair paste!I love that its plant based, and also water based. It is easy to apply and to work through my hair. My typical styling paste is thicker and has stronger hold, but leaves my hair with a crunchy sort of texture. Sometimes I need that stronger hold, but when I don't I prefer this because its a more natural product, and it makes my fair feel soft, manageable and it has a nice shine to it.I'd definitely consider this medium-hold. I am really happy with it, and am impressed by the quality and it really does do everything it advertises.
