The Local Branch

Handcrafted Leather Goods With a Life Well-Traveled

The Local Branch, an artisan brand creating USA-made leather goods, canvas bags, apparel, and handcrafted provisions with a rugged, well-traveled spirit.

Founded in 2009 by maker duo Blaine and Mackenzie, The Local Branch began while they were building their craft from an Airstream trailer, traveling across America and shaping a brand rooted in handmade quality, independence, and American craftsmanship. Today, they continue that work from their roots in Skaneateles, New York, crafting leather and canvas goods in small batches by hand.

From leather bags and wallets to belts, backpacks, apparel, blankets, candles, apothecary goods, pottery, and provisions. This isn’t fast fashion or disposable accessory design. It’s heritage-inspired, American-made craftsmanship built for real use, real travel, and real life.
