What Makes Goode Health Special to Us
At My American Goods, we’re proud to feature Goode Health because they embody everything we believe in—clean, effective nutrition made right here in the USA. What makes Goode Health stand out to us is their commitment to science-backed wellness, with formulas developed by experts and ingredients sourced with care.
Customers praised the "otherworldly vanilla taste" and rich chocolate flavor of this vegan protein shake. Many appreciated the clean ingredients, plant-based proteins, fiber content, and zero sugar formula. Some noted grittiness and mixing challenges. Price was seen as steep by some, though value was good at ~$2/serving. "Best protein powder I've ever had."
- I am blown away by the vanilla taste on this one. It rivals any artificial taste.
- Best protein powder I've ever had with great macros.

I love a good vegan protein powder. I am blown away by the vanilla taste on this one. It rivals any artificial taste. So, not only can I enjoy the super clean nature of these vitamins (even methylated versions!), I don’t have to sacrifice taste at all. I think it’s a plus there’s no sweetener included, as a I can add my own, to my own liking. Or use it in other recipes, like low heat dehydrated granola, to boost protein content, and not have to adjust sweeteners. I can just follow my normal recipe. The protein content is great. The included scoop is small and delivers 14 grams. I often enjoy this made in my Vitamix with ice, yogurt and stevia. There are 5 grams of fiber to slow down digestion. Prepared this way, it tastes the exact same as as my local frozen yogurt place, but the consistency isn’t as smooth. Pea, chia, fava and rice powders will never fluff up the way whey does.If not for the cost, I would buy this all the time. It’s too expensive for me to reorder at $59.99 for 25.4 ounces. It’s quite a small bag for this price.
I received the Goode Health Vanilla Spice Superfood Nutrition Shake - 7 Single-Serve On The Go Travel Packs - 15g Vegan Protein, 5g Fiber, Zero Sugar - Complete Nutrition Blend. This is a super tasty vegan protein shake. I mixed it with a cup of unsweetened almond milk, but I think I could have added more as the shake itself was still pretty thick. At the time of this review, seven single-serve packs cost 16.95, which seems a bit steep. But if you can get them on sale they might be worth it. The box also comes with a coupon for your next purchase, which is nice.
I ordered this powder because a quick and easy shake with protein, micronutrients, and antioxidants caught my eye. I've also tried whey protein shakes in the past and sometimes that can cause some stomach discomfort for me. I was happy with this powder mix and have gone through more than half the bag. My usual mix is half water, half oat milk, and one scoop of powder. It isn't very sweet and isn't the best chocolate powder I've had, but I'm using it for nutritional value, not flavor. The one downside is that it is a bit clumpy compared to other powders. I have to mix or shake a bit extra if I want to get it as clump-free as possible, but even then I may find myself having some powder clumps.
I like that this has a decent flavor, although it tastes like powdered chocolate I've had in the distant past. It was not really sweet and was chock full of superfoods. I found the taste to be not bad but it is far from the best chocolate-flavored drink I've ever had. While the nutritional content seems really good, the texture and mixability is not good without a blender. I decided to mix it with my shake which includes fresh fruits and veggies and it turns out great. each morning. While I certainly can't claim that I've felt or have seen any results attributable to this superfood shake powder, I can believe that it is good for me.Personally I don't like the packaging as it is somewhat difficult to get a scoop out without spilling some on the counter. The cost is a little more expensive than I like but some may find it worthwhile.
This plant based powder has 15g of protein per serving and many popular vitamins with zero sugar. As a stand alone mix with water it has a good chocolate taste for sure, and I noticed a hint of the stevia -- pleasant but had that "health" mix taste (typical of zero sugar products). Where this really worked is I added a scoop of this to a banana, blueberry and kale smoothie and the chocolate-y addition of this powder really made it next level. I like this mix and will be using it all up for sure.
First off, this powder mix is delicious! It was easy to mix with cold water and ice, although it was impossible to avoid spilling the powder onto a counter. It might be easier once the bag is less than half full. The variety and completeness of the ingredients is very good. And at 90 calories per glass, this mix is considerably less calorie intensive as pre-mixed protein shakes. So this is definitely a great plus. Now, I found multiple major and minor discrepancies between the nutrition labels on the bag vs. on the nutrition facts label online. For example, Vitamin C is listed as 74 mg vs 46 mg but both claim to be 50% of daily value. Zinc is listed on the bag but not on the label. I can go on and on so if this is important to you, I’d suggest you study the labels carefully.
I ordered the Ultimate Superfood Shake Powder Mix (Moroccan Chocolate), Physician-formulated, Micronutrients, Vegan, Complete Nutrition, Greens Blend, Daily Nutrition. When I ordered this, I couldn't really see the ingredients clearly because it was a little bit blurry. It's important for me to see every ingredient because of allergies and sensitivities. This has stevia and monk fruit so be mindful about that. I also didn't realize it had green tea extract I believe that means there's caffeine. It mixes up fine for me in water. Mine is chocolate flavored, and I think the flavor is okay. There are 15 g of protein and 5 g of fiber. I like the added vitamins in this. This isn't my favorite protein drink, but it's not my least favorite. I would like companies to come up with a sugar-free version without alternative sugars in it for a cleaner option for the sensitive folks who don't tolerate sugar or alternative sugars as we can handle the taste, thank you.
I always find it difficult to eat healthy breakfast. So I decided to try healthy shakes as breakfast especially the weather is getting warmer. I am always skeptic about shake powder as more often than not that I don't like the taste. This Goode Health Ultimate Superfood Shake Powder in Moroccan Chocolate flavor really surprised me and my hubby. We both are not the biggest chocolate fan and gosh this shake tastes so good! We mix one scoop of this Goode powder with a banana, and 50:50 water/coconut milk. The texture is smooth and not oozy thick, the sweetness is perfect and the chocolate taste is very good. We both LOVED the shake and we feel good taking this instead of the crappy sugary cereal we usually have. For two bucks a serving as a healthy breakfast replacement, I think it is good value. This shake powder is Gluten free, Non-GMO, Vegan friendly, Dairy free, Soy free, and nuts free.
Having tried many different protein powders (vegan and non vegan) over the years, I was excited to see how this one stacked up to others in the stores near me. I tried this product for the first time by doing a taste test: half of a scoop in water and the other half in milk, and was pleasantly surprised when I took a sip of the mix with water and it was super flavorful – almost like birthday cake! The subsequent sip of the mix with milk was just as (if not more) amazing. I love the ingredient list in this and will definitely be subbing out my old powder for this one!
I have been looking for an easy way to get more super nutrition in my life and Goode Health is the answer! I was excited that it really tastes delicious by itself, but even more so when I blended it with 1/3 of a frozen banana & some strawberries. OMG, so yummy. It was very filling as well, so I am using it as a meal replacement. Brava!!
Goode Health came highly reccomended to me by a couple of friends so I decided to give it a try. It is a GAME changer for me, especially in the mornings. I am not an avid coffee drinker and have struggled to find a supplement to give me energy, that tastes good and includes your essential vitamins. I can finally say that I have found my go-to supplement for my morning routine! I mix the chocolate powder with almond milk, berries, spinach, and peanut butter. Thanks, Goode Health for giving me the energy I've been missing! Never felt better.
Love the product, but 4 stars for it being a little gritty
Tastes great, not enough protein in 1 serving.
The nutrition profile is excellent, and flavor is unmatched. I appreciate that they only use stevia to sweeten, rather than sugar alcohols, which can cause bloating (and worse GI issues). It's satisfying and can be used as a complete meal. It mixes well with a shaker cup, but using a magic bullet or hand blender is even better.
I’m not usually a protein powder person, but because of my sensitive gut, I sometimes can’t tolerate solid food on certain occasions, especially while traveling. I brought this with me on a recent family road trip (I chose to drive instead of fly), and it turned out to be a smart choice. It was a long drive, so having this on hand was helpful in case I got too hungry (because I refuse to eat something that could bother my sensitive gut, as I don’t carry a portable toilet with me lol)This one didn’t upset my sensitive stomach, and I was able to mix it in a shaker right in the car. It gave me a nice energy boost without any digestive issues.I liked that it didn’t contain any sugar. It does have an alternative sweetener, though, so make sure you’re okay with that before buying.I think this could be a great on-the-go option for people who like to enjoy freshly mixed protein drinks anytime, anywhere. No complaints here—the quality seems solid, and I think the price is more than reasonable for what you get, both in terms of taste and quantity.
Best protein powder I've ever had with great macros. I make protein cold brew almost every day and this blends perfectly into my coffee. Great taste, not too sweet. I'm ordering more!
This nutrition protein shake is pretty decent. The ingredient list doesn't contain anything artificial and it uses plant based protein. The sweeteners are stevia and monk fruit, both are natural. The single packs are easy to open. Mixing to a more smooth consistency did take a bit of effort though without a blender. I was not able to stir it in and had to shake very rigorously which still left some little bits of grittiness. A blender bottle worked a lot better. The taste of vanilla and spices I enjoyed. It is pretty sweet but it did leave a lingering aftertaste of the stevia and monk fruit.I liked it decent enough and will finish the pack off. The mixing effort is a bit high for me personally so I won't be getting this again.
Love this protein shake. It mixes way better than any other I’ve tried in the last 20 years! And it tastes great. Ingredient profile is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks Goode Health!
Flavor: Vanilla SpiceWhether or not you like this beverage will depend on how much you care for some of the ingredients. It's sort of a mixed bag for me. The vanilla and the spice are good. Very plain and simple to work with. Easy to play with to come up with your own concoctions. I like mine creamy so I use vanilla yogurt and then add either half and half or some unsweetened coconut milk for the liquid portions. Even added a little leftover coffee when I didn't have any fruit around. After various attempts at experimenting in your kitchen, you'll soon find how you like to work with this.It does have a super fine gritty feeling to the texture. Not too sure about that as I can sometimes get by that and others times I find it to be somewhat annoying. But I can usually get past that. What I really cannot stand is the monk fruit. It just ruins the flavor. Entirely way too sweet for me and just overpowering. I'd much rather it have real sugar, or even no sweeteners at all. Let us add our own if we choose. Anything from sugar to honey. Or maybe some agave or date syrup. I know that monk fruit is natural, but it just has such an overly sweet and nasty artificial taste. Besides, it leaves a horrible aftertaste. This would be so much better if it was not sweetened at all. Maybe add a tiny sweetener packet with each packet for those who are on the go and want that additive. For me, it just ruins what would otherwise be a good an easy smoothie with some excellent immunity ingredients.
These nutrition shake mixes are super convenient and taste great. They do recommend one as a snack and two as a meal replacement. This package comes with 7 so you don't really get many if you are doing meal replacement. It tastes pretty good. It is sweet and almost tastes like a vanilla latte from those press button machines in waiting rooms but in a good way. It has a little more spice like they say than just a vanilla protein shake.Their protein blend is organic rice, pea, chia, and fava. It has natural vanilla flavor and monk fruit as well as stevia. They add in a vitamin blend and soluble fiber as well. It has 15g of protein, 5g of dietary fiber, and 0g of sugar. I really like it is only 80 calories per a packet. It gives you a great assortment of daily vitamins and minerals that you can read on the back so a great way to add that to your diet. These are the individual packs but they also sell it as a bulk. As of the writing of this review the price is only slightly cheaper in the bulk option so if you are wanting to try it out first then these single serve packets are a great option. As far as value goes, it costs more than traditional protein shakes. However, you get more vitamins, fiber, etc. and it is actually more protein than my normal shake as well when comparing the two packet servings which is equivalent to protein powder serving size.I think it comes down to if you need all of the added things or if you already get that from multivitamins and natural fiber in your diet. If you don't, then this is a great option and a full meal replacement. If you do, then maybe protein powder might be a more economical option.
Moroccan Chocolate Superfood Nutrition Shake - 7 Single-Serve On The Go Travel Packs - 15g Vegan Protein, 5g Fiber, Zero Sugar - Complete Nutrition Blend is a decent protein shake. It doesn't have the highest protein content but for a vegan shake it gets the job done. It has a good chocolate flavor but it does taste a bit "beany" to me. It mixed ok with water but better in my bullet with some fruit and almond milk. If you need an emergency travel shake this will suffice but it's much better prepared at home with other ingredients. Decent value at around $2.50 per shake.
Goode Health Moroccan Chocolate Superfood Nutrition Shake has a lot going for it. Not the least is that it does have no sugar but my two favorite sweeteners, stevia and monk fruit extracts. It's also enriched with vitamins as well as polyphenols, greens and fibers. It did not prepare it as suggested but had half a package in 10oz of hot water and it did taste plenty of sweet and chocolaty for me. It does have a chocolate taste that comes with a strong fiber texture and also some vanilla taste. I did prepare a stronger version with cold water and it didn't taste too sweet either but actually made a decent shake. Anyway, I probably going to stretch it to 14 drinks so that'll be $1.20 perpop. Not bad for a superfood drink. The only think I was wondering is, that it did say it has green tea extract but no mention of caffeine? That can't be right! They need to clarify this part.Otherwise, I certainly prefer it over any other of the many "functional" and "healthy" fitness chocolate drinks with an insane 20-40% of sugar.
Great taste!
