gold + ivy was founded by Alexis Smith. She began experimenting with handmade goods in 2016, officially registered the business in 2017, and moved to Nashville the following year to pursue the company full time.

The brand’s candles and room sprays are made in its Nashville, Tennessee studio, where Alexis and her small team pour, label, pack, and ship the products themselves.
