I've been a big fan of this brand for a while now as I used one of their products post-partum, so I was super excited to try all these out for my son. This gift set is beyond nice!Speaking from experience... many times these kind of gift sets end up just adding clutter, because you're given so much stuff at your baby shower that only applies for the baby stage, and you're almost overwhelmed to try them all before your kid gets too old for them. What I love about this set is that creams can be used way beyond the newborn and infant stage. They also apply to pretty much anyone in the family, whether the older sibling, cousin, or grandma.The packaging is incredibly nice and packaged with care. Everything (except for the TSA-friendly soap) is in a glass jar (yay less plastic waste + reusable jar!). The expiration dates on everything I recieved was late 2027, so you have quite a while to use everything up. Each product also comes in it's own little box, and has a safety seal.----Onto my favorites from the box so far...The everyday baby balm has become a total staple for me on my toddler's cheeks. His cheeks get very dry, especially this winter, and can turn into eczema if we're not careful. We put the Everyday Baby Balm on his cheeks nightly and they stay soft and have totally turned around for the better.The fragrance-free soap is awesome and I will be buying another one for our upcoming trip since it's TSA friendly and we can use it at the airport! It's been a life saver for my son because he was breaking out with some other soaps since he is sensitive to some fragrances. He also really likes the fact that it foams up cause it's just more fun.The green salve is PERFECT for bug bites. We have a similar product that my friend brought from Taiwan, and this has a very similar scent. I love that I can this one on my son and not worry about the ingredients. My nephew got a mosquito bite and this helped him so much with the itchiness!The birth/baby oil is great for those days my son is super dry, I have been using it to give him a gentle massage after bath time. It smells so yummy and I sometimes even steal a little bit for my nails.My son has super sensitive skin and hasn't had any kind of reaction to any of these. They focus on herbal, natural remedies, and most of the products in the box are on the EWG website as "low hazard". If you need a gift for a friend who is more health conscious, this is THE set to get.

I got this package as a gift for someone who was expecting. It is a very thoughtfully crafted package. If I were to use it for myself, every one of the components would be helpful, and I love that the ingredients are clean. This is the perfect gift for an expecting mother. It comes in a very giftable box and everything is packed well. I love this brand in general because their ingredients are clean. I’ve used a few other products so I figured these would be good too. So far I’ve used the Castile soap which I love and the oil. The oil is perfect for cradle cap and it really helped clear up my babies dry crusty newborn skin. I’m excited to try the other products and for sure I’ll buy this gift set for any friends or family expecting in the future.

If I had gotten this at my baby shower…holey moly my jaw would’ve dropped.There is a reason why these products keep being recommended by websites like babylist. They are truly top-tier quality and effective. With all the reports and recalls we see every week, this is one brand I trust and feel safe with. It’s not cheap, but a little goes a long way, and you never have to worry about endocrine disrupters or carcinogens.I can’t ignore the packaging though for this review . This is a great gift box to gift at a baby shower or to a new baby! The presentation of the box itself is stellar! Came neatly packed in glass jars!The small jars and balms do not have a scent to them. The massage oil has a pleasant lavender smell.All of these products are oil based. So think of coconut oil hard consistency, then they melt on the skin when applied.I don’t mind the oil based too much but it is quite hard to work with, doesn’t absorb as fast as lotions do and you can end up having a very greasy baby. I put this on my daughter’s face and it worked into her hair and ended up looking like a dry greasy hair. No big deal.The diaper balm is very oily too and leaves a yellow residue, so if it does get on the clothes it will stain it.I tested the product on myself first then my baby. Did not have any reactions or irritations. I love that the products are all natural and made in the US. Overall a great buy!

I love this baby box! It’s beautifully packaged and would be perfect as a gift but I got mine for my 5 month old. The balms don’t really have any scent which is great because they don’t need any for their delicate skin. The diaper balm is great and works well for his little rashes. I also am obsessed with the all purpose balm because he gets dry and red cheeks and it clears it right up and makes them nice and soft again. The oil is fantastic and has a lavender scent from the natural oils and I love putting that all over him to help with his dry winter skin and it sinks right in super quick so you’re not dealing with a slippery baby or anything. He’s not crawling yet so I haven’t used the crawling balm but it seems like it will be great for any rough patches. The quality of these is great and they’re all natural so they’re going to be very versatile so even if you don’t need it for that specific use, they can be great for anything. I think this is a wonderful box and I would be thrilled to get this at a baby shower or as a gift. It’s a great little set and I love any natural products I can use for my baby. Would highly recommend!

I picked up this Motherlove set for my baby shower and ended up keeping it for myself instead of storing it away. My son just turned four months old, so I've had time to really test out most of what's in here. The presentation is honestly beautiful, which made me feel a bit fancy giving myself a little pampering session with products meant for a newborn.The ingredients are legit. Everything is organic and actually simple, which matters when you're nervous about what goes on your baby's sensitive skin. I appreciate that there's no weird chemicals hiding in there. The glass jars look nice on the bathroom counter too, so it doesn't feel like typical baby gear that you want to hide away.These products are pretty heavy on the oil. The diaper balm works well for minor rashes, but it leaves your hands and baby covered in this slick coating that takes forever to absorb. I've learned to use way less than I think I need. The oil itself smells like lavender and feels nice, but same situation. My baby ended up looking like I'd dunked him in cooking oil after I applied it. The unscented balm for dry cheeks actually cleared up a rough patch in about two days, which surprised me in a good way. But again, greasy.

Love this baby care gift box. As a clinical herbalist and aromatherapist, the ingredients are well-suited for not only baby, but also for ppl who have ultra sensitive skin and the elderly. I haven't tried all the products in this care kit, but the foam face wash is top tier. It not only leaves my skin soft but doesn't cause any irritations or breakouts. I even love how the foam feels in my hand. I also used the Everyday Baby Balm around my eyes due to an eye serum for dark circles causing a little bit of irritation and slight burning and this balm calmed it down due to the ingredients of calendula, marshmallow, and other ingredients that are calming to reduce irritation and redness. Almost all the ingredients are organic. Just bc something is labeled for baby, especially for skincare, doesn't mean it wouldn't be ok to use as adults..so would recommend not just for babies, but also for skin sensitivity sufferers, as myself, and for caregivers of elderly relatives and/or patients. Will purchase again as gifts.
