What is processing time?
Processing time is the period between placing your order and the package being handed to the shipping carrier.
Most orders are processed within 2–5 business days, Monday–Friday excluding holidays.
During this time, your item may be picked, prepared, produced, finished, assembled, personalized, packed, or otherwise made ready for shipment.

Where does my order ship from?
My American Goods® uses a hybrid fulfillment model.
- Some products are stocked and shipped directly by My American Goods.
- Other products ship directly from the independent American brand or maker.
This allows us to offer a much broader selection of American-made products while supporting the independent businesses that make them.
Why might my order arrive in multiple packages?
Products in the same order may ship from different fulfillment locations.

Is my item eligible for return?
An eligible return must be requested within 30 days of delivery and must be in the same condition in which it arrived.

Returns require authorization. Items sent back without approval may be refused.
What cannot be returned?
- Food, beverages, snacks, honey, tea, coffee, pantry items, and other perishables or consumables
- Opened, tested, sampled, swatched, or used personal-care, skincare, beauty, fragrance, wellness, bath, body, soap, deodorant, or grooming products
- Items with broken seals or missing protective packaging
- Custom, personalized, engraved, monogrammed, special-order, or made-to-order items
- Gift cards, digital products, sale, clearance, discontinued, final-sale, or hazardous items
Taste, texture, scent, expected flavor, and personal preference do not qualify as product defects.
Damaged, defective, or incorrect item?
Report the issue within 7 days of delivery. We may request clear photos of:
- The item and the reported issue
- The product packaging and seals
- The outer shipping package and shipping label
Keep the item and all packaging until the claim is resolved. Claims submitted after 7 days may be denied.
Who pays return shipping?
Unless we confirm that an item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect, the customer is responsible for return shipping.
- If we provide a prepaid label, its cost may be deducted from the refund.
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
- Return-label rates vary by package size, weight, and destination.
When will my refund be issued?
Refunds are not issued when a label is created or when a package is first scanned. The return must be received and inspected before approval.
- Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method or as store credit, depending on the item and return circumstances.
- Applicable original-shipping and return-label costs may be deducted.

Candles and fragrance products
Candles and home-fragrance products cannot be returned because of scent preference. Fragrance is subjective, and natural variations are not defects.
Lit, burned, opened, melted, warmed, or otherwise used products are ineligible for return. Report confirmed damage or defects within 7 days and include photos.
Cancellations and exchanges
Order changes and cancellations must be requested within 60 minutes of purchase. After that window, processing or fulfillment may already have begun and changes are not guaranteed.
Direct exchanges are not guaranteed. For an eligible item, the fastest option is usually to complete an authorized return and place a new order.

Excellent quality cocoa powder. Quickly shipped and the package has a secure ziploc top for storage. I keep my cocoa powder in the freezer until needed in recipes as the natural oils can make it go rancid within a few months of being opened.Perfect for brownies, cakes and adding to smoothies. I added this to my Red Velvet cake and the flavor was amazing. Not strong, artificial cocoa taste, but clean medium flavor. I found I didn't need to sift this, after all, when I added it to the RV cake batter as there were NO lumps. Very finely milled.Will repurchase.

You never know what you're going to get when you order food off the internet, but I am very pleasantly surprised by this wild cocoa powder. I use cocoa powder anytime. Anytime! I'm making a chocolate cake, brownies, loaf. It's also wonderful as a top coating on truffles and a decorative sprinkling on coffee. This cocoa powder is so indulgent your eyes will close so that all of your senses get to know it. The smell of it is like the sensation of chocolate without anything hiding it. Fully exposed cocoa. You know how coffee can smell amazing but then taste terrible when a human burns it, under or overtimes its pour or finds another method of abuse to the bean? Well this is like getting to finally smell chocolate without anyone ruining it.The purity. The taste. The overwhelming chocolate smell. Then to taste it. It tastes like you are in the place it came from. The first time it entered my mouth I heard tribal sounds and felt like dancing, then opened my eyes to the kitchen and felt displaced. I closed my eyes again.Be gentle with this chocolate. Simply mix it at a 1:1 ratio of coconut oil and cocoa. You can add a bit of sweetener if you find it bitter, or be an adult and have some each day until the bitter is gone. I never add sweetener as it takes away from the chocolate. Some day you'll understand why.

I would order this again because it is organic and it is cocoa powder, however, I’m just not sure what happened to the flavor in Coco. It would take an off a lot of this powder to make a frosting taste Like real chocolate frosting. Coffee and cinnamon help make this chocolate palatable.

I totally underestimated how cocoa powder can vary in quality. This is a game changer! It is so aromatic and flavorful. I knew there are quality differences but I was in positive shock how big they are, tasting this. I was simply looking for a cocoa powder processed without alkali. This cocoa powder is incredibly smooth and flavorful. Even my chocolate cake tastes better now by just using this brand. Totally worth it and I will not be able to go back to any other ;)

I have been using this cocoa for almost a year now because of the purported benefits of cacao. I add a scoop to my morning coffee to increase the polyphenols of my morning drink and I enjoy the taste. I feel this is a fresh product and so far the quality seems to be very consistent. I plan to keep this cocoa stocked in my pantry.

I never write reviews, but this is the best chocolate I have tried in more than 20 years. I mix a tablespoon with a 1/4 cup of very hot milk, then I fill up rest of the mug with cold milk because it is too hot in Florida now, some stevia, cinnamon and delicious.
